My People,

Good Morning! I am truly sorry, I know i did mention in my last letter, that i would have this letter posted in December. But there are things that happen, and there are things we learn! From all that i am learning i can say this:
Through Christ in the strength, courage and confidence He gives us, we can accomplish anything.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
Say it out loud, I CAN.

This is a beautiful song - Weather Any Storm - By Cody Francis. I ask you to listen. You will love it.

When we wake
Hear the birds and see the sun
Side by side our fears are done
Oh the good times just begun

Oh, we know what we have
Let's hold on tight
Found what we're looking for in life
Call us crazy but things are finally right
With you and I the future is bright

Oh, you and I we got it
Oh, we don't need no more
Oh, even in the hard times
You and I can weather any storm

Before sleep
Hear the crickets, see the moon
Side by side and through and through
No limit to what we can do

Oh, we know what we have
Let's hold on tight
Found what we're looking for in life
Call us crazy but things are finally right
With you and I the future is bright

Oh, you and I we got it
Oh, we don't need no more
Oh, even in the hard times
You and I can weather any storm

Sometimes, all it takes is one gesture, one word, to change the course of someone's life.

This is my life; these are my experiences and God's Amazing Grace!

Memory
My 1st Birthday! My mum makes me walk on the Dining Table. She is holding my hand, and I remember I cry out of fear. It makes no sense, right!
When I was 10-month-old, I fell from a height, my mother had kept me there as she was dressing up. Initially as there was no response, my mum has me checked by a doctor, who says I am okay.
My mother leaves me with an Egyptian caretaker, who I used to call mama. Later that day, she calls my mum and tells her that I have been crying and I had become blue as I would not stop. My mother then takes me to her company hospital, where the doctor says there is a slight fracture on my right hand. He put a cast and I was well after that. (My mum fills me, on these details.)
Going back to my 1st birthday, I as a person now, know why I am crying as a 1-year-old. The one year in me knows but I can’t explain it to my mother. I can see the depths from the table, and it scares me. And my mum is completely ignorant of what I am crying about. She insists that I walk. And I remember being completely terrified.
But I also remember the Bright flame from the Big White Candle on my Birthday Cake. And the flame is what I could see even when I was crying.
No matter how bad a storm is and how frightened we are, we must never let our eyes off Jesus. Jesus is the Light of the World.
This to me, has been a Light-House experience in my life!

My first time to Juhu Beach, I will never forget that day. I was six years old. I have never seen these many people in one place. It’s overcrowded.
I was inquisitive to see what is beyond. I kept walking and realizing after some time, that I had walked and not reached anywhere, I turned to look for my mom. I am unable to see her. I start crying. I am scared. I don’t know for how long I cried and kept moving. And then I stopped looked all over and one cop in plain clothes, suddenly, caught my hand and told me he will take me to my mom. And he did.
I don’t remember anything after I saw my mom.
But I remember one thing, after this incident, if someone ever told me not to open a door, I never did. If someone told me don’t do a certain thing. I never did. I learnt it never pays being inquisitive. A lesson I never intend to forget.
I do what God tells me, whatever and wherever His Grace leads me. Always, to do, what He has in His Will for me.
It is God, Who made a Cop find me and bring me home. I will never forget Gods Wonderfulness. Abba watched over me.
Here I am, Lord, I come to do Your Will!

