Padre Pio 1st Letter-Holy Mass Guidelines

When in school in the VIII standard, I found a picture of Padre Pio on the floor. To me, this was no coincidence.
Of all the places in the world, he let me find him, on the ground. HUMILITY, my first lesson! I am still learning.
It was my first meeting with Padre Pio. And in my heart – I knew him.

Holly and Gerry are a married couple, deeply in love. They fight occasionally.
One winter, Gerry dies of a brain tumor.
Deeply distraught, Holly withdraws from her family and friends. As they rally around Holly on her birthday and help organize her apartment, a cake is delivered, and with it is a message from Gerry. It proves to be the first of several meaningful messages—all ending "P.S. I Love You" — which he had arranged to have delivered to her after his death.
As the seasons pass, each new message fills her with encouragement and sends her on a new adventure. Holly's mother says that Gerry's letters are keeping Holly tied to the past. But they are, in fact, pushing her into the future. With Gerry's words as her guide, Holly slowly embarks on a journey of rediscovery.
(This is a movie, I watched before I could come across the letters of Padre Pio. And when I did, I KNEW, this was no coincidence. BE OPEN!)

This is the letter, I first came across years back. July 25, 1915. A Letter from Padre Pio to Annita Rodote (my name-Anita). An advice on how to attend the Holy Mass. This is my connection with Padre Pio. This is what matters to me and these are Padre Pio’ guidelines to me too.
I Believe!
I know, I am nothing without GOD!
I have updated Padre Pio' letters, to Annita Rodote with guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved daughter of Jesus,
May Jesus and our Mother always smile on your soul, obtaining for it, from Her most holy Son, all the heavenly charisms!
I am writing to you for two reasons: to answer some more questions from your last letter, and to wish you a very happy names-day in the most sweet Jesus, full of all the most special heavenly graces. Oh! If Jesus granted my prayers for you or, better still, if only my prayers were worthy of being granted by Jesus! However, I increase them a hundredfold for your consolation and salvation, begging Jesus to grant them, not for me but through the heart of his paternal goodness and infinite mercy.
In order to avoid irreverence and imperfections in the house of God, in The Church - which The Divine Master calls the house of prayer - I exhort you in the Lord to practice the following.
Enter the church in silence and with great respect, considering yourself unworthy to appear before the Lord's Majesty. Amongst other pious considerations, remember that our soul is the temple of God and as such, we must keep it pure and spotless before God and his angels. Let us blush for having given access to the devil and his snares many times (with his enticements to the world, his pomp, his calling to the flesh) by not being able to keep our hearts pure and our bodies chaste; for having allowed our enemies to insinuate themselves into our hearts, thus desecrating the temple of God which we became through holy Baptism.

Then take holy water and make the sign of the cross carefully and slowly.
As soon as you are before God in the Blessed Sacrament, devoutly genuflect.

Once you have found your place, kneel down and render the tribute of your presence and devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Confide all your needs to him along with those of others. Speak to him with filial abandonment, give free rein to your heart and give him complete freedom to work in you as he thinks best.

When assisting at Holy Mass and the sacred functions, be very composed when standing up, kneeling down, and sitting, and carry out every religious act with the greatest devotion. Be modest in your glances; don't turn your head here and there to see who enters and leaves. Don't laugh, out of reverence for this holy place and also out of respect for those who are near you. Try not to speak to anybody, except when charity or strict necessity requests this.

If you pray with others, say the words of the prayer distinctly, observe the pauses well and never hurry.
In short, behave in such a way that all present are edified by it and, through you, are urged to glorify and love the heavenly Father.

On leaving the church, you should be recollected and calm. Firstly take your leave of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament; ask his forgiveness for the shortcomings committed in his divine presence and do not leave him without asking for and having received his paternal blessing.
Once you are outside the church, be as every follower of the Nazarene should be. Above all, be extremely modest in everything, as this is the virtue, which, more than any other, reveals the affections of the heart. Nothing represents an object more faithfully or clearly than a mirror. (My often used cautionary line, 'the mirror reflects') (My mom, recently gave me a mirror, which was distributed by a Priest, with a certain advice. I keep that mirror with me.)

In the same way, nothing more widely represents the good or bad qualities of a soul than the greater or lesser regulation of the exterior, as when one appears more or less modest. You must be modest in speech, modest in laughter, modest in your bearing, modest in walking. All this must be practiced, not out of vanity in order to display one's self, nor out of hypocrisy in order to appear to be good to the eyes of others, but rather, for the internal virtue of modesty, which regulates the external workings of the body.

