Sweet Love!


Thank You, Abba Father. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. 
Thank you, Mama Mary-Queen of Heaven. 
Thank you, St. Joseph and all the Saints in Heaven. Thank you, Padre Pio, Pope Paul VI, St. Jude T, Don Bosco, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, Little Flower of Jesus and Bishop Oscar Romero. 

Thank you, Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. 
To all Order and Ranks of Angels, Thank you. 
Thank you my Guardian Angel. 

My Dedication To Pope Francis and Pope Benedict. 
To our Cardinals (and Cardinal Oswald Gracias), all our Arch-Bishops and our Bishops.

Good Morning! Love will keep us together! True, these are troubled times, But, LOVE will keep us alive!
God is the Creator of the universe! Fear nothing! God will never forsake us! 
Jesus says, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age". Matthew 28:20 


It is said, when love is true, there is, a whole Universe that will reach back for me and you.

Everybody needs to feel and know they are loved. And more importantly, everybody needs to hear those words of love. 
When you love someone, don’t keep it in your heart. Your heart already knows. It is the one, you love that needs to know. 
Life comes with no guarantee. I could cease to exist at any given time. We have these precious God given moments, where we can love and cherish, the ones we love, as if they were our last moments on Earth. Tomorrow is unknown! 
Love is Truth.
Love is Courage-It is the ability to sacrifice.
Love is Patience-To endure all trials.
Love is Faith-It says, Nothing Is Impossible For My GOD!
Love is Hope-It says, God will cause us to Triumph!

We spend our lifetime looking for someone who would understand deeply what love is and what it does to the heart? 
Love is more than a burning fire... Love it gives everything it has, never counting the cost. 
How much do you love me?
How much do you really care? 
It's the simple things that matter most, in everybody's life. 
Sometimes just knowing that you're truly loved, makes everything all right.


Jesus loves us so much, that He accepted a brutal death on the Cross. 
There is no greater love in the world, than one die to save ones friend? Jesus died for us, all.

My cousin believes in this theory, ‘Practice a thing for 30 days it becomes a habit’. 
I'm thinking, 'If we put on LOVE, we become love'. 30 days practice, is it too much to ask?


It has been six months now that I have been at home. The last day I had been out was the 20th of March, 2020 for the morning mass. On the 7th day, my cousin lets me know I am safe. I realized how much I worried him.  
I don’t regret a day of being at home. I have learnt a lot in this time and it has been very valuable and all for the grace of God!
This is a bit of what I have been doing in the last 5 months, I think very deeply and may be that is the reason I get astonished. A few things, done with God's grace. 
  • I have planted 16 Tomato plants (they are around 3 feet tall) and 15+ Chili Plants-4 varieties and they are growing. It is a lot of satisfaction to watch Chilies grow. 
  • And I have 5 lemon plants growing. I have always wanted these plants besides all the other decorative plants that I have. 
I have two huge windows and they look beautiful with all the plants. And each time I look at them I am amazed at God’s magnificence. 
All these plants are grown in pots and outside my window (box grill). What astonishes me is the Chili and Tomato seeds are so minute, but they hold all the information that is required for the plant to grow and produce the right kind of fruits (vegetables). I am forever in awe of God’s amazing ways.

There is a gift given to each one of us.
A Heart... 
There are talents.
There is so much one can achieve. 
There is so much to learn. 
There is so much one can do. 
Today is endless. 
Sky was never the limit! 
Earth is not always where we are meant to be. 
The Heart sets something in motion, 
The Universe reciprocates. 
Love is all that matters. 


The Almighty God, out of nothingness, brought the world into existence, with a mere word He scattered the Heavens and space with Stars and He sustains it all perfectly with the power of His word. 
Jesus, the Word of God, came in human flesh - He did not cease to be what He always was, as God, but He became, man. Because He was made flesh, because of His incarnation, He understands our struggles. 
So don’t worry about tomorrow. Look at the sparrows, they excitedly sing their way to the Heart of God and I get super excited when I see them or hear them chirp. My little sparrows, they don’t worry and God provides. 

