The SACRIFICE - THE Mass!

What is the MASS?
The Celebration of the MASS is about GOD!
On the Cross, Jesus Christ atoned for our sins. And the celebration of the mass, is the Perfect Sacrifice of Christ on Calvary, made present for us again in a bloodless manner.
In the celebration of the mass, Jesus Christ lovingly offers Himself in an act of Sacrifice to God the Father on our behalf.
He atones for our sins, He offers Thanks and Praise, and He intercedes for our needs.
We have the privilege of attending this sacrifice and uniting ourselves to Christ’s self-offering. This is our participation in the celebration of the mass.
The Priest: “Pray brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father.”
We respond: “May the Lord, accept the sacrifice at Your hands, for the Praise and Glory of His name, for our good and the good of all His Holy Church.”
The Priest gathers not only the Bread and the Wine, but the substance of our lives and joins them to Christ's Perfect Sacrifice, offering them to The Father.
The mass is the most powerful form of prayer. In every mass, Jesus Christ is truly present, (under the appearance of Bread and Wine) giving Himself to us completely in the Holy Eucharist.
The Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus under the appearance of Bread and Wine.
John 6:56 - He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

Padre Pio:
  • “If we only knew how God regards this Sacrifice, we would risk our lives to be present at every single Mass.”
St. Francis of Assisi:
  • “Let everyone be struck with fear, let the whole world tremble, and let the heavens exalt when Christ, the Son of the living God, is present on the altar in the hands of a priest!”
  • “…the Lord gave me, and gives me still, such faith in priests who live according to the rite of the holy Roman Church because their orders that, were they to persecute me, I would still have recourse to them… And I desire to respect, love and honour them and all others as my lords. And I do not want to consider any sin in them because I discern the Son of God in them and they are my lords”.
  • St. Francis regarding those consecrated in “Persona Christi”, The Priests: “…in them I discern the Son of God…”

What is Eucharistic Adoration?
When you love someone, everything they do is adorable. To watch the one, you love is a delight, that the heart relishes in. Eucharistic Adoration refers to those moments of deep love and admiration of Jesus with Jesus.

Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist.
The Blessed Sacrament (The Eucharist) is exposed, within the visible part of a monstrance. (Jesus is truly present under the appearance of Bread-White Host).
TO PRAY: Apart from Eucharistic Adoration, one can also pray before Jesus’ presence in the Tabernacle - in the Church. We could pray or we could silently speak to Jesus from our heart.

These days there is a lack of reverence in the Church-Blessed Sacrament and at Eucharistic Adoration/Prayer Room.
What do i mean by a lack of reverence?
Lack of reverence means disrespect. The ultimate cause of disrespect to God stems from a lack of knowledge and reverence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, not recognizing that The Almighty - The Creator of all humbles Himself to be sacramentally present under the form of Bread and Wine.
"The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth," - Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Padre Pio’ quotes on the importance of Eucharistic Adoration:
  • "A thousand years of enjoying human glory is not worth even an hour spent in sweetly communing with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament."
  • "Kneel down and render the tribute of your presence and devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Confide all your needs to him, along with those of others. Speak to him with filial abandonment, give free rein to your heart, and give him complete freedom to work in you as he thinks best."

P.S. Sorry, this is not an error. I have updated this subject matter, (4 of them) today the 3rd of November 2023. But it will reflect in and for the Month of October 2023. Sorry for the trouble. It helps me avoid confusions in my work.

Guidelines - A CALL - to reverent behaviour...

A Call to Reverent Behaviour was written at the start of the year. It was kept aside, with approval from Jesus. Jesus knowing the reason permitted me to write on something else for the time.
I am constantly learning with the grace of God and in the company of the Holy Spirit. In this journey, there is a learning curve, and i don't think the learning ever ends. In God's way of instructing there is much love and gentleness. Please remember, i too am constantly learning.