Therefore, be humble of heart, circumspect in words, prudent in your resolutions. Always be sparing in your speech, assiduous in good reading, attentive in your work, modest in your conversation. Don't be disgusting to anybody but be benevolent towards all and respectful towards your elders. May any sinister glance be far from you, may no daring word escape your lips, may you never carry out any immodest or somewhat free action; never a rather free action or a petulant tone of voice. In short let your whole exterior be a vivid image of the composure of your soul.

Always keep the modesty of the divine Master before your eyes.
Never forget this divine model, Annita. Try to see a certain lovable majesty in his presence, a certain pleasant authority in his manner of speaking, a certain pleasant dignity in walking, in contemplating, speaking, conversing; a certain sweet serenity of face. Imagine that extremely composed and sweet expression with which he drew the crowds, making them leave cities and castles, leading them to the mountains, the forests, to the solitude and deserted beaches of the sea, totally forgetting food, drink and their domestic duties.
Thus let us try to imitate, as far as we possibly can, such modest and dignified actions. And let us do our utmost to be, as far as possible, similar to him on this earth, in order that we might be more perfect and more similar to him for the whole of eternity in the heavenly Jerusalem.
I end here as I am unable to continue, recommending that you never forget me before Jesus, especially during these days of extreme affliction for me......
Don't worry if you are unable to answer my letter for the moment. I know everything so don't worry.
I take my leave of you in the holy kiss of the Lord. I am always your servant.
Fra Pio, Capuchin.

Padre Pio was asked what his Mass meant to him. He responded:

  • “It is a sacred participation in the passion of Jesus. All that the Lord suffered in His passion, I suffer, to the extent that it is possible to a human being. And that is apart from any merit of mine, but entirely due to His goodness.”
  • “Every holy Mass, heard with devotion, produces in our souls marvelous effects, abundant spiritual and material graces which we, ourselves, do not know.”
  • “If we only knew how God regards it, we would risk our lives to be present at a single Mass.”
  • “The mass gives to God an infinite glory.”
  • “Mass is redemption of your soul and reconciliation with God.”
  • “Listen to the Mass the way the Virgin Mary stood at Calvary”
  • “The holy Mass regenerates the world.”
  • “The fruits that we receive at Mass cannot be enumerated. We will know it only in Paradise.”
  • “I want to save my soul at any cost. I live for Jesus Christ, I live for his glory, I live to serve him, I live to love him. If it depended on me I would never leave the altar.” (PadrePio)

Padre Pio 2nd Letter-Guardian Angel

I Believe! I know, I am nothing without GOD! I have updated Padre Pio' letters, to Annita Rodote with guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Padre Pio ends this letter with-: 'May you live and die in the arms of Jesus.'
In my letter dated October 10, 2020, I had included Christina Perri' - 'In your arms'. It was as Jesus instructed. At the time, I was unsure, because I did not fully understand it. But, I now remember and I now understand.
It was one of the days, in the year before, when Jesus explained how death would come. Jesus says, my eyes close, looking into His Face one moment and when they open the next moment, Jesus is right there.
When I breathe my last, it will be in the arms of Jesus, as promised by Jesus, my Lord and Saviour. And as Padre Pio ends this letter, he writes, 'live and die in the arms of Jesus'.

July 15, 1913 - From Padre Pio to Annita Rodote. In this letter he gives her valuable advice regarding how to be with her Guardian Angel; locutions; and prayer
As each and every one of us has a Guardian Angel, it would do us well to take Padre Pio’s advice to heart.

J.M.J.D.F.C.
Dear daughter of Jesus,
May your heart always be the temple of the most holy Trinity; may Jesus increase in your soul the ardour of his love and may he always smile on you as on all souls whom he loves. May most holy Mary smile on you throughout all the events of your life, and abundantly replace the earthly mother you lack.
May your good guardian angel always watch over you; may he be your guide on the rugged path of life. May he always keep you in the grace of Jesus and sustain you with his hands so that you may not stumble on a stone. May he protect you under his wings from all the snares of the world, the devil and the flesh.
Have great devotion, Annita, to this good angel; how consoling it is to know that near us is a spirit who, from the cradle to the tomb, does not leave us even for an instant, not even when we dare to sin. And this heavenly spirit guides and protects us like a friend, a brother.
But it is extremely consoling to know that this angel prays without ceasing for us; offers to God all our good actions, our thoughts, our desires, if they are pure.
For pity's sake, don't forget this invisible companion, always present, always ready to listen to us and even more ready to console us. O delightful intimacy, O delightful company! If we could only understand it!
Always keep him present to your mind's eye. Often remember the presence of this angel; thank him, pray to him, always keep him good company. Open up yourself to him and confide your suffering to him. Have a constant fear of offending the purity of his gaze. Know this and keep it well imprinted on your mind. He is so delicate, so sensitive. Turn to him in times of supreme anxiety and you will experience his beneficial help.
Never say you are alone in sustaining the battle against your enemies. Never say you have nobody to whom you can open up and confide
You would do this heavenly messenger a grave wrong.