There are so many things we miss in our daily life. Go! Take the time to look out your window. If you don’t have a window, that’s okay, when you decide to take a walk outside, take your time and look around you. 
And it’s a bright sun-shiny day. If there are trees outside, have you noticed the branches on the trees, have you looked at the leaves, there are various shades of green and there could be flowers blooming. 
Have you looked at the sky? What colour is it? Do you know that a particular formation of colour in the sky, attracts fish in the sea? Have you ever noted that there is a huge haul of fish at a particular time? Do you not read the skies? Do you not take the time? 

When it’s raining, have you watched the branches of the tree? They sway as if they are dancing to a symphony? Have you noticed the clouds, they are always different shades and shapes and the sky has always that dreamy look. I don’t know about you, but I love watching the sky lightning up. I love the sound of Thunder! The louder it gets, the more excited my heart gets. I get super charged! 
I also love to walk in the rain. And I love to walk into clean puddles of water. 
My cousin, can tell you after how many minutes it will rain, by just looking at the clouds. Say supposedly, I think that it might rain, he will look at the sky and say no it won’t? He’ll say, ‘it’s heading somewhere else’. And he has not been wrong. 

And when it snows, oh my God, what a feeling that must be. As it is, when it gets cold, it makes you want to snuggle. And maybe just sit by the fireside. To me, I would love to know what it feels like holding the snow and actually be there when it snows. See to me, it is Gods wonder! Everything that God does is a wonder to behold and forever cherish! 

In life, we take things for granted. We miss out on acknowledging the people in our life. We are too busy, to notice and sometimes we think mighty of our self. We let things in our life slide by. Remember: ‘Time waits for no man.’ 
Our mind is a clustered area with too many thoughts. We have closed our inner thinking, our capacity to understand, our ability to take the time, our inner child to see and enjoy, we have forgotten how fragile life is and as such, we lack the capacity to appreciate what we have. LIFE! Remember it is a gift of God! 

In a hurry, we plan things; and we miss out on the best. We miss out on what God offers us for our life. We think we have great plans, but since you did not listen, you would not know the plans God had for you, what an outstanding life God had in mind for you. 
Take the time to look out your window, take the time to look at the intricate designs of the leaf, take the time to notice the people in your family, and around you. Take the time to look and really know the face, the eyes, the smile, the hairline, the hand-the lines on the hand, the heart. Take the time to know. Take the time to love. Take the time to behold and cherish forever what God has in mind for you. Today won’t repeat itself. 

Get ready! 
I’ve learnt that God often changes us before He changes the circumstances around us. Don’t allow negative things to dominate your thoughts. Put your Hope in God, He’ll direct your steps. 
Hebrews 11:6- And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. 
In my own strength, I can do nothing, I am nothing. But the one thing I can do is choose to seek God every day. 
Keep God first place! 


For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3
So here it is, right in the middle of a desert, you will find, an Oasis-a fertile area often having a date palm grove. It also has a water source underground and it supports vegetation and animal life. 
Just think about it, an Oasis (a water supply), right in the middle of the desert! 
No matter how the economy is doing, no matter what you're surrounded with, If God wants to prosper you, He will prosper you right in the middle of a desert, right in the middle of a crisis. It is always up to God.
God is Eternal. He is not bound by the limits of time or space!

If you look at it from God's Eye, He is constantly encouraging us! God has provided us with so many instances, which are a testimony to the wonderful working of God in our lives. 
But the problem is we keep our eyes closed. God has created certain places on Earth, that astonish us and create a sense of wonder and it is precisely that, which will reinforce our Hope, thus encouraging us to believe in the Impossible. All we then have to do is REMEMBER. Bring to memory, the marvelous things God had done!

And then you look at the Lotus, that grows pretty in the murkiest of waters. Bloom where you are planted. At the moment, we are caught in the midst of the Pandemic. But even so, our Hope comes from the Lord. REMEMBER: God's Blessings will chase us down! 
Be content, be filled with Joy, be amazed at everything God does and keep your gaze fixed on the Lord! 
I oh, Lord am forever amazed! I am in Awe of You! It is You I desire with all my heart. 


