Abide with Me . . . . .

When people face challenges, they seek comfort in things that are familiar. True comfort is found in a personal relationship with God in heaven through His Son, Jesus.

I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who abides in Me while I abide in him produces much fruit. John 15:5

God wants you to abide in Him and rely on Him for everything. He wants to be your source for strength, provision, hope and joy. God wants you to rely on Him for your very existence.
Abiding in God begins by meditating on Him and His Word. Make Him your number one priority. When you are connected to God, everything you set your hand to will be fruitful and blessed. Abide in Him and let Him pour out His abundant favour and blessing on you all the days of your life.

Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up. Proverbs 12:25

When you see someone having to struggle, our words can be what can keep a person going; our compliments can put a spring back into their step. We need to let the encouragement flow. We need to tell people how much we love and value them. We have to be generous with our compliments. Always remember, with your words you carry life-giving water. You carry hope, healing, encouragement and new beginnings, and you can pour it out everywhere you go.
Don’t be the one to point out peoples faults, and don’t ridicule people. Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. Focus on the good. There are already enough critical, judgmental people in the world. Let’s be people who lift up others and restore them. Build people with your words. Let’s be the light of Jesus in the world.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God...  1 Peter 4:11

When you reach out to someone, when you’re kind and speak encouragement, God’s voice is blended with your voice. Your words become His words. That’s why you can say something as simple as ‘You look beautiful’ or ‘You can make it,’ and it becomes a sentence that impacts the life of another person. To you it’s nothing. But when spoken the words that come out are blessed by God and they become life giving words. Let your words be used to bring life, hope and blessing. Speak as the oracles of God and be His mouthpiece everywhere you go.

REMEMBER: You are God’s voice on His green earth. When you speak to others, declare what God would say about them. Today, choose to speak encouragement. Choose to speak victory and faith. Choose to be a blessing to everyone. And yes most important of all, Love with all your heart.

Prayer: From my heart to yours, I wish you God’s Love and Peace.