As regards those interior locutions, don't worry but be calm. What you must avoid is that your heart becomes attached to these locutions. Don't give too much importance to them; show that you are indifferent. Neither despise love, nor long for such things. Always reply to these voices: "Jesus, if it is you who are speaking to me, let me see the facts and the effects of your words, that is, holy virtue in me."
Humble yourself before the Lord and confide in him, spending your energies by divine grace, in practicing the virtues, and then let grace work in you as God wishes. It is virtue which sanctifies the soul and not supernatural phenomena.
And don't confuse yourself by trying to understand which locutions come from God. If God is their author, one of the principle signs is that as soon as those voices are heard, they fill the soul with fear and confusion, but afterwards, they leave a divine peace. On the contrary, when the author of internal locutions is the devil, they begin with a false security, followed by agitation and an unspeakable malaise.
I do not doubt at all that God is the author of those locutions, but one must be very cautious because often, the enemy mixes a lot of his own work through them. But this must not frighten you; this is the trial to which even the greatest saints and most enlightened souls were subjected, and they were acceptable to the Lord. You must simply be careful never to believe in these locutions too easily, especially when they concern how you must behave and what you must do. But you must receive them and submit them to the judgment of him who directs you. Then you should resign yourself to his decision.
Therefore it is best to receive similar locutions with great caution and constant indifference. Behave in this way and everything will increase your merit before the Lord. Don't worry about your spiritual life; Jesus loves you and very much, and you try to correspond to his love by always advancing more and more in holiness before God and men.

Pray vocally also; as the time has not yet come to leave these prayers, and patiently and humbly bear the difficulties you experience in doing this. Be ready, also, to undergo distractions and aridity, and you must by no means neglect prayer and meditation. It is the Lord who wishes to treat you in this manner for your spiritual advantage.
Forgive me if I end here. Only God knows how much it cost me to write this letter. I am very ill; pray a great deal that the Lord may desire to free me from this body soon.
I bless you along with the excellent Francesca. May you live and die in the arms of Jesus.

Padre Pio 3rd Letter-A Prayer for The Church

March 8, 1915. A letter from Padre Pio to Annita Rodote, A Prayer for The Church.

I have learnt that we all have to do our part. We need to give our best for the greater Glory of God!

Addressing our Heavenly Father, Padre Pio wrote:
"May the apostasy of many souls belonging to the sheepfold of Jesus Christ come to an end once and for all. May God's reign come soon; may this most holy Father sanctify His Church; may He abundantly shower His mercy on those souls who have not known Him up to now. May He destroy the reign of Satan and reveal to all the evil snares; and what a liar he is.

"May the most tender Father enlighten the intelligence and touch the hearts of all men, so that the fervent may not become cooler or slow down in the ways of salvation, that the lukewarm may become more fervent, and those who have moved far from Him may return. May He also dissipate and confuse all the wise of this world so that they do not wage war and inhibit the propagation of His reign.

"Finally, may this most holy Father banish from His Church all the dissension that exists, so that there will be only one sheepfold and only one Shepherd. May He multiply a hundredfold the number of chosen souls, send us many saints. May He, through them, make fervor return to all Christian souls.

"May the number of Catholic missionaries increase, as we once again have reason to complain to the divine Master: "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."

"Annita, don't ever forget to pray for these needs which I have set out. Thus, without your either being an apostle, a priest or a missionary, you will gain that crown which the heavenly Father has prepared ab aeterno (meaning- From eternity, from the beginning of time) for them.
"But there is another prayer which you must never neglect: See how much scorn and sacrilege is committed by the sons of men towards the Most Holy humanity of His Son in the sacrament of love? It is up to us, Annita, as we have been chosen beforehand by the Lord's goodness, to be members of His Church." It is up to us, to defend the honor of this meek Lamb who is always concerned when the case of souls is in question, but always silent where His own case is concerned.