1) When in the Church, take a bow to the presence of Jesus in the Tabernacle and when entering the Prayer Room/Chapel for Eucharistic Adoration, if unable to genuflect-reverently bow.
Please refrain from any kind of talk near the Tabernacle. Please maintain Holy silence in the direct presence of Jesus.
2) Please do not touch the monstrance
There was this one time, i was at a retreat, and the Priest had given the charge i think to His people and the lay person, who was in charge told the women to come up and he says, "touch the hands and feet of Jesus". Then he called the men and told them to do the same. They all had their hands directly touching the Blessed Sacrament. I was literally shocked, because I was not open to such behaviour and i don't think that part of me will change. (Sorry! But, i believe there must be a point where we draw the line. No means no. Most lay people have no idea of how they must come in reverence to the Lord. I am of the opinion that people who are guiding others - must be made aware, certain guidelines given - or else we have the blind leading the blind, like in this retreat.) I was the only one who did not go up. That was my first and last retreat.

3) It is inappropriate to cross your legs, (simply because it is disrespectful) especially when: -
  • You are in the Church and or participating in the celebration of the mass.
  • During the Eucharistic Adoration in the Church or in the prayer room.
  • When holding/reading the Bible.
Note: To come in the presence of an earthly King, (not just anybody would be allowed to meet with the King) one is advised on how to behave, and one would need to follow certain protocols-guidelines. There would be no crossing one's leg before an earthly King.
Then pray tell me, why, would you be so disrespectful to a Holy Mighty God, Who is so wonderfully kind!
4) Be decently dressed at the celebration of the mass and in the Prayer room (Eucharistic Adoration).
For e.g. This lady lector during the offertory would bend down to pick the church offering bags. She was wearing mid-thigh skirt, and as such the more one bends, the more upwards, the skirt will go. This happened on more than one occasion. It is not good when this happens. We come to GOD and HOW must we come?
Remember: We are all important, and we set an example to each other.

5) Never eat, drink, in the Church or in the Prayer room
Don't make it a habit to drink water after you enter the Prayer Room. If thirsty, drink the water and then enter.
The habits we make are because we lack control and we lack reverence to God.
If you are thirsty in between, tell Jesus that you are. Of course, Jesus knows, but there is something else when you share that feeling with Jesus. Give it a try.

6) Cell phones to be on silent mode or switched off
Never have prayers saved on a cell. It is easy to get distracted and look at the incoming messages and you could forget you are in the presence of God. The same goes for answering calls, whether it is a second or not, it does not matter. When you answer the call in the prayer room/Chruch - you give in to the temptation.
I see people answer the call inside and come out and then continue with the talk on their cells. Who are we fooling? Seeing we do not see, hearing we do not hear. We must be truly blind and deaf!
And i will come straight to the point, you show no reverence to God at all.

7) Please be respectful of the Sanctuary
There are times when one needs to walk through to the Sacristy. Those are unavoidable for those who assist in the celebration of the mass. But other than that, one must avoid.
I see people walk up and down like there is no tomorrow. It is mostly used as a shortcut. Again, complete lack of reverence to all that is HOLY.

8) Please be respectful of the Sacristy
A sacristy is a sacred space - a room in the church where the Priest gets vested for the celebration of the mass.
The Sacristy must never be an entry point to the Church during off hours, because then people just walk in and enter the Chruch through the Sanctuary and then walk up to the Sanctuary and out of the Sacristy. And this is an ongoing behaviour. Sometimes, children just run through. This is a complete breakdown of reverence to God!
The sacristy is where all objects that are holy and are needed for celebrating the Mass; the Priestly vestments, and the Church sacred vessels including the monstrance are kept. Therefore, it becomes a Sacred – Holy place and must be treated as such.
On a particular occasion in the Church, there were some men helping with the Church display. And on one particular day, i noticed these men were eating wada pav/samosa pav in the Sacristy. It was a bunch of them. That was sad. Many people are not aware of the holiness of the room. These men were giving off their time and actually helping. I don’t think they would knowingly do such things. But still, we ought to know about our Church and reverence to all things that are holy.
My brother was baptized in the Sacristy. This room holds the best of memories.
We are called to be HOLY!

