GOD is Constant and Faithful. These verses from the Bible emphasize God's unchanging nature. HIS Plans remain unchanged no matter what we do or fail to do. His Love and Mercy are unending, eternal.
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
James 1:17 - Every good endowment and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.
Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever.
Let me explain.
I have heard people say, that God changes the circumstance when one prays. That would mean God changes His plans for us. That would be so wrong. God is not dependent on our actions. We need to correct this thought.
God knows what our future actions will be, before we even commit to them. God knows, when something hits us, we will come to Him. He knows we will pray. And God always answers. God is all knowing. Nothing is hidden from Him.
NOW:
God always hears our prayers, and God answers them as we pray. For some the effect is quick as they asked or prayed. For some it takes time and some others they wait a long-long time.
The ones who get it immediately maybe their circumstances were such that the effect was a now or never situation. And maybe it was also the first time they believed and prayed with all their heart and soul maybe for oneself or someone else. God is our greatest encourager and when you believe in God, He is going to strengthen you in your faith journey.
The ones who are kept waiting, their waiting period is also a time of undergoing trials and growing in what God knows is needed for their inner being. You are certainly not a beginner in your faith journey, but you have been just there in your faith.
So how do you grow, when you don’t know how, God is our loving Father, He will take us on this journey, one step at a time. Trials they are what makes us stronger and more reliable in our character. We learn more about ourselves and others and the ability to understand grows through our various experiences.
- Now the ability to want to learn and grow is up to you.
- You accept the trials and learn from it, then you move a step higher than the previous one.
- If you fail but are willing to learn-God will keep pushing you because you are willing to learn. God is eternally Patient.
- But when you say no and stick with your beliefs then you will miss the workings (promptings) of the Holy Spirit in your life. And that is a sad thing especially for you.
I am writing so you understand. God wants every child of His to be victorious, no matter who you are or where on Earth you come from. You are loved by the Almighty God. Here goes….