Growing up I had 3 SuperHeroes
I always saw Jesus in my dreams! My first, SuperHero. Always with the most beautiful smile, a dream I always cherish.
I always loved to hear Fr. Joe sing. To what I remember, He was so passionate about the Eucharistic Adoration. He gave His best. He sang to perfection. There are some hymns that I have not forgotten. And when I close my eyes, I can still hear the roaring echo in the Church, long after the years have passed. That is the height of His Passion to Jesus. Nobody, like Fr. Joe.
There were times, I would dream to stand near Fr. Joe. But it never happened. My uncle would bring us to Church, and we would sit way behind. One day at Fr. Joes mass and at communion time, I tried walking to Fr. Joe, but He was already walking towards the stairs. He did not see me come.
(I learnt this very early on in life and a very important lesson, to wait for my turn.)
The second instance- In the morning and on my way to school, (Mt. Mary's), near to the office, that is side to the Church, I saw Fr. Joe speaking to another Priest. And I saw Him from close that was truly a blessing. It would be a dream to wish Fr. Joe ‘Good Morning’, but I saw He was really engrossed. He was. I passed Him by.
Third instance, when Fr. Joe had come home. It was a Thursday, my brothers' holiday. My brother, Adrian, was home. I learnt from him that Fr. Joe had come. That day was difficult for me. So, I closed that part in my head.
Just 3 years back when I was in Mangalore, my mom was cleaning my dad’s stuff. I saw one of my letters addressed to my parents. I opened the letter and there was a handwritten last name Fr. Pereira. I struggled for a matter of time, who Fr. Pereira could be, and I read everything in the letter. Then like a flash of lightning, I remembered Fr. Joe had come home and back then I addressed Him as Fr. Pereira.
And in 2008, when I did come to Mt. Carmel, it was one of the days when I heard Fr. Joe celebrate His mass. I know I had tears in my eyes, because this was Gods wonder.
From all of my experiences, I learnt that I must do things only when God permits me. In 2019 December, God permitted me, and I made my confession with Fr. Joe. What a truly wonderful day that was.
Every time, I would want to write... Yesterday, the 7th of February, Jesus permitted me to write on Fr. Joe. So, in all obedience, I write on one of my SuperHeroes.
He was always passionate about the Eucharistic Adoration. It was beautiful to watch and beautiful when I think of it. I still remember, what it meant watching Fr. Joe as a kid. I carry those memories with me.
My third, superhero was Super Man. His mission-always to save anyone in distress. Always to the rescue.

Eucharistic Adoration Priests: -
Fr. Ashlyn would always say come and sit before Jesus. No matter what your situation is or feels like, come and sit before Jesus. He would insist when saying, ‘Come and sit before Jesus.
Fr. Ashlyn had back then introduced on Mondays a 3-hour Adoration in the Church. Yes, it was long. But i learnt a lot.
YES: Come and sit! Come!
During the pandemic, Fr. Reuben had made 2 videos, which were an hour each, of the Eucharistic Adoration which were so beautiful. There were other Eucharistic Adoration videos too. But to me, the 1-hour Adoration videos were everything. Jesus strengthened me.
Fr. Reuben kept it simple. He has an exceptional voice. Every time I hear Fr. Reuben sing, it is unexplainable! unexplainable! unexplainable!
I am thankful to God for all His many graces.

FACTS
In one of my dreams, there was this evil woman who kept punching me really bad. When I woke up from my sleep, there was a terrible pain, after having being punched. To me it was not just a dream.
One day, on entering my room, I got punched on my eye. The punch was forceful. I immediately called on Padre Pio, while all the time, holding my eye. I went near the mirror praying. There was terrible pain, because the punch was really bad. But when i looked at the mirror, my eye looked 100% good. I looked for anything in the room that could have hit me that bad. But I could find nothing.
When in College, I had gotten this lump on my left of the throat. It had gotten big. Two weeks and it was still the same. I went to the family doctor who advised me immediately to go to the M.D. whose name he had given me. So the next morning we went to the doctor, he told me that it could be T.B. and so I would need to get admitted in the hospital as he would have to perform a surgery. I wore Our Lady of Lourdes Rosary and went to college. The next morning when I woke up, the lump had completely disappeared. Mama Mary had saved me-Our Lady of Lourdes had rescued me. I was completely, miraculously, healed.