"Let our entire lives, our every action and all our aspirations be completely directed towards making reparation for the offenses which our ungrateful brothers continually do to Him.
"But our thoughts must be raised higher still. There is a Father up there who alone can and must give everything to glorify this most holy Son of His. We must knock at this divine Father's heart, with holy and filial confidence, and pray that He Himself will take on the defense of Jesus in the Sacrament, either by bringing about an end to the world or to stop so much iniquity."

Padre Pio 4th Letter-Thy Will be done!

How good the Lord is to everyone! But how much more does he demonstrate that goodness to those who have a genuine and sincere desire to please him in everything and await the fulfilment of his divine purposes in them! Learn to recognise and worship God’s will even more concerning all human events.
Often repeat the divine words of our dearest Master: “Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” [Matthew 6:10].
May this lovely prayer always be in your heart and on your lips in all the circumstances of your life. Repeat these words when you are afflicted; repeat them when you are tempted and when you undergo trials that Jesus sends you. Repeat them even when you are engulfed in the ocean of Jesus’ love. That prayer will be your anchor and your salvation.

Vianney Sunday!

Wishing all our Priests and a thank You too - A Happy Feast (A Happy Vianney Sunday)!

And also wishing, Fr. Reuben, Fr. Joe, Fr. Daniel and Fr. Christopher A Happy Feast! And, Thank You for everything You do.

Prayer by St. Faustina
O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church:
Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of Priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord.
Lord, give us Holy Priests; You yourself maintain them in holiness.
O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the Souls of Priests.
May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of Priests, for YOU can do all things.
From the Diary of St. Faustina, 1052.

Good Morning! We are facing difficult times, but we are not alone. We must believe that God is with us! Every day is a new beginning! It has in its hold, untold promises. Trust in Jesus!
Let Your love be upon us oh Lord,
As we place all our HOPE in YOU!

Philippians 4:13 says - I can do all things in him who strengthens me.

Calum Scot's You are the Reason. Love is the most precious aspect in each ones life. There is magic, but can you see it? And what does your heart look for... You are the Reason.
There goes my heart beating
'Cause you are the reason
I'm losing my sleep
Please come back now

There goes my mind racing
And you are the reason
That I'm still breathing
I'm hopeless now

I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
Oh, 'cause I need you to see
That you are the reason

There goes my hands shaking
And you are the reason
My heart keeps bleeding
I need you now

And if I could turn back the clock
I'd make sure the light defeated the dark
I'd spend every hour, of every day
Keeping you safe

And I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
Oh, 'cause I need you to see
That you are the reason (I don't wanna fight no more)

I don't wanna hide no more
I don't wanna cry no more
Come back I need you to hold me (You are the reason)
Be a little closer now
Just a little closer now
Come a little closer
I need you to hold me tonight

I'd climb every mountain
And swim every ocean
Just to be with you
And fix what I've broken
'Cause I need you to see
That you are the reason

I love You Jesus!

Do you Remember:
St. Francis of Assisi-preached to the birds.
St. Anthony of Padua-preached to the fish!
Joshua spoke to the Sun and Moon and told them to hold their positions and they did for an entire day in the sky!

The universe has a code, a language unknown to us. It explains things in a certain pattern. All you need to do, is 'BE OPEN.'
If you don’t understand, ASK? And the Universe, will provide the answer, till you get the message through.
Whoever said, that God speaks only a particular language! God could choose to make a contact with me or you in the way He wishes to. Are you ready?
BE OPEN! (Alert at all times)
Listen!  (It could be a word, a sentence, a number, it could be just anything, you don't want to miss it-LISTEN)
The STAR, was what led the Wise Men from the East to Bethlehem looking for The Christ, Who was to be born.
I believe - the SIGNS led to The greatest TRUTH of all JESUS CHRIST!

The music is all around us
It’s in the wind! Have you ever watched the branches sway in and out. It’s like they are dancing. If you listen to it closely, you will hear the sound of the wind (the music) and then you will notice the pattern. To the music, the branches dance.
It’s in the waves! You watch the beautiful sunset on the beach and as you do, the waters come rushing onto your feet and you feel this beautiful tingling sensation. As you close your eyes to soak it in, you hear the sound of the waves. And that beautiful sound is a music that you carry… it keeps you OPEN to the rhythms of life.
It’s In the pitter patter of the rain drops! It is a music in its own right, pleasing to the ears and takes you back to when you were a little child.
It’s in the light and the sound of Thunder! Beautiful and majestic work of God! I love lightning and thunder. Every time I hear a thunder, my heart does a dance of its own. When my life on Earth is done, Abba Father has promised to show me, what it (Thunder & Lightning) looks like from Heaven! I am excited!
All you have to do... Be OPEN!
All you have to do... Listen!