Note: A few months back, a lady came into the Prayer Room, a little before I could leave for the day. She stood by the Blessed Sacrament; she took her folder and brought it into direct contact with our Lord and she kept holding it for a long time. I continued with my conversation with the Lord, not letting it distract me. But i still could see.
I get up when Jesus asks me to come to the door. And I see her answering calls while still in the Prayer Room. When she came out, she sat on the bench outside.
I completed my conversation with Jesus. Strangely without intending to, when passing by, I asked her, can I sit with you.
She said yes. And then she asked me is it because of the calls in the prayer room? I said no.
Then she asked me is it because of the folder. I said no.
Note: I asked her to think and answer, what would her behaviour be, if she were in the presence of a King or the President? I asked her would you eat fruits before a King or the President. Her answer was no. Then I lovingly showed her Jesus, I said here we are before a King, before the Son of God. She immediately kept her fruits in the bag. Then I pointed the note on the glass and on the wall Reading-Do not touch the monstrance. And I also gently advised her to never make calls or answer calls from the Prayer Room.
But sadly, she is not the only person to do so. I have seen so many people answer calls and speak from inside the Prayer room and then come out and speak. There is a total lack of reverence to God!
One woman comes to the prayer room only to answer messages as they come on her cell in the comfort of the A.C. It does not bother her in Whose presence she is. I wish she would sit in front but no, she will sit on the last seat.
For the good of their souls, I think people should leave their cells at home. But you know, I think people would die if their cells were not with them.
I am not hooked on to my cell and that is the grace of God. Honestly i could do without it. At one time, i wanted to shut it down completely. But my cousin put sense into me. I never carry my cell to Church ever. I don't wear a watch to the Church. When i enter and when i leave i look at the office watch-that is how i keep track of time. I am not saying Cell phones are bad, but when one comes to God one must leave the extra baggage at home (that is the cell) or either keep it on silent and forget about it until you are outside.
They are distractions to keep us from giving our all to God.
GOD IS MY ALL!

3rd of October 2023 A schoolgirl enters the prayer room. I am happy to see her. But even a child knows the Ac switch.
Later on, I saw this lady and i thought she was praying. Her mouth moved so much. And then minutes later, i saw the other lady-the same movements. And i realized, they were having a talking session in the prayer room in the comfort of the AC. (09.00 a.m.-09:30a.m.)
4th of October 2023 Same three ladies come at the same time as yesterday. They try switching on the AC but there is a problem. After 10-15 minutes of their talk time, I know, i can't stay out. So, i go in and sit. I am there two minutes, and they leave. I reach out to that lady's hand and say this is God here. She replies i know. I say yes, there is a difference in knowing and behaving.
The problem is our lack of discipline, our lack of reverence in the Church and Prayer Room
There are quite a number of people who only come because they can sit in an AC room for free. (As per what i have seen - A woman or A man in the prayer room come and switch on the A.C and either one sits for an hour--This is just an example.) Imagine most of the time the A.C runs for one person alone. And then if there are like these more people coming in solo, what happens?
Truthfully speaking, there must never be any comforts when one prays.
There is a lack of reverence to God. This kind of behaviour has crossed the line a long time back.

The cat closes its eyes when it sips milk from the bowl. Just because it has its eyes closed, the cat believes nobody else can see it.
We behave as if God is not present. Because we can’t see Him, we behave like He cannot see us. How truly blind we are. We have to believe He is! He watches over the sparrow; He watches over me. He knows the number of hair on my head. He knows everything about me.
Because there is one thing, I am sure of - nobody who answers the calls in the Prayer room are running the country. So, what is the hurry?
And even if they were, one has to set time aside to be with the Lord.
God has set His time eternally for us. We need to be like our Wonderful God! We need to imitate Jesus!

And when you pray, and you want to be heard-and you want to be answered, let your body feel the pain.
When you pray, comfort should be the farthest thing. It is good to make a sacrifice. It is good to be humble like our Lord. He does not sit before us in His Sovereign position, He is there as a Host held in a Monstrance. The Lord of Lords, The King of Kings waits for us to come to Him. How must we come; how must we behave? Certainly, we do not keep the AC for our Lord. God Himself sits as a wafer of Bread and we want the AC on. We can't leave our comforts. But He leads by example and we are so blind, not to want to see and understand.
For 33 years, Jesus lived being one of us.
He worked with Joseph His father, as a Carpenter. Jesus lived a life of Sacrifice even unto His Death. Even now Jesus is waiting for us! But we want our cells, oh and the A.C.