2 Corinthians 6:2 “Now is the time of God’s favor.”
NOW is the time God wants to amaze us with His goodness.
When you have a faith filled with expectation, you will see God show up in amazing ways.
WAIT with Expectancy — believe in your heart that God can make it happen today!

In Dreams
Mont-Saint-Michel:- In one of my dreams, I have been to this place in France. A few months after my brother Adrians death in 2005, I and my brother Adrian had been there. I remember getting off the bus.
When I woke from my dream, I did not know if this place ever existed. A few months after the dream, I saw this picture in the yahoo page as an advertisement. I was totally amazed at the accuracy of which I saw the place.
Up to that moment, I never knew the place ever existed.
Le passage du gois:- Just the last year, 2022, in my dreams I suddenly landed in the middle of the road, with the sea on both the sides. Luckily the sea was not roaring. But the water was coming up on both the sides. And we could not see the road going ahead. I told the driver, take it back, because we could see the road backwards. But as I was speaking, we could see vehicles coming up behind us, and people advised us to walk it up, leaving the vehicles just there. At which point my dream broke.
This happens to be in France again.
I don’t know how I am connected with these two places. Only God knows? Everything is always up to God!

In one of my dreams, years back, I dreamt I was unable to enter my parents’ home in Mangalore. I had not been to Mangalore for a long time.
My dad had come for the holidays, I thought, I need to let my dad know of my dream and ask him why I could not enter from a particular spot. My dad tells me he had a new gate built in that spot. To me in my dreams, it was invisible, and it was the only thing that stopped me from entering.

Numbers
Of all the gifts, this is also an amazing gift of God. And I have been able to see numbers take shape since a very long time.
But the formation of numbers, started in December 2022. I was just thinking on a particular question and when I looked around all the answers to my questions were in numbers and coming in a systematic order. It was beautiful to my mind and to my eyes.
Amazing and Awesome is our God!
I got my answer, in a series of numbers, and everything confirming my question. How truly amazing our God is!
And then from that moment on, the answers are always coming in a series. They always were coming, 1 at a time, but now it is  beautiful and unbelievable.

1221
I would see this on my cell all the time. Never understood what it actually meant.
I knew it was a reminder. But at the time, I did not understand what it did mean?
Now I know,
ABBA = 1221 (Each alphabet, A=1 and B=2)
ABBA, my Father was reminding me that He was with me. Now I Am Joyous!
Abba Father, changed my life that day in the month of May-June when I was 9. I will forever sing the wonderfulness of God. It takes one word to change a person’s life. Abba Father, called me by my name. Abba changed my life forever. Nothing will ever be the same.

In the scriptures God is called “The Great I Am,”
God is with us in the present...right now.
Today is a new day — a new opportunity!
Let us not lose sight of the fact that God wants to do something great in our lives today.

The Great I Am! 2

What you speak?
Each person defines himself/herself according to the situation and circumstances they find themselves in.
More often than not, we will come across people who speak in the negative about themselves.
What you speak is what your life will become.
Words have power.
If you’re always talking about how you’re stuck in a situation, how you can’t find a way out, how you never get lucky, chances are you will experience what you have spoken over time.
Stop the negative emotions and stop speaking negative over your life.

I have noticed it often, that most people are stuck in the past. They always speak of how God in the past worked wonders in their life. God is not just of yesterday. God is HERE and NOW!
Don’t be stuck in the past. Move onward. Trust that God is not done with you.
Remember everything the good Lord has done.
People say: My best days are behind me
With the Grace of God we need to say: My best is yet to come!

Every time you speak BLESSINGS over yourself, your belief grows stronger.
IT is - I become what I speak.
Words matter. Be cautious with your words.
Speak your dreams into existence.
BELIEVE and TRUST those Blessings are coming.

REMEMBER WORDS have Power!
REMEMBER-Remember: The BIBLE is The Word of God! READ and let the Word of God move you!