It’s TIME! These words, since the 22nd of February-this is everywhere I go.

Everything is on the table, the good and the bad. All one has to do is pick from the table. How difficult is it? Be led by the Holy Spirit!

There are many people who believe in the worst scenarios and at the first sign of trouble they opt out for something better. And there are some, after a time of waiting, decide that things will never change and lay their weapons down. And there are a handful of people, who no matter how weary they are, or how twisted the road could get, would still opt to walk the way believing that tomorrows Sun will once again shine on them.
Every day is different. And today, will not come again. The Sun rises every morning and with it brings rise to infinite possibilities.

Loneliness kills. But sometimes it is necessary to be alone. We have to remember, God never abandons.
If you feel or are living alone, ask yourself what is it that has led you to this point in life? Sometimes it is a behavior pattern, one’s own lack of loving others, one’s own selfish ways that lead one to be separated from the other members of the family. Could it be that you always wanted to live alone and now you are? Whatever the reason is, open your heart to God!
If the above case is clearly not you, then is it due to Covid-19 that you are facing this phase of loneliness in your life? If so, then it is just a temporary phase. It will pass.
But given this chance to bring in Gods amazing love in our lives, don’t let go. Every lesson is important it draws us close to God.
When in company of others, we never take the time to speak with God. We can chat with friends for hours together. But we never realize how God waits for us to speak with HIM. And why does He wait?
Have you ever seen two people in love? How they rush through the day, to meet up with each other? They just want to see each other, speak with one another. To the world it is sheer foolishness. But to them, it is their whole world. After having spoken-seen each other, their hearts are rested.
We are lonely until we rest in God! We are lonely until we speak our heart to Him. He knows everything but He wants you to come to Him, trusting that He alone can solve all the most difficult, most impossible things in our life.
You are never alone-God never permits that. GOD, has placed a world of love in each ones heart. God waits patiently for us to come to Him, to speak with Him. We will experience loneliness, till we decide to speak with God. And when we do, God fills our lives with the strength and confidence we never thought we had.
In each conversation, God builds you up, because You permit Him in. When God takes over, the devil has to flee! (No trouble will dare stand). And God will bring you all the company you need. Trust in God!
The time that we are in, is an opportunity given to us to get closer to God. We may have lost people we love and care for, but we need to trust that they are in Gods tender-loving care.
REMEMBER: You are never alone. God walks before you, clearing your path.
Remember-REMEMBER: ‘This too shall pass’

John 1:11 He came to his own home, and his own people received him not.
Rejection hurts! And there are no easy answers to this. I know that we all face it at some point in our lives. Jesus experienced rejection. He did nothing wrong. Jesus experienced it for us. He was scorned by His own people. He heard the crowd demand His crucifixion. Matthew 27:23. On The Cross, as our sin-bearer, He felt complete abandonment by His Father that He cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
I love this thought, that Jesus cares for me,
It matters not what life may bring,
I know Jesus loves me, oh so tenderly!

By our own efforts we can never do or be what God wants us to be. We must be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Colossians 1:27 says: “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
When things look like it can’t happen. Believe in God, that GOD Can!
Be still!
When things are beyond our limits, it is not beyond God.
Walk into the realm of God, where anything and everything IS POSSIBLE!
I am an OVERCOMER in CHRIST!

Please Read-
The Battle of France is over: the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization? Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be freed and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duty and so bear ourselves that, if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say: This was their finest hour.
The emotional power of his words is unquestioned. Three weeks later, on July 10, 1940, the German Luftwaffe began bombing Britain. The Battle of Britain had begun. The tribulations of that summer would show Britons at their finest hour, in no small part because Winston Churchill (former PM of the UK) gave one of his finest speeches at his country’s moment of greatest need.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue. As you speak so shall it be.

I love Psalm 23. The two lines form the 23rd Psalm: "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me."
We may not be able to avoid going through that dark valley, but we have to remember, God is with us. And, God will give us the strength to make it to the other side.