What i have written here, is all that i have seen. If i do not write, after knowing the truth and what God has made me understand then i become a part of all that is wrong. And that will do harm to my soul. I hurt for Jesus and i wish to help. But all i can do is write and pray. And then it's off my shoulders.
If we don’t learn now, PURGATORY will be a lifetime of learning.
We need to make amends to our lives. We need to understand what our reverence to God must be and how it in turn, turns our life around. With our lack of reverence to God, Purgatory will be a long-long time destination, with no A.C.
Desiring the best for each one of us, I would humbly ask that we learn it here and now, when there is still time. Later will be too long.

*Please remember-remember we are called to be Holy.
Lack of reverence to God will keep us in Purgatory for a very long time.
Let us help each other to build a stairway to Heaven!

Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make my heart, like unto Thine!

Eucharistic Adoration: 1 hour 35 minutes (Time in church 06:28-09:45)
These same three ladies come together today to the prayer room at the same time as yesterday (09:00 a.m.) They try switching the AC on but there is a problem with it. After 10-15 minutes, I know, i can't stay out and try to pray, while without intending their behavior is a mark of irreverence to Jesus. So, i go and sit in. Two minutes later they leave. The first lady as she moves out, I hold out to her hand and gently remind her that It is God, Who is here. She replies with 'I know'. 'I say yes, there is a difference in knowing and behaving'.
A single person will come sit in the prayer room for an hour or so with the AC switched on. They come at their time of comfort. I have seen many people do that and the reason i know is because it is i who when leaving, has to check if the A.C is switched off. They come try the different lights to suit their needs. Some will put all the lights on, (like it is a festival of lights) some other person will come and switch off one and try the other. It is disturbing what people do. But tell me is this at all prayer?
((Just a while back there was this lady who came with wearing home clothes i guess and she stood outside, I let her know that the door is open, for her to enter in. She went straight in. She did not look towards the fan, A.C or lights? She looked straight at Jesus. Her need was great. Now tell me, who would Jesus be most pleased with? Obviously, this lady. She came for Jesus and Jesus will satisfy her prayer.))
(I have learnt that the people who want to pray will always come. I remember in the inner prayer room, some of the women would sit on the floor and pray. There was no A/C and no such comforts. They would sit for long time and pray.)
The newer version of the Prayer room is extremely beautiful and extremely comfortable. But Prayer or Prayer life is never meant to be easy or comfortable.
But He leads by example, and we are so blind, not to want to see and understand.
For 33 years, Jesus lived being one of us.

I see people answer the call inside and come out and then continue with the talk on their cells. Who are we fooling?
Seeing we do not see, hearing we do not hear. We must be truly blind and deaf!
Thought: A true hearts prayer is built on SACRIFICE.

Jesus immediately says, you will walk to the Church as a sacrifice. I worry that i will be late. Jesus tells me, one second after i enter the Church, the mass will begin. I walk hurriedly but being ever so careful too.
As i enter the Church, the cantor makes some announcement. And because she does not have a list with her, she goes in. Fr. John enters in the next second. If i ever needed to be convinced that i hear God ever so clearly. Today i am fully convinced. 10th October-1010 - Gods Abundance.

PSALM 88
1 O Lord, my God, I call for help by day;
I cry out in the night before thee.
2 Let my prayer come before thee,
incline thy ear to my cry!
3 For my soul is full of troubles,
and my life draws near to Sheol.
4 I am reckoned among those who go down to the Pit;
I am a man who has no strength,
5 like one forsaken among the dead,
like the slain that lie in the grave,
like those whom thou dost remember no more,
for they are cut off from thy hand.
6 Thou hast put me in the depths of the Pit,
in the regions dark and deep.
7 Thy wrath lies heavy upon me,
and thou dost overwhelm me with all thy waves. Selah
8 Thou hast caused my companions to shun me;
thou hast made me a thing of horror to them.
I am shut in so that I cannot escape;
9 my eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon thee, O Lord; I spread out my hands to thee.
10 Dost thou work wonders for the dead?
Do the shades rise up to praise thee? Selah
11 Is thy steadfast love declared in the grave,
or thy faithfulness in Abaddon?
12 Are thy wonders known in the darkness,
or thy saving help in the land of forgetfulness?
13 But I, O Lord, cry to thee;
in the morning my prayer comes before thee.
14 O Lord, why dost thou cast me off?
Why dost thou hide thy face from me?
15 Afflicted and close to death from my youth up,
I suffer thy terrors; I am helpless.
16 Thy wrath has swept over me; thy dread assaults destroy me.
17 They surround me like a flood all day long;
they close in upon me together.
18 Thou hast caused lover and friend to shun me;
my companions are in darkness.
Thought: God is in Control! Thank God! Because we are such wreckers, look at what we are doing to each other.
Come Jesus come!