Who am I?
Seriously, one needs to ask this of themselves. Am I letting myself down? Do I let peoples judgements get to me? Am I allowing the words people speak over my life affect me?
Many a times, people in general utter mean things that could break us or hurt us deeply.
Parents tend to falsely praise one child, while letting down the other. There is always a biased behaviour. Parents are meant to bless their children, and more often than not, they speak words of defeat over their children.
Some children speak their hurt and some bury it deep within. Children understand, they don’t always speak. And some grow rebellious. And some as grown adults, carry negativism in them (Deep hurt, Deep pain, and a lot of anguish).

Parents are the first contact and the main influence in the behaviours of their children.
And most of all behaviours is learnt from 1-7. I think we can safely say, every behaviour is learnt and mostly comes from the home.
Then as an adult do I define, who I am from what I have learnt from my parents or others?
If my definition of self comes from what people called me: Then it would go like this --
I don’t think I am good enough.
I am worthless.
I can do nothing right.
Everything I do goes the other way.
I fail at everything I try.
This pattern of thinking needs a change. Change this concept of yourself. Stop limiting yourself.

How do you define God?
I would say, GOD is love!
God created us out of the Love of His Heart!
God sent His only Beloved Son to die on the Cross – for the love of us!
God’s Divine nature is LOVE!
Love It Was That Made Us
Love it was that made us
And it was love that saved us
Love was God’s plan, when He made man
God’s Divine Nature is Love.
Born of God’s love we must love Him
That’s why He made us to love Him.
But only when we love all men
Can we partake of God’s love.
Love is a wonderful thing
Joy in our hearts it will bring,
Where there’s true love there is God,
And where there’s God there is Love.
Christ said: Love must be a sign
By which men will know you are mine,
A new commandment I give,
Each other love as I did

Dealing with negative circumstances can make us question God’s plan and purpose for our life.
It is in these times of disappointment that we need to remember who we are and whose we are and how valuable we are to God. As a child of God, our identity is in Jesus Christ. We cannot let circumstances define us.
Psalm 100:3 - Know that the Lord is God! It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
And when we know who we are, we can endure even the toughest of times.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
God sacrificed His only Son Jesus for us, to die a criminal’s death on the Cross. Jesus gave His life for you and for me.

When we know whose we are, it changes everything.
Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am
Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth!”
I AM is the self-definition of God.
I AM is continuous and defines Authority and Power of GOD!
And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:32
When you know who you truly are in Christ, it is a season of miracles.
People no matter how talented, they often worry about the other person’s talents. God has gifted each person with amazing talents. And the more you know of God, the more you are filled with graces that bring in abundance of talents and blessings.
There is no room for jealousy or envy.
Come! Sit with Jesus! (At the celebration of the mass and the Eucharistic Adoration)
Know your identity in God!

Instead of believing others are born with special gifts –KNOW that you are capable of anything.
I AM! These are two of the most powerful words.
Every day, say:
I am one of God’s beautiful creations, created in His image and likeness.
I am redeemed through the blood of Jesus and forgiven of all my sins.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I am unshakable in God and in Him I am able to withstand the storms of life.
I am an overcomer. I walk by faith and not by sight.
I am blessed with and in the grace of God.
I am surrounded by blessings.
I am healthy, strong and fit.
I am full of energy.
I am committed.
I am faithful.
I am determined.
I am a child of The Most High God!
I (am and) can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me.

When you Believe and speak your words, they become words that move mountains. But this faith filled words must come with complete reliance on God.
God is the creator of our destiny; we need to: -
speak our words with faith
Speak our dreams into existence, speak as if they are.
Speak our words into our prayers to God.
Speak with a heart of love and choose to be happy at all times.

Believe in your dreams! Believe in God, Who will bring your dreams to fruition.
Believe not just today but – every single day.
Believe that God can do the IMPOSSIBLE!
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
The most important aspect of a prayer is to know that we already have what we prayed for. And it must come from the heart.
To feel the joy of knowing your prayer has been answered comes from a place of trust in The Almighty God.
Matthew 7:7 is very clear, Ask and it will be given. No room for doubts!