God created the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Galaxy and the whole Universe. 
God created the majestic Mountains and the Rivers that meet the Sea.
God created all kinds of Birds and Animals. 
God created man in His own Image and likeness. 
God builds in patience. 
God is detail specific. 
God works to perfection.
God works with LOVE! 
Look around you, God has created everything to hold our attention. And REMEMBER God is our greatest Encourager! If Earth, with all the wonders around us can be so breathtakingly beautiful, can you, imagine what Heaven must look like? The very thought makes my heart race, towards Heaven!


If we look beyond the Stars, there is the answer to all our dreams.
Sometimes, somewhere there is an answer to all our prayers. 

PRAYER: Oh Lord, guide my every action. Let Your thoughts be my every thought. 
Let my every heart-beat know Your amazing love. 
Enlighten my mind, purify my heart and sanctify my soul. 
Let my every breath whisper Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! 
Never let me be parted from You! Amen. 


Sweet Love 2! Surrender implies...


The sacrifice of self is a complete surrender to God, saying I am wholly yours. Mary’s response to God, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38 Mary did not think of self.


When we let go of the world, it is the most difficult step to take. Therefore it is most important:-that 
  • I (We) believe that God has forgiven my (our) sins. 
  • I (We) believe that i am (we are) unconditionally loved by God. 

Surrender implies that whatever comes ones way, one implicitly trusts God. When we speak of surrender, failure becomes a walk of life, because we do not give in to our desires. One cannot choose a top notch position and say one has given up everything. That would be a lie. The position one holds in the world, be it a job or Church work, must come from God not anything from ones doing. And it is a sad thing that there is a craving-a mad rush, the desire to be seen and heard. It's an addiction. 
I believe, if God wants to make you His Saint, He will make you one. He will bring forth people, He will bring forth documentations, even from the farthest parts of the world. We have to learn to trust, God. Everything, in His time, His way! When God intends, everything moves. And I believe with all my heart.

I believe that the Heart must speak good and desire to do good. Some women do good with helping in the Church work. But their tongues are sharp, always on the lookout to criticize and to point out others sin. They can be mean, nasty and bitter. It is hard for them to be kind. This is not, what Jesus expects of us.
Before Covid-19 a known personality (I wont mention the name) came to Church for mass and was seated with his family. After mass, this silly woman walks up to him and asks him why he is seated in the Church. And then she asks him to leave. Imagine what he must have felt with his family seated beside him. Imagine God's heart breaking too. Now, did Jesus give her the approval. NO! 
People come to Church to pray, but would you believe that women not only pray but they also watch who is receiving Communion and who is not. How many times, have women come and asked me as to why I don't receive Communion? Then I answer them, 'this is my third mass, that I am participating in'. I don't speak anything else. I don't need to.
These women, when they come to talk, expect me to tell them a story. One woman gave me those horrible looks as she asked me the question. And she already judged me with the looks that she gave me. I felt horrible, because I could see the look in her face. Watching what I do during the celebration of the mass, means you have missed in participating in the sacrifice of Jesus. Anyway this same woman then came on 3-4 different days for the 6:00am and 6:45am mass. I know because even without an effort, from myside, I could see her. 
When I come to Church, I come to be with GOD! And I'll tell you point blank, so you don't have to assume, I am a wretched sinner, but for His grace what am I? 

It is a very difficult path to walk on. Especially, when people are mean to you, do the most hurtful things, you got to choose to love with all your heart. As the going gets tough, chances are one would want to opt out, a surrender is never going to be easy. It is at those crucial moments, that I whisper to Jesus, “I trust You Jesus”. And I pray, “I am in trouble Lord, Help me.” 
What am I without God’s grace? Nothing! 
What can I do without His grace? Absolutely-Nothing! 
Surrender, has to be with the grace of God. Without God we don’t stand a chance. 


What is obedience? 
In simple terms, obedience is compliance with an order, request, law or submission to another's authority. It is behavior that's respectful and mindful of rules and laws. 

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11 
The Bible stresses it as an essential part of the Christian faith. 

