Abide with Me . . . . .

When people face challenges, they seek comfort in things that are familiar. True comfort is found in a personal relationship with God in heaven through His Son, Jesus.

I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who abides in Me while I abide in him produces much fruit. John 15:5

God wants you to abide in Him and rely on Him for everything. He wants to be your source for strength, provision, hope and joy. God wants you to rely on Him for your very existence.
Abiding in God begins by meditating on Him and His Word. Make Him your number one priority. When you are connected to God, everything you set your hand to will be fruitful and blessed. Abide in Him and let Him pour out His abundant favour and blessing on you all the days of your life.

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. Proverbs 12:25

When you see someone having to struggle, our words can be what can keep a person going; our compliments can put a spring back into their step. We need to let the encouragement flow. We need to tell people how much we love and value them. We have to be generous with our compliments. Always remember, with your words you carry life-giving water. You carry hope, healing, encouragement and new beginnings, and you can pour it out everywhere you go.
Don’t be the one to point out peoples faults, and don’t ridicule people. Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. Focus on the good. There are already enough critical, judgmental people in the world. Let’s be people who lift up others and restore them. Build people with your words. Let’s be the light of Jesus in the world.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God...  1 Peter 4:11

When you reach out to someone, when you’re kind and speak encouragement, God’s voice is blended with your voice. Your words become His words. That’s why you can say something as simple as ‘You look beautiful’ or ‘You can make it,’ and it becomes a sentence that impacts the life of another person. To you it’s nothing. But when spoken the words that come out are blessed by God and they become life giving words. Let your words be used to bring life, hope and blessing. Speak as the oracles of God and be His mouthpiece everywhere you go.

REMEMBER: You are God’s voice on His green earth. When you speak to others, declare what God would say about them. Today, choose to speak encouragement. Choose to speak victory and faith. Choose to be a blessing to everyone. And yes most important of all, Love with all your heart.

Prayer: From my heart to yours, I wish you God’s Love and Peace.

Finish Strong

Martin Luther King, Jr. was an amercian-clergyman and prominent leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. These lines are taken from his last speech before he was assassinated. Here Martin Luther King Jr. states:
“I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised-land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised-land. So I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm, not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord."
It was a difficult time for Martin Luther King Jr. and he was also aware of the attempt that would be made on his life. Yet he spoke of wanting to do God’s will. He felt no fear. And there was this tremendous belief in God, and he knew, that God would deliver.

Often, people allow the opinions of others to hold them back and water down their dreams. We have to realize, there will always be critics in life. One of the most important things you can learn is that other people don’t have to believe in you, or set limits in order for your dreams to come to pass.  When God puts a promise in your heart, it’s up to you to bring it to pass. You have to follow the voice of God for yourself and allow Him to order your steps.
Friend, God sees the hidden treasures inside of you. He wants to bring those treasures out and make your dreams a reality. Get rid of the old, defeated thoughts. There are no limits to what God can do. There are endless possibilities to a God of Impossibles.
What if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?  Romans 3:3

We all have times when our plans don't work out. It's easy to get frustrated and fight against everything that doesn't go our way. There is something called divine interruption where God, on purpose, will delay us to protect us. On purpose, He will close a door because it's not His best. Sometimes, God will allow us to be inconvenienced so we can help someone else in need. We have to be willing to press through difficulty so we can be at the right place at the right time.
The next time you're interrupted or inconvenienced, don't start thinking, "This is a pain." No, get a new perspective. Look for what God wants to do. Trust God today because He is directing your steps.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6

Oftentimes, when we have a dream in our heart, we start off strong. We are so excited! But along the way, we hit some roadblocks and encounter some adversity. Many times, people will just give up and take the easy way out. But we have to remember, it’s not how we start that counts; it’s how we finish. I’m encouraging you to have the determination to go all the way through. Don’t stop at the halfway mark just because times are tough. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything happening. The scripture tells us not to walk by sight, but to walk by faith
...Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24

REMEMBER: Friends, today, if there’s a dream in your heart, something you’re believing for — a relationship to turn around, a business opportunity or to overcome an addiction — keep pursuing it! Run your race to win the prize! Don’t settle until you see the fullness of what God has placed in your heart. As you stand strong in your faith, I believe God will pour out His favour and blessing upon you, and you will see the victory God has in store for you!

God who LOVES YOU

I believe the main thing that changes us, is to know about God’s love for us. Have you seen what someone in love looks like? It's easy to recognize; there's a glow about that person; something coming from deep down inside.

When you truly come to know the love of God, the height the depth and the breadth of it you will be changed forever. Ephesians 3:17
Love is the one thing that changes everyone for the better. Love motivates us to change. When someone loves us we want to be good to them in return; we want to look better and be kinder. Love can soften the hardest of hearts, but without love, hearts become hard and unhappy.