God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him forever in heaven.
I am an expression of God’s love.

Help each other to live and to grow in the Christian faith so as to be valiant witnesses of the Lord. Be united, but not closed. Be humble, but not fearful. Be simple, but not naive. Be thoughtful, but not complicated. Enter into dialogue with others but be yourselves.
Pope Benedict XVI

With all my love,
For LOVE PREVAILS!
AnitA.

PRAYER: Abba, Father, keep me obedient and always faithful. Remember, this your servant.
Mama Mary keep me humble, I pray. Amen.

Prayer for the souls in PURGATORY:- Our Lord dictated this prayer to St. Gertrude the Great to release 1,000 Souls from Purgatory each time it is said.
"Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen."

DO!!! In Remembrance of ME!

And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or not. Deuteronomy 8:2
This command of Moses-Remember!
Moses reiterates: Do not forget the Lord, your God.

Jesus said: “Do this in remembrance of me” 1 Corinthians 11:24. Do!
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus conquered sin and death and reconciled us to God. The Eucharist is the memorial of this sacrifice.
Jesus approaches us gently, offering Himself to us, inviting us to draw closer to Him!
The celebration of the Mass heals the wounds within us and strengthens our resolve in God. The Eucharistic Adoration continues the work of the Mass within us.
Do this in Memory of me is a Call to Action

LUKE 23:42-43 And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
At the Last Supper Jesus gives a new commandment: “Do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19

LUKE 23:42 And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
If you look a little deeply, you will see the criminal partook in that Holy celebration of the mass, there on Good Friday!

Jesus was nailed to the Cross. The criminal crucified next to Jesus asks Him, if He would remember him, when they would both be on the other side of death.
His simple but most powerful words, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” The criminal asks for mercy, he asks for Jesus to remember.
And Jesus remarkably answers him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
We do know, that this criminal-thief turned to Jesus. And Jesus, dying Himself, answered with generosity.
When going through difficult times—there could be times, when we feel that Jesus doesn’t really care. At these times, we need to remember the criminal-thief on the cross and how Jesus responded to him.
Prayer:-Forgive me, Lord, for not counting on your mercy. Forgive me, Lord, for the times I failed.

We think the celebration of the mass, is just praying for our needs or for the souls in Purgatory.
But the truth is that every mass is a celebration and how truly blessed we are when we realize the vast infinite goodness of God in giving us the key to Heaven. Remember Jesus words, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
Imagine, the infinite graces we receive when we truly repent and come to God in the celebration of the mass.
We are forgiven immediately. And being with Jesus in His suffering, participating in that celebration of the mass gives us in the words of Jesus, Himself, PARADISE!

I have heard, people question another person's level of integrity. While it may not be a strong characteristic point, who can know another person. And yet they will say, if the person never changes, what is the use of that person going every day to Church. We don’t know, we don’t truly understand, but yes, we like to assume that we know it all.
What they mean to say, is, it was better that person never went. For they believe that when one goes to Church daily, one can do no wrong. But you know, we are not to judge. And I have not ever met anyone who has not ever made a mistake. God’s grace is what saves us.
And truly at the celebration of the mass, the grace of God awaits us in abundance. When we leave this world, we will come into the presence of Jesus, there it will be counted to us the number of times, we partook in the celebration of the mass and the infinite graces we received.
Therefore, at the celebration of the mass, remember the good thief and these words of his, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (*Remember he had faith and he dared to ask*)
And Jesus’s promise is there at that celebration of the mass, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
God is FAITHFUL!
When I am before Jesus, I say, Remember me Lord!

Today, the 20th of November, Jesus lets me understand-
Every mass avails of graces, we do not truly understand. INFINITE!