Obedience is better than sacrifice because we are letting God be God and staying in our proper place with Him, the place of dependence and surrender to His goodness. 
To be obedient is to surrender to God and desire His will in all things. God expects obedience (Deuteronomy 11:26-28). 
To choose Christ is to choose obedience. 
John 14:15 - If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 
John 14:21 - He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” 


When we let go of the world, we let go of our dreams, we let go of the desires that hold us, we let go of our selves, and this part is the most difficult one. But we cannot take this step without the grace of God, without the help of the spirit of God. 
A surrender is: 
  • It is not making up ones mind and saying today I surrender. It does not work that way. 
  • To surrender implies a heart full of love and a forgiving heart. A surrender implies: Obedience to God and to people who we are answerable to-- Obedience to Priests, a wife's obedience to her husband and children's obedience to their parents. Obedience to all our elders and obedience to the Boss and obedience to the Government
  • There has to be no bitterness, no anger and no grudge. 
  • And most importantly also no gossiping. 
  • It is a constant walk with God, undergoing trials and staying firm. 
  • You will meet with failures, insults and humiliation and the last one is the most difficult one, for it breaks your heart in a million ways. Find your joy, in the midst of this experience. And the only way one can experience Joy, is by keeping our gaze on Jesus.
  • Forgive wholeheartedly!
  • And remember a trial comes purely from God. You can't fight with someone and when that person gives you a tough time, declare that you are being persecuted. It is what you call self inflicted.
  • A trial can be a week long, a month long or maybe years, before things suddenly change. 
  • A surrender implies, that you leave everything to God and trust HIM and HIM alone! 
  • It is a trust that no matter what happens, God will never abandon me. 
  • God is faithful and so I must learn from Him to be faithful too. 
  • We have to pray to be able to discern. 
  • The Spirit of God will always guide me telling me gently, ‘let it not affect you’. Someone does you wrong, someone hurts you-says bad things about you, ‘let it not affect you’.
  • Everything I do, I do with the consent of God. My whole day is directed by the Spirit of God. And when something gets difficult, I look up to Mary, the perfect model, the perfect silent martyr. 
  • It is an understanding between God and me, a perfect union where I understand His silence and His softest whispers and the gentle breeze across my face. 
  • It is most important-that, we believe that God has forgiven our sins. We believe that we are unconditionally loved by God. 
  • When you love, truly love God with all your heart, a surrendered life is the outcome. My life is not my own, it is God’s gift to me. My surrender implies my love for God and for His Will in my life. 
  • May we always be like Mary and with all the simplicity pray those wonderful words, ‘let it be to me according to your word’
  • God accomplishes His will in us, when we trust and leave everything to Him and when we surrender not worrying for tomorrow, or about tomorrow. 

Sweet Love 3! Cherish!



I must pray to the Holy-Spirit, asking for the graces required to make me tender-hearted. 
To conquer unkindness in our hearts: We must believe that Christ died for each one of us. 
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:2 
In this sentence there are realities so great and so wonderful, that when we believe in them, they are the power of God and a great uprooting of unkindness. 
Paul was hardhearted and cruel. Is it not remarkable, then, that Paul became the advocate of tenderness? For it was Christ in Paul that made him to be tender-hearted. 
"and be kind to one another, tenderhearted." Ephesians 4:32

God makes no mistakes!

We have to appreciate one another. God makes everything beautiful and God builds in patience. 
Women in general, find it hard to compliment another woman. And if someone does compliment, they end up saying something nasty about the person, never realizing, that God makes everything beautiful. Everybody has a blessing and God has distributed everything in His wisdom. Someone is beautiful then someone is brainy and someone else is skilled. 
When we criticize, a person for what they are blessed with, be it looks or skills, we criticize the work of God. What we may not say so much in words, but what it means is, God has not done a good job. 
And the reason one could belittle another person is because they do not see the gifts that God has graciously blessed them with. Maybe they cannot see good, because their intent is on finding faults in the other person. 
We don’t trust God enough. When we truly keep our eyes open, there is a whole universe out there, most of it uncharted. There is no need for greed, jealousy, envy or whatnot. 
Our God is a bountiful God. The more you stretch yourself, the more, will you learn about yourself? There is a universe that is yet to be discovered. Open the gift that is you. 
Every time we appreciate the other-we appreciate the work of God. It is the trust in God’s goodness, the trust that knows that God has blessed me too, this trust, enfolds the gift that is me. All praise is due to God!