Jesus being the son of God, died for each and every one of us. How hard it must have been for God the Father to give up His only Son? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3: 16 We truly have a Father in Heaven who loves us. And I can promise you this, if you were the only person on this Earth, our Father and Christ would each do the same thing. Even, if it was just for you and nobody else.

God has so much love for each one of us. How can we put anything in the world before Him? How can we go throughout each day and not even take the time to talk to Him.

Jesus said, The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come that you might have life and life abundant. John 10:10
Jesus is talking about that abundance in our souls that can only come from knowing God. For a change that endures, we must start on the inside by letting go of all of the past hurts and wounds, and allowing the love of the Lord to do its work. We must put aside the negative thoughts and words spoken about us – by ourselves and by others – and look into the Word and find out what God thinks of us. When we do, an amazing thing happens; God's love changes us.

It's hard for us to comprehend how much God really loves us – that He would send His son to die for our sins, and to give us the abundant life. God loves us and wants to be involved in the tiniest details of our lives. He cares about your child that's wandered away. He cares about the heartaches you've had since childhood. He cares that you need a job.  Jesus cares… We must let Him enter into those places and repair the damage with His love. God alone can love us through those hard times. We can trust our Father because He's faithful to finish what He has begun.

God’s love is what should matter the most. It feels good to be loved. But, not all the people will love you back. From, my point of view, I have experienced that there are people who could live their whole lives just being indifferent to every emotion ever expressed. What I’m trying to say is don’t be disappointed when people don’t reciprocate to the love shown. And don’t ever give up on love. Because, there is God and there is somebody out there who loves you. And this article, is a dedication to God's amazing love and to you, because you are Gods most prized possession, you are His masterpiece. My friend, always know this that God the Father loves you. He has you safe in the palm of His hands. The most Powerful force in the universe is backing you up because, HE is the God who LOVES YOU.

Just for your information:
25 percent of the people will always love you (that includes me)
25 percent of the people don’t know you exist.
25 percent of the people are indifferent to you.
25 percent of the people simply don’t care (I think hate is a strong word & so I have refrained from using it here).

REMEMBER: Friends, remember God loves us! He wants us to talk to Him, to rely on Him, to trust in Him. It is my prayer and my challenge for each of us to come to know God just a little better in our lives. He has done so much for us so that we can return to be with Him, let's all take a little more effort of our own to show our love, to The One who undeniably, deserves all our love and attention.

Trust God……….

Sometimes we hold on to our dreams too tightly. We need to let go, that's when God can bring them to pass. Surrender the dreams to God and believe in God’s perfect timing.

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts     Isaiah 55:9
We all believe in God. We believe that God has placed dreams in our hearts. But we lack in patience.  We need to not get discouraged. Know, that God has something better in store. Just because it doesn't happen your way doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Remember, God has a plan. He's got it all figured out. Don't limit Him by trying to get it done your way. Instead, simply believe that God has my best interest at heart.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.  Psalm 20:7

It's easy to get discouraged when things don't always go your way. Maybe you're experiencing some challenges. Remember, we serve a supernatural God. When we believe, all things become possible!
Quit trying to figure everything out. God can do what men can't do. Think about the Israelites. When they left Egypt, there were two million of them. Then, Pharaoh came chasing after them, and when they came to a dead end at the Red Sea, it looked like it was over. They couldn't see a way out, in the natural. But that didn't mean there wasn't a way. Trust God to make a way. God simply parted the Red Sea and they went through on dry ground.

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you Isaiah 60:1

I believe that God wants to exceed your expectations! He has amazing things stored up for you. He'll take you places that you've never dreamed and give you breaks that seemed impossible. Things are going to fall into place so that you can accomplish every dream that God has placed in your heart. He is going to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all you could ask, think, or imagine!
Don't let discouragement hold you back or keep you down. It's time for you to arise and shine. It's time for you to receive every spiritual blessing and move forward in the destiny God has prepared for you!

That day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they revered him all the days of his life…    Joshua 4:14

God made a promise to Joshua. He said, "Joshua, today I will begin to make you great in the eyes of all the Israelites." But notice, there was a set time for God to begin to release favour in a new way.
God wants to release His blessings and His favour on you. He is saying to us what He said to Joshua, "This day I'm going to begin to make your name great. I'm going to begin to release My favour and open doors that no man can shut." Get ready for God's favour in your life. Keep an attitude of faith and expectancy because this day God wants to overwhelm you with His blessings and favour in every area of your life!