REMEMBER – REMEMBER: Come for every celebration of the mass. Come be with Jesus! For every mass you participate in, does wonders to your soul. It does to mine.

The Holy Eucharist

Christ instituted the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, the night before He died.
The fulfillment of The Promise (John 6:48-59) took place at the Last Supper (The Institution). Please continue to read...
SCRIPTURE:
1: The Promise
I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.” The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever.” This he said in the synagogue, as he taught at Caper′na-um. John 6:48-59

2: The Institution
Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:26-28
And as they were eating, he took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, and they all drank of it. And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. Mark 14:22-24
And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after supper, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. Luke 22:19-20
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

Christ instituted the Holy Eucharist in this way:
He took bread, blessed and broke it, and giving it to His apostles, said: "Take and eat; this is My body;"
then, He took a cup of wine, blessed it, and giving it to them, said: "All of you drink of this; for this is My blood of the new covenant which is being shed for many unto the forgiveness of sins;"
finally, He gave His apostles the commission: "Do this in remembrance of Me."

ABOUT THE SACRIFICE OF THE MASS
The Holy Eucharist is a sacrament and a sacrifice.
The power to offer The Mass is the greatest power of a Catholic Priest.
Christ is truly present in the Holy Eucharist.
The word "Eucharist" means Thanksgiving.
The more fervently one participates in the celebration of the Mass, the more graces will one receive.

but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues for ever. Consequently he is able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:24–25
In every celebration of the Mass Jesus Christ, offers Himself to His Heavenly Father, through His Priest.
Jesus continually lives to make intercession for us, offering to the Father, on our behalf, Himself, on the Cross.
💠On the Cross Christ alone offered Himself. In the Mass He offers Himself through His Priest.
💠Jesus paid the price for our redemption. Jesus, in the Mass, applies to us the merits of His Sacrifice on the Cross.
💠The best method of assisting at Mass is to unite with the Priest in offering the Holy Sacrifice (the response below), and to receive Holy Communion.
After the Offertory
The Priest"Pray, brethren, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Father Almighty."
Our ResponseMay the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of His name, for our good and the good of all His holy Church.

When we are in The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we are participating in the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary but in a bloodless manner.
(In the Mass the Principal Priest and the Victim is the same, Jesus Christ.) The Benefits - which continue into eternity.
On the Cross Christ physically shed His Blood and Died.
In the celebration of the Mass there is no shedding of blood, there is no death. Christ can die no more!

The appearances of bread and wine remain in the Holy Eucharist, we can see Christ only with the eyes of faith.
Christ made the Apostles Priests at the Last Supper by saying to them: "Do this in remembrance of Me."
When a Priest pronounces the words of Eucharistic consecration at Mass, the bread and wine, by the power of the Holy Spirit, are changed into the Body and Blood of Christ, which were given for us in sacrifice.
The change of the entire substance of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ is called Transubstantiation.
When the Priest pronounces the words of Eucharistic consecration, He is said to do so in the Person of Christ. It is Christ speaking through the words of His Priest, “This is my Body,” and “This is my Blood.”
The Old Testament sacrifices could never take away sins, but the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross DOES. We participate in this sacrifice when we participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Jesus gave us Himself in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist; He gave us His Body and Blood as Food for our souls.
To receive Holy Communion worthily it is necessary to be free from mortal sin.
To receive more abundantly the graces of Holy Communion we should strive to be most fervent and to free ourselves from deliberate venial sin.
After Holy Communion, we must thank Jesus for coming into our hearts. We must pray to Jesus, for blessings for ourselves and others.
We should be Thankful to Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist-Blessed Sacrament, by visiting Him often, by our reverence in Church and by our reverence in the Prayer (Adoration) Room.
Jesus humbles Himself because He loves us. Jesus’ love urges us to love everyone.