These days there are a lot of cancer related deaths and death related to heart attacks. It could be the medication that they are on, that somehow triggers some kind of deterioration. If there is a genetic history of either cancer or heart related problems, people should be cautious. Something of the Virus could be a trigger. So people, who are pre-disposed to such ailments and breathing problems and yes diabetes, must keep themselves in a healthy environment and away from all exposure that is, if it is possible. Nobody knows everything about the virus. I don’t watch the news; but if you notice the pattern in deaths there is a huge number of them. The numbers could be more, when it comes to the common man. 

Everyone loves someone. We must think of the people in our life and cherish them for whatever earthly years we have. Wear a mask at all times and keep a safe distance from people. This seems to be the only safe alternative. Let us all care for each other. Every life matters.   


Have this attitude of knowing, that no Good thing will God withhold from me. When you know, what you know, you will- 
Walk with a spring in your step, 
Joy in your heart, 
A smile on your face and 
An unshakable faith in God!


Sweet Love 4! The Exodus journey!


In Exodus, God leads His people (the Israelites) from slavery in Egypt to the Promised Land. 
God desires for His people to love and worship Him. It is God, Who dwells in the middle of Israel’s camp in the wilderness. It is Moses' belief that God’s presence among the people, is what sets Israel apart from other nations. 

It’s been said so many times now, the words ‘new normal’ describing the present situation we are in, namely the Pandemic. 

The number of people dying has been on the rise for quiet some time now. There is no guarantee to anyone’s life. 
All the places of prayer have been closed, some may have opened most recently, but in adherence to, there are restrictions that have to be followed in view of the Pandemic. Wearing a mask is essential. And the use of a sanitizer is just an added precaution. Then there is the stipulation of keeping a distance of 1 meter, which in India, is a difficult one for people who work and have to commute. 
There is a fear. And not everyone co-operates. 

The meaning of normal=the usual, typical, or expected state or condition
I ask with humility, so as not to offend you or get you agitated, but in all honesty, what of this Pandemic is normal? Is it normal that we see our fellow brethren die? Is it normal that many of our fellow brethren are getting laid off from their jobs and companies have crashed? Is it normal that so many of them with difficulty get their one time meal. 
No. This is not normal. To think this way of the future, means we have lost Hope. 
From the start of day, to the evening, things change. Believe that God can change things in a matter of seconds. It is not intelligence, nothing to do with logic, but look at it with your eyes of faith. 

Being a Christian (Catholic) waking up on a Sunday morning, to go to Church, meeting and wishing the people I know, a Good Morning that is normal. I get to see our Priests-normal. 
Wearing a mask and having to use a sanitizer and keep a distance, this is a new predicament. But there is nothing normal about it. 


In the journey of the Israelites, God dwells in the middle of Israel's camp. In our journey through the Pandemic, Jesus comes to our Home and strengthens us with His presence and blesses our Home and keeps us safe. 
Jesus is God, The Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, the Holy Son of God.
Christ died for our sins and Christ Rose from the dead.
Jesus commanded us to eat His body and to drink His blood so that we could live forever. When we drink His blood we take within ourselves divine life. 
Jesus says in John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh." 
John 6:53 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 
Jesus is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world. 
Exodus 12:7-Then they shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat them. The Hebrew people were obedient to God, they offered the Lamb in sacrifice and ate it. And when the Angel of death passed over they didn’t die. They were able to escape Egypt and go to the Promised Land. 
Jesus commands us to eat His body to drink His blood so that we can live forever. So that when we die, when the Angel of death comes, we won’t die the second death but we will enter into the Promised Land of Eternal Life in Heaven.


In this Pandemic, the Church' have been closed. Pope Francis gave us the extraordinary "Urbi et Orbi" ("to the city and to the world") blessing on March the 27th, 2020 at St. Peter's Square. Pope Francis invited all Christians to participate in this special prayer. In response to Covid-19 impacting the entire world, Pope Francis, granted all participants a Plenary Indulgence before imparting the "Urbi et Orbi" blessing. This Plenary indulgence includes a pardon for any sins committed, granted the person confesses their sins and receives Holy Communion when the Church opens and the confessions are made accessible. 
We must care for the safety of all our PriestsLet us not be foolish or irresponsible-Let us remember this always. We need them to be safe. We need to keep them safeThey are our Lifeline.