REMEMBER:  God already knows what we want and what we are in need of. He's the One who put those desires in us. We shouldn't be consumed by trying to make things happen. Instead, a greater act of faith is to be happy right where you are; to stay open and trust God because He has good plans in store for your future!

YOU are not ALONE!

Friends, today, I encourage you to put your shoulders back, hold your head up high and start thinking like a victor, not a victim. And you know that any adversity in your life is not permanent, it’s temporary. Have the attitude to receive the overflow of God’s abundance. Keep believing and keep expecting because it’s just a matter of time until God turns things around in your favour.

...His favour is for a lifetime...   Psalm 30:5

When you obey God’s commands, you open the door for His favour. Even if someone may have wronged you, even if it looks like things are never going to change, you need to know that God is in control. God's fighting our battles. God is our vindicator. And it’s just a matter of time before things change in our favour.
God will restore everything in your life that the enemy has stolen so you can live the abundant life He has promised to you.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours   Mark 11:24

Do you feel God's spoken promises to your heart that haven’t come to pass yet? Sometimes when we believe, it’s easy to let circumstances and the pressures of life drag us down. But when you receive and picture the promises in your mind’s eye and declare it by faith, then you become stronger and more confident. You begin to have joy and peace because you know God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.
Open your heart and allow God’s thoughts to become your thoughts and receive His promises by faith. And — whatever you ask for in prayer will be yours!

They saw the works of the Lord, His wonderful deeds in the deep  Psalm 107:24

The scripture says is Psalm 107:23, “They that go down to the sea and do business in deep waters, they will see the wonders of God.” Friends, we’re supposed to dream big. But understand, when you’re out there in the deep waters, you can’t see the shore, and at times, it can get a little rocky. But, this verse tells us that God is the one who has called you to the deep waters. He is with you, and He knows there are deep things on the inside of you. When you are in those deep waters, you are not alone. God is with you, and He’s causing those deep things inside of you to come forth.
If you feel like you are out in the deep today remember, you are in the right place and God is with you. You will see His wonderful deeds in the deep, and you will full-fill the destiny He has in store for you.

REMEMBER: Friends, today I encourage you to know and believe that you are never alone. That the Almighty God is always with you. If there’s something coming against you, consider that you serve a mighty God. He has a way to meet every one of your needs. He wants to give you His favor. He wants to give you the advantage for success. Trust Him and believe because with God, all things are possible.

GOD is Good….

I like watching the first 10 minutes of Forest Gump, it’s  the dialogue that I love to hear. It goes like this: Life is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna get.

I love chocolates, who doesn’t?  And everyone knows, that a box of chocolates consists of different flavours. Life is like that box of chocolates, full of surprises. There would be some moments where you would be anxious, and moments where there would be no limits to your joy.

Often, when we pray, we expect the answers immediately. We expect results on our terms and conditions. At times, God does answer the prayers immediately. But there are times, when God does delay the answer. God’s delays are not God’s denials.

This is what I know, the moment we pray, God has heard and answered our prayers. We don’t see because, we are to know it by faith. God takes the time to answer the prayers, because at that moment God is moulding us to be the people God wants us to be. If we have to reach to the next level of blessings, we need to be prepared for living the next level.

When God puts a dream in your heart, He wants you to achieve it. God leaves no loose ends. So, if you are looking for that promotion or waiting for a significant other, then know this, that God is working behind the scenes. And you will meet the right person and yes God will take you places that you have never dreamed off.

God is always working behind the scenes. We have to believe that God always has the best intentions for us. He wants us to succeed. He places the dreams in our hearts. And He provides us with all the means to achieve the dream. At the moment, it may look like a jigsaw puzzle. Go by faith. Believe and you will see your fondest dreams come true.

It will be an enchanting moment. These are the moments that dreams are made up off. Nothing short of a Beethoven’s symphony. Imagine that you heard the three legendry tenors together performing. You would know you have attended an unforgettable night of classical unchallenged opera. This is how it feels, when all the pieces fit together. It creates a perfect symphony.
What I'm saying, is that every piece fits so perfectly. It will be magic. You will have felt the sweetest music being played. And you know in your heart, that you are living your dream. You will know when the time has come. God will orchestrate everything to perfection. You will look in wonder. And be amazed by God, as you move to a whole new level.

Its best, when we don’t have all the answers. Because life should be just like that box of chocolates. Enjoy & cherish each moment, as they will take you into a whole new wonderful tomorrow.

Remember: God is a God of increase. He has greater things in store for your future than you have experienced in your past. His dream for your future is so much bigger than your own.  Get your hopes up and get excited about your future! Begin to thank Him for what He has in store. Trust that He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Trust that He who promised is faithful.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to do your will always and with Love. This I ask In Jesus name, Amen.