The chief effects of a worthy Holy Communion are:
first: a closer union with Our Lord and a more fervent love of God and of our neighbour;
second: an increase of sanctifying grace;
third: preservation from mortal sin and the remission of venial sin;
fourth: the lessening of our inclinations to sin and the help to practice good works.
It is wonderful to receive Holy Communion often, even daily, because this intimate union with Jesus Christ, is the greatest aspect of our life.

Paul in Galatians 2:20 says: I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Jesus comes into our heart to strengthen us and to be with us in our struggles and in our journey through life.
As we come to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, He will give us the grace and strength that we need.

Jesus in Matthew 11:28 says - Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Eucharistic Adoration - Talk to God

What is Eucharistic Adoration?
Adoration is a quiet time spent in prayer before Jesus, present in the Eucharist. It is the graces dispensed by God to help us grow in Him.
Be encouraged to spend your time with the Lord, to be in His presence and encounter His love. We need to do what draws us ever closer to our Lord.
Jesus truly is present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Consecrated Host - "Blessed Sacrament".
There is no cross that any one of us carries which cannot be lightened by the grace and mercy of Christ.

"So, could you not watch with me one hour?" Matthew 26:40.
Christ loves us to the point of dying on the Cross for us. Therefore, we come with humility by acknowledging our need for, and dependence upon Jesus.
Jesus awaits us in this Sacrament of Love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in Adoration.
When we come to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, it is in itself a prayer of faith. Jesus will give you His peace as you spend time with Him.

During Eucharistic AdorationTalk to God!
Simply spend time in a silent heart-to-heart conversation with Jesus. Speak to Jesus whatever is in your heart. Speak to Him your fears, your hopes, your desires, and your joys.
God truly listens. He truly responds. In the quiet of your heart, listen to Him. Allow Jesus to work on you and through you. Take time to be alone with Jesus.
And you will find JOY, like you've never known before.

Eucharistic Adoration - St. P. J. Eymard

“There is nothing greater or holier we can do on earth than Eucharistic adoration” St. Peter Julian Eymard.

Eucharistic adoration is our Faith in the hidden Jesus veiled in the Sacred host.
The Holy Eucharist is Jesus’ Gift to us.
St. Julian Eymard urged people to come, receive Jesus in the Eucharist with love. Spend time in prayer before Him and spread the love of Jesus.
In his words: “Go to the good Lord very simply, with the surrender of a small child. Tell the good Lord what you are thinking, what you want, what is upsetting you. O how happy we become when we discover this interior conversation with our Lord! We carry our treasure everywhere. He becomes the center of our heart and life.”
His thought: Our whole life ought to be drawn to the Eucharist like a magnet. Proclaim that the Eucharist is the sacrament of love, the goal of Christian perfection, and the means as well as the model of religious life.
“The Blessed Sacrament is everything!”

EUCHARISTIC MEDITATION as explained-St. P. J. Eymard
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.        Matthew 5:3
How admirable is the poverty of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament where He deprives Himself of all glory, of all freedom and where He depends on the charity of man and is at his mercy! That is true love!
Our Lord relied for everything on the power of His Father.
We shall practise poverty quite naturally and make it our condition. We shall want to depend on God for everything:
On His light for our mind,
On His grace for our will,
On His love for our heart,
On His Cross for our body.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

I always share with Jesus my innermost thoughts. Jesus speaks with me, and Jesus is always gentle in His ways.
When Jesus speaks, your heart desires to hear Him. You will make time to be with Him. His words are tender. God keeps me simple!
Jesus, He is the King of my Heart!
The time we spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time ever. Each moment with Jesus brings untold graces.
O Christ, let me glorify Your love and mercy to the last breath of my life.

In the words of St. Alphonsus Liguori - “Know also that you will probably gain more by praying fifteen minutes before the Blessed Sacrament than by all the other spiritual exercises of the day. True, Our Lord hears our prayers anywhere, for He has made the promise, ‘Ask, and you shall receive,’ but He has revealed to His servants that those who visit Him in the Blessed Sacrament will obtain a more abundant measure of grace.”