Dare to believe!
One touch of Gods favour is all we need!
One touch of Gods favour SUDDENLY changes everything!
One mighty push from God can thrust us LIGHT YEARS ahead!
Look onward and never at the facts. Remember - God is for us.
Don't let anyone convince you, that your dreams are a waste of time.
Choose FAITH!
No matter how impossible it may look, God has ways, to get us, to our destiny.
No crowd can be a hindrance.
No mountain can come in your way.
No river that you would need to cross.
Because God will make a way, where there seems to be no way!
REMEMBER: God is faithful. God is The WAY!

Not a minute before and not one second late than the God appointed time.

I believe, everything happens for a reason.
I believe, change must begin with me.
And it all happens with the Grace of God!

The promise of HOPE is in a hopeless situation. Endless love and endless possibilities.
Love teaches us to Hope, when all hope is gone. It helps us to forgive and trust. When you truly love someone, you should believe in them no matter what.
Make a wish! Hope it is forever,
Hold it to your heart and never let go.
Pray for LOVE to glow,
like the stars in the night, all beautiful and bright!
Forever Joyous!
And forever a winter’s magical night.

You never know who you are, till you are with God!
God cannot fill, what has not first been emptied.
Let us learn from Mary to always Be Open to the ways of God?

When God dreams HE dreams big.
Dreams don’t come easy. But they do come true.
Abba Father dreamed for me and for you.
Home: It is always there when you are ready for it.

Overcomer - Part 2

I am an eternal dreamer. This is what I can best describe myself and what God in His abundant grace and mercy have blessed me with.

There are two concepts actually that are a part of me and what “Love Prevails” is a part of. One is a theory and the other is a love story. And of course it is built on the one true thing that the God we serve is a GOD of the Impossible!
  • I have seen Jesus in my dreams since I was 6 years and the last time I saw Jesus was when I was 14.
  • St. Jude is the Saint of the impossible cases. In my most difficult moments, when I needed him the most, he heard me. One of the days it hit me that if St. Jude is called the saint of the impossible cases, then God must do the impossible. He allows His saint to. That was a moment of a deeper understanding. And God was leading me to a deeper faith in Him.
  • Archangel Raphael has been my constant companion in this incredible journey. On a Sunday, a long time back, I met a colleague who lives down the same road. We were standing under a tree and I felt a flap of a wing. I looked everywhere but there was no bird on the tree. I did not forget the incident. A couple of months later, I met that friend again in the same place and when speaking he told me, of his son Raphael. It hit me that moment, Archangel Raphael. That’s the reason we met in the very same spot. BE OPEN! I would often see the number 444, I never knew what it meant. When I would open my Bible, it would open to the page, with no number on it. One fine day, I looked to the page on my right and it read 445. The missing page 444-indication to the passage on TOBIT. Sarah cried and prayed for God to end her suffering just as Tobit prayed and begged the Lord to let him die because of his misfortunes. Archangel Raphael was sent to heal both of them.
  • I know Pope Paul V1 from my childhood days. My dad had kept Popes John Paul I, John Paul II and Pope Paul VI snaps. I would often stand watching Pope Paul VI. I feel he is always right here. Every time I look at him, I feel very much at ease, very much comforted.
  • I found Padre Pio when I was in school in the VIII standard. I saw his snap on the floor. He made me find him.
  • My Guardian Angel…Sorry for all the trouble and the times I made you cry.
These are my Pillars of strength; I made it through with them.

Just two weeks back, (end of January) I remembered the sequence of things, I mention below. They are important to me.
I was in the third standard and this was the beginning of the year. Me and my friend a Muslim were the last 2 left in the class. And our class teacher asked why her mother did not marry again? The girl replied that her mother believed that, ‘love is only once’. I knew it that moment, but those words, the word LOVE, was-is all I ever needed. That moment awakened me.
Love is my dream, my reality and my life.

I am in the 9th year of my life in the month of May.
I and my brother Adrian would go to my aunt’s place, which is just 5 minutes walk from where we were living. I would with admiration look at this home which was under construction. And it was just opposite to our aunt’s place.
My dad lets us know that he was offered a home and he refused it and then as he describes it, I jump and tell my dad of how much I admire it.
Yes, later my dad took that offer.
When shifting, my parents took my brothers and left me in charge of the place we were shifting from.
After they left, I heard a thunderous voice calling my name, 'Anita, Anita, Anita'. I came out, to the garden. I saw no one outside. I went in. Again I heard my name. I saw no one. And this time, I did not go in. I was terrified. I could not understand what this was all about. But it continued. And I ran out the garden door. Then I heard a thunderous laughter. I ran as fast as I could to where my parents were. I told them, but nobody was listening and nobody believed.
I amused ‘ABBA Father’.