I pray for all our Priests of all ranks and all orders at each celebration of the mass. I pray for our Popes-Pope Francis and Pope Benedict. And I pray for Cardinal Oswald Gracias. I pray for all our sick and aged Priests. And I pray for all our Priests.
I pray for their protection, from all evils, protection from all people with evil thoughts, protection from diseases, viruses and Corona virus. I pray for their protection, from all calamities, from all disasters, from all accidents and tragedies. I pray for Gods grace to keep them in His Holy Will at all times. 


To stay in faith we can’t keep focusing on the Pandemic, namely COVID-19. Knowing the purpose and what it is here for, we need to ask the Spirit of God, for guidance. When we utter the words ‘new normal’, it is not like we want to speak the words, but maybe we have been hit hard. Let us not speak like it is here to stay and let us believe that the best things in life, are yet to come. Jesus did not personally tell anyone, that this virus has no cure? So, whatever that has you shaken, shake it up and rise to a new Hope.
For if we believe in the Lord, this must never be our way of life. 

Jesus spoke with His apostles, He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15-16 or 
Mark 8:29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.” 
Jesus is the Son of God, the King of Mercy, the second most powerful person of the Blessed Trinity. Who is Jesus to you, me? Speak your belief. And RISE in the mighty name of Jesus. 
To me, my Sweet Jesus, You are my Beloved and I am Yours!

If you look at it from a clear point of view, obstacles are steps to make us walk in the direction, to the plans which God has for us. God wants a personal relationship with His people. God had a plan of deliverance for the Israelites. God has a plan of deliverance for us too and He wants a stronger and personal bond with each one of us. Trust God with all your heart. And RISE to conquer in the name of Jesus. 
It’s not unusual to be afraid, when something comes our way. Every time the fear arises, as many time as it arises in a day, each and every time, surrender it to Jesus and let Jesus take over. 
Remember: Fear disables belief. Remember, God has the final say. Remember, God's blessings will chase us down.

Let us always remember: We are an Easter people! We will rise though whatever storm, may come our way. We will rise through this time too!

Remember, we serve a Supernatural God. 
Remember-Remember: We will rise to conquer in the name of ‘Christ’! And conquer we will! Amen. 


Sweet Love 5! Conclusion...


When our most tireless efforts fail, when we are battered by the raging storms of life, we need to say this, over and over again, ‘God is with me and God is faithful’. Let this sink deep into your heart. 
When days grow dark and nights grow bleak, we can be thankful that our God will lead us through life’s dark valleys and into the sunlight of Hope. 

Jesus alone can calm our fears. Jesus enables us to overcome the difficult moments in life, when with Faith and Hope we turn to Him and ask His help. He alone has the words of eternal life. 
When things get difficult or I am completely terrified, I whisper to the Heart of Jesus, 'Jesus I trust You'. 
Peter walked on the waves of the lake, because he was looking Jesus in the eye. Peter had faith, but when the wind blew strongly Peter began to sink, because in that given moment, he doubted.
And when he doubted, he lost personal contact with the Master. Peter's faith lacked complete abandonment to Christ. He began to sink and was rebuked: "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" Matthew 14:31. 
When we keep our gaze on Jesus, our ears attentive to His words, our will firm in following His command – we too will conquer the storms that beset us.

Jesus is with us in the midst of the storms of our life. He comforts us with His words, Take heart, it is I; have no fear”. Matthew 14:27(-31)


Up where the Mountain meets the Sky!
Out where the lightning splits the sea!
There's GOD in Heaven, Who is Watching me.

God is called 'The Old Faithful'. He keeps His promises. God, Himself is the model we must study for examples of faithfulness. Because God is faithful, the strength to be faithful is promised to us. We must always, work our way to be faithful.
God does not begin a work and leave it undone. God never stops until He is finished. His obligation to all life and its care and sustenance continues unabated.
When God's Word goes forth, It accomplishes what He sent It to do!

REMEMBER: 

God's grace is God’s unmerited favour! His grace is sufficient for any trial or suffering we will ever encounter. Often we wonder why God allows something and we question or doubt God's goodness. 

DON'T! 

We will remember that what God promises-God delivers. God is called The OLD FAITHFUL! 