Excerpts from St. Peter Julian Eymard
LET US LOVE THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
  • “Love our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament with all the intensity of love.”
  • “The heart leaps towards the Blessed Sacrament… the heart would burst its walls of flesh, if it could, to unite itself more intimately to our Lord.”
  • “Look at the saints. Their love makes them suffer. It sets them on fire; a fire that consumes them…”
  • “We must love the Good God beyond all measures….”
  • “'I must come to visit Him. I must not leave Him alone; He loves me too much!'”
  • “But with the Eucharist, we must abide and live in our Lord!”
  • “Come! Let us forget ourselves and give ourselves to this good Saviour? Let us sacrifice ourselves a bit!”

THE EUCHARIST OUR WAY
  • “Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is the unchanging way to holiness. In the Blessed Sacrament Jesus is the model of every virtue…”
  • “There is nothing as beautiful as Jesus in the Eucharist. Our Lord Lives and acts in the Eucharist. Look at Him, study Him, and imitate Him. ... as we grow to know His voice better, and our hearts become more detached and more in sympathy with Him, our Lord reveals Himself in a clearer light and with an intimacy known only to those who love Him.”
  • “All our virtues must come from the Eucharist. For instance, if you wish to practice humility; see how Jesus practices it in the Blessed Sacrament. Start with this…”
  • “Self-abasement-(meaning--behaving in a very humble manner) is a characteristic of Eucharistic holiness”.

Today, it was most difficult to come to Church. I was extremely tired. I found it difficult to breathe. This has been happening since a couple of days. I have come to understand that the weather is sometimes bad.
It takes me normally 10-12 minutes to reach the Church. But when I have asthma, it takes me 15-20 minutes from home. I stop 4-5 times on the way.
On my way to the Church, I did not want to use my inhaler. But the vehicle was taking a turn and that would take a minute. I realized God wanted me to stop and inhale.
I did and then walking was much better.
I thought after mass, I would go home, I was extremely tired, because it was difficult to breathe. On not hearing from Jesus, I thought i could go. But then near the tabernacle, I heard Jesus call me. Jesus asked me to sit for some time.
I was there 15 minutes. As there was no light, i thought i would sit for some more time. But being sick and my mind not working as it should, I thought it would be better to go home and sleep, which i did.
Jesus is always with me and around me.

Today, in the prayer room, Jesus asks me to come again in the evening for just 5-10 minutes. I say, yes Jesus. In the evening when walking the passage way, I see the light in Fr. Joe's room on, and I keep wishing that it is Fr. Joe. And how delighted I am just to catch a glimpse of Him.
After the last mass, I stand before Jesus and I ask Jesus do I stop writing, what do I do? Do I not mention the mass celebrations i participate in? Because the Gospel says, Your right hand should not know what your left hand does. I say, You know Jesus I believe in those words very strongly.
Jesus strongly insists that i continue to write.

When speaking with Jesus, today again i ask Jesus about my writing. And Jesus says, you will continue to write. When I stand before-with Jesus, Jesus will always remind me immediately to go to Mama and then come and sit with Him. Reason being I love speaking with Mama.
(Sometimes, I see Mama's beautiful smile, i see her beautiful eyes, sometimes I see her move. But they are glimpses, for a few seconds. But those glimpses, fill my heart with such contentment that the whole day seems like a day in Paradise.)
So, I ask Mama, what do i do about my writing. Mama Mary replies, Jesus has asked you to continue writing. Then as a mother knows the heart of her child, Mama Mary explains, people write of celebrations, you are writing that which is necessary to the human soul. Continue to write.
When in the prayer room, Jesus says, no blessing will ever fall short on you. Do not worry for that. You are doing it with my approval.
Jesus loves me so much!
Today, I get to wish Fr. Joe a 'Good Morning'. How beautiful it truly is.