As a 91/2 year old (month of June)(this is just a month later), I went to St. Ann’ Church (Mangalore) in the afternoon, and standing right across, I looked up to God, never for a second realizing what I was asking for. I began praying in this manner, asking for a person who loves me the most in the world and Who or how He would be, I did not think….. I prayed for the greatest love story in the world.
Sometimes, we pray to God, with little or no understanding. I did not at all know what I was asking. But did I ever doubt what I prayed for. Never!
I believed that when I prayed, God would take care of it. How or when, those thoughts never occurred.

This is a theory I love. A message written on a piece of paper, rolled-up and put in an empty bottle and set adrift on the ocean; hoping that it will reach the person for whom the message is intended for. In the empty bottle, I send my letter. I believe, even if you live in the farthest corner of this world, my letter will find you. This is my trust in Jesus.

Here the internet acts as the Ocean.

If you have read my letters, you would have noticed there are always 2 yellow ribbons one at the end of a song and the other at the end of a letter and the yellow ribbons are only attached when I do send my letter across. And it has been a long time since…
This is a love story and one of my favorites, since I was a child. Love is forever and one waits, forever. Love believes in the impossible. If you have not heard this before, then I do hope you will love it as much as I do.
This is a story of a man who is on his way home. He has written a letter to the woman he loves stating, his thoughts on his home coming. It’s been years now. He further states, that if there is a yellow ribbon on the tree, he will know-that he is welcome. If not then, he will simply pass by. He mentions that he is not the same person who left years back. As the bus approaches his home town his heart is filled with apprehension. He wonders whether he will be received. There are things in his past. But now that is all behind him.
As the bus draws close, he wonders, would she still be waiting for him. Years before, she told him that she would keep a yellow ribbon tied to the tree, as an indication of her undying love for him. He wonders does she still feel the same.
He is scared to look, but as he does he notices that the whole tree is filled with yellow ribbons. From a distance he looks and all memories start filling his heart with love and tenderness. There she is waiting at the door. And as he gets close to her, she takes his hand in hers, and says ‘for all the years-for the love, one ribbon-would never be enough. From a distance a ribbon could easily be missed-but not a whole tree of ribbons’.
Love never quit. Love PREVAILS . . . . .
Here I am, Abba, Father! And, this is my dream!

PRAYER: Abba Father, on Your promise of victory, Joshua, dared to stand in your presence and ask that the sun stand still and so it was done. There has never been a day like it ever, where at a command of a man the sun and moon stood still for the whole day. That is the day You listened to a human being (a warrior).

I love You Abba Father, and I did with Your grace dare to stand before Your mighty presence asking for that which You now have given me. Like Joshua, I believe. Abba Father, thank You for Jesus.

With all my love,
For LOVE PREVAILS!
AnitA.

The Heart of God!

PEACE is God’s gift to us!

A Family is the single most important influence in a child's life.
A bond in a family grows strong when each member comes together to support one another in their times of trial.
When we know who we are in the family, we are better able to channel the Love from within our heart to the World outside.
Our deepest need is to be loved, cherished and remembered. In a loving family nobody is ever forgotten.
A loss of any member in the family is unimaginable.

Imagine the heart of God! Imagine the heart of a Father, Who is in a continual mourning for His children.

We wage wars, we kill each other. The heartache is for the family who has lost their loved one.
During this time of Covid-19 many families have lost their loved ones. It is not just one particular family, but so many families across the Globe.
I don’t have a count of the families who have lost their loved ones. Only God does and knows!
In God, we are all His children.
Every member of every family, a child of God-children of God!
God’s love ETERNAL!
Gods pain never ending! We fail to see, what God sees? We are all His Children, created in His Image and likeness.

Can you imagine the look of a war ravaged town? All you see is shell shocked faces. There are homes all broken down. Bodies of loved ones stuck under the debris.
The future for these survivors is bleak. Some families have only one parent as a survivor and some have only children as the survivors.
Do we take responsibility for this injustice? These fearful children are later placed in a camp. We rob them of their life. We rob them of their innocence. In wars families are destroyed.
For the elders, there is no means to buy food for the hungry mouths to feed. They have to rely on what is given to them. Some of them have lived their whole life in this manner. Many have gone to their early graves, never having a chance for that one glimpse of hope after everything that was taken from them in a split of a second.
Only at night under the Sky, can they look at the Stars and dare to dream. Reality then knocks them awake with a sound of an explosion, the very next morning and they are again on a run for their lives. Each day, is the same as yesterday….