Fr. Omar and Two Other Priest'.                            (3rd mass)
Funeral Mass-104 year old.   (100 in 2019).
I don't remember the name (Khait....just something close).
I felt like i saw Fr. Reuben in the Church. I knew it could not be. I was heading home. The Spirit of God tells me to go back to the Church. The mass had already begun. Jesus tells me to go to the Church and it was a serious calling. I sit way behind. (Because it is a funeral mass)
On participating i realize that this could be the person who celebrated his 100th birthday in 2019. Fr. Reuben did sing him a Birthday song. That is perhaps one of the many reasons i felt Fr. Reuben at the celebration of the mass. Also, the reason why the Spirit of God pulled me to the Church. (obviously, Fr. Reuben!)
On his 100th birthday and after the mass everyone stood in a line to wish him, including me.
I add the date of the mass below. It should be the same person. 104 with the year would be right.
29th September 2019.
10:15 am – Fr. Reuben, Fr. Joshua and Fr. Omar
A 100 years by age – birthday mass. Fr. Reuben sings a birthday song.
Thought: Don't let your emotions control you. Let God have the control of you.
THIS IS WHY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, GOT ME TO COME TO THE CHURCH. This is why i felt i saw Fr. Reuben. Look at the date in red below and then green above.
Both 29th September (2012) and (2019)

And Fr. Reuben celebrates the mass on the 29th of September 2019, 2020 and 2021. God wanted me to know this. I did not realize the day 29th September as the day of The Archangels. Even in the article UNFORGETABLE Memories, i have not mentioned The Archangels. This is a big failure from my point of view-this is my failure.
In my mind it was always the 24th of October. How truly blind could i be? If God did not pull me to the Church, this would just have skipped.

I love Fr. Reubens voice, when He speaks or sings. I love to listen, and it is always so amazing. I love listening to this song-it gets me to a new HIGH. And today, as i hear it once again, this immediate rush of thoughts come in and Jesus urges me to stop and write down. I do and i am always amazed with God and His ways! And His ways with Fr. Reuben Tellis.
Once i am done, Jesus lets me listen to Fr. Reuben-He has such warmth in His voice.

1 Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways!
2 You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Lo, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.
5 The Lord bless you from Zion!
May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life!
6 May you see your children’s children!
Peace be upon Israel!

Today, I had prayed being in such deep thought. I pleaded with Jesus asking Jesus to come, because my entire self is exhausted. There is no energy left in me. And this is Jesus - His response of Love.
Thought: God works in AMAZING ways! Our GOD is AWESOME!

This lady comes in, she switches on the Gospel quotes light display. At first she reads them, then she starts clicking one by one. She stands right in the middle of the room, so there is nothing one can do but be a silent witness to all this.
Truthfully speaking, all the quotes are in the Bible. Before clicking the snaps, i felt she was speaking with someone on the cell.
And obviously she is from Mt. Carmel's itself. For she knew which buttons to switch on for the Gospel quotes.
Jesus is right in front. And there are some people who are more focused on the light display, they will try different lights on. So Blind they are, they can't see Jesus. How blind can one be
Jesus is right in front-Jesus is the light of the World, and they want bright lights to see Jesus. I can't believe what i see sometimes.
This woman, whoever she is, was more focused on the Gospel quotes because it is fancy lights. How utterly hopeless and shallow is our faith.
Thought: Lord, have mercy on us.

Jesus tells me to look at every one, the way He does. And i know Jesus loves everyone. He is so sweet and gentle. Jesus loves me!
Jesus, You are my whole World.
Thought: Love will always find a way! Love will always find a way! Love will always find a way! You are my Destiny!
Come Jesus come!