Love is forever. You give to the last breath never expecting anything in return. No matter how hurt or broken you are, you love. There is no bitterness or anger in love. Let me leave you with a Love quote. It is one of my favourites and one that stands the test of time. ‘The Sun, never tells the Earth, you owe me. Look what happens with a LOVE like that. It lights up the entire Sky.’

Love is awesome, isn't it? It is God's best and He gives it to us freely! No charge.

CONCLUSION: 

God has the final say. God can bless us, no matter where we are. The odds may be against us but the Most High God is for us. God’s blessings will chase us down. 
Remember, in a perfect storm we need to be perfectly calm like Jesus. We will make it through this storm. Amen. 

Don’t be afraid! Change is inevitable. Change is how we grow.
Sometimes God closes doors for reasons we may never know. But where there is Faith, there is Hope. And with HOPE there are infinite possibilities. I am a firm believer that when a door closes and if you look closely or wait, then in time you will find a window or maybe a door open up. So, hang on. It may get bumpy. Don’t give up! Don’t give in. HOPE and Believe!
What you are looking for, maybe just around the corner.

I wish you an Ephesians 3:20-Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Jesus asks me to leave at sharp 07:15 from home and I do. Before entering the Church I see Fr. Ashlyn and I now understand Jesus’ insisting on the time. 
I wait to wish Fr. Alvaro after the mass. I notice Fr. Ashlyn’ expression and I don’t want to cause any hurt. I look somewhere else. I don’t like doing such a thing. It is always a joy to see Fr. Ashlyn. I am always grateful for the things I’ve learnt from Fr. Ashlyn. I will never forget that. And I have learnt a lot. After wishing Fr. Alvaro, I enter the Church again only to thank Jesus with all my heart for allowing me to see Fr. Ashlyn.

THREE HOURS' AGONY – Fr. Reuben– Part 1 
A Beautiful beginning with the Rugged Cross hymn. 
((Fr. Reuben speaks-Good Friday description:-A newspaper Report from Jerusalem may have described the events of Good Friday as follows; Jesus of Nazareth was executed today, outside the walls of this ancient city. Death came at about 3 o’clock. A freak thunderstorm scattered the crowd of curious onlookers...from the hill country of Galilee. Burial took place immediately. The police guard was posted at the gravesite as a precautionary measure. The Galilean is survived by His mother.)) (I was reminded of...something I am very fond of) 
Archbishop Fulton Sheen: “There was never a preacher like the dying Christ. There was never a congregation like that which gathered about the pulpit of the Cross. There was never a sermon like the Seven Last Words.” 
“If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.. Luke 9:23

Final act of Surrender was to the Father. Father into Your hands I commit my spirit. 
Night Prayer: 
I lay my body down to sleep, 
I pray the Lord my soul to keep, 
If I should die before I wake, 
I pray the Lord my soul to take. 
In my little bed I lie, Heavenly Father hear my cry. 
Lord protect me, guard me and save me till the morning light. 
(I remember having prayed this as a kid, except the last 2 lines...) 
To be free simply Let go. There is much God can do in our lives if we surrender to His will. 
Prayer, Into Your hands we commend ourselves oh Lord 
(Fr. Reuben-But I believe, my God, my infinite and tender God, that, Love can do everything that Eye has not seen, Ear has not heard, what You have prepared for me in Your eternal Kingdom. In Your name I surrender. Knowing the best is yet to come. Amen.) 
I surrender all. Hymn and Heaven came down. Hymn. 
Jesus died on the Cross, washed away our sins and gave us new Hope, in our suffering. It was a day when Heaven came down and glory filled all of us, who believe in Jesus, as our Lord and Saviour. 
Father concluded with Blessings. 
Final Hymn. IF we live, it’s for the Lord. 
Those seven words, unlike the words of dying men, never died.
 
My thoughts: But there is always a conversation that will remain in my heart. And it is not just the 3 hours agony, but the way Fr. Reuben expresses himself, his way of explanation, his concluding prayer during the celebration of the mass, are beautiful. I loved the hymns. During the September novena at the Mount and Fr. Reuben is celebrating the mass, I can hear him at home. And I live down the hill. Fr. Reuben has a beautiful-warm loud voice.