What is life for a man trapped in a war zone? There is no security-there is no guarantee to life.
There is a constant fear of missiles; there is no telling when or where it strikes.

In Exodus 5:1, we hear God say, ‘Let my people go’. Given the time we are in, the circumstances in our day to day life and where we have placed God in our lives, I wonder do we recognize the voice of God.
  • Babies are God’s gift. According to WHO, every year in the world there are an estimated 40-50 million abortions (babies killed in their mother’s womb). Isn’t this murder? Cruel inhuman torture-inhuman killing. And we celebrate women’s day! The 10 COMMANDMENTS: The 5th: Thou shalt not kill.
  • Everybody has a right to life and a right to live. We forget it easily. We have never spoken out of fear of being criticized? We have in numerous instances, failed to uphold our brother’s dignity and his right to life. When we fail to speak for Justice-we then have supported an unjust cause.
  • Killing in hatred, in the name of religion.
  • The poor are exploited. They have rights too and nobody to read them their rights.
Clearly this is not what God ever intended, for we are all His children.
‘Let my people go’.

What hurts my brothers-sisters must truly break my heart? For if we did have a heart as that of God, we would never have permitted such atrocities being committed. (The Book of Genesis says, we were made in the Image and likeness of God. Therefore, our heart must be like God, but it isn’t).
This is a thought that I often ponder on.

God says - ‘Let my people go’.

To maintain safety people were advised to keep a meters distance. To survive would mean that we must adhere to rules and regulations. But not everyone seemed to understand or follow.
In our Church, the Priest had made a request urging the Parishioners not to touch the statues and to receive the Holy Communion in hand. Even a placard was placed at every statue I think. (I am not sure of this-it was when Covid-19 had just made its entry into Mumbai, India)
But even then I saw people kiss the statues and 3-4 of them received the communion on their tongue.
Most of the Catholics stick to this point, ‘we believe in Jesus and so He will save us’.
True, trust in Jesus, will always give you a 100% result. Your Faith has healed you. Right?
What about obedience to The Cardinal, to Your Priest, to the Government.
Faith + Obedience = Gods Will.
In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus falls on the ground and prays, ‘if it were possible, the hour might pass from him’. Mark 14:35
Mark 14:36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; remove this cup from me; yet not what I will, but what thou wilt.”
all things are possible to thee; Words Jesus spoke to His Father, in prayer. Jesus believed it was possible for Abba, Father to keep Him from this suffering. (Jesus could have persisted, BUT…) And in a complete surrender, Jesus adds, ‘yet not what I will, but what thou wilt.’
Jesus walked to His suffering on The Cross. John 3:16 says it perfectly: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Please read: Luke 12:
[15] And he said to them, "Take heed, and beware of all covetousness; for a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
[16] And he told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man brought forth plentifully;
[17] and he thought to himself, `What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?'
[18] And he said, `I will do this: I will pull down my barns, and build larger ones; and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
[19] And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.'
[20] But God said to him, `Fool! This night your soul is required of you; and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?'
[21] So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."
[22] And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.

[23] For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
[24] Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!

Each one of us has dreams. Some of us have great aspirations. We think we know what we want. And we make plans to how we will get there.
Everyone wants the fastest way to get rich. The wants they never stop.
But something like COVID-19 comes in the way.
Everyone has lost somebody whether in a family or someone they know. There is no stability, as is in a warzone.
So the question do you have a job seems nonsensical. Do you see where I am getting to?
There are families suffering because an earning member has lost his job. It is difficult in both the situations, the war zone and now in the time of Covid-19. Both sides suffer!
And I also heard this most often that families suffered because of EMI’s
My thought: 'don't count your chickens before they hatch', we learnt this way back in school. But somewhere down the line, we forgot it.
When you want what you need, the right means would be to save the money and then purchase the product. You don’t buy something based on the money you don’t have in hand. Because, how can one guarantee that he/she will have the job tomorrow?
Never count on tomorrow, because I don’t have a guarantee for today. 'Defer not till tomorrow to be wise, tomorrow's sun to thee may never rise.'

Trust in Jesus! Leave everything of your life to Him! And God will work wonders in your life. You cannot dream the way God dreams for you!
Make God, your number ONE priority in life!

Truth be spoken-It is difficult not to give in to the charms of this world. But remember this, this life is temporary.

HEAVEN is the ultimate Beauty! It is our HOME!
