As I Walk....

 

My People,

Good Morning! No man can ever fathom the heart of God.  It is infinite. We would die, maybe at best crumble to pieces if we felt that love even for a fraction of a second.

Psalm 26:2 states - Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind.

The word “Hosanna” means ‘Save me’. Here is one of the paragraphs of the Praise and worship song. I love the words and somehow if you would ask me – this is my prayer.

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your Kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

 

It’s been a tough two months. I have learnt that life is beautiful when you realize that our every attempt at life must be filled with the air of humility and glad surrender to God.

We need to start living unselfish lives. It’s difficult to strive to live as Jesus did. But it is up to us how we treat others that we know deep in our hearts is the way Jesus would have treated us. We are called to love.
We need to be open to Gods instructions and humble ourselves.

To be broken means to be connected to God and know what breaks His heart and to feel the breaking in mine.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbour as yourself. Luke 10:27.

Following God’s will does mean to be open and to step outside our comfort zone. 

 

 

 

After the mass, when I sit to talk with Abba Father, I never leave unless I am told. On Saturdays, after the 7:30 pm mass, as I am about to leave the Church, Abba Father will always remind me to enjoy my day?

 

I have always loved star gazing. It’s something about looking at a star filled sky that fills my heart with wonder and hope.  The childlike feeling that is accompanied with wonder and amazement that is something else.  If we could only remember and carry this feeling for the rest of our lives, we would accomplish so much.

Life is beautiful, like the colours of the rainbow. The most beautiful and amazing thing about children is that they look at everything with awe. Isn’t it amazing?

 

Everybody loves somebody at some time or the other. Love is essential our whole existence depends on it.

When you love - As husband and wife, you want to be together forever. As parents you want to watch over your children. As friends, as family members you want to reach out.

But the most we learn is when we begin to build our hearts to trust and that always happens in a relationship, when one is in love. That’s because when we love someone we learn to have faith in God and each step is taken with belief albeit we may never realize it at the time.

I’ve seen the many instances of love, and it always amazes me what one can learn from that.

Love is like the stars that twinkle at night,

and the moon that can sometimes smile so bright.

 

  

 

Day 12^th of October, 2014 - The 10:15 am mass. Fr. Ashlyn lifted the Host (The Body of Christ), all I could say to Jesus, was I missed being here with You! I longingly prayed, 'Oh Jesus, Bid me to come to You'.

 

Love Hurts deep.
Love is Passion.
Love Breaks.

Love in its truest sense is a deep ache in the heart of the one who loves. It is an ache that needs to be there for love to grow. Love hurts - it wouldn’t be love if it didn’t.

Love with a passion. Passion is nothing but deep, deep love, a love that transcends time, a love that is undefined and a love that is always forgiving even unto death.


It is not how the world sees. The Priest breaks the Host (The Body of Christ), so it can be shared with others. That’s the breaking-the breaking for love. So we have Jesus, breaking Himself everyday out of love for us. This is what I must follow, break out of love for others.

If someone hurts me-love them.
If someone backstabs me-love them.
If cheated, if wronged-love anyway.
If betrayed by the one I trust-love even more.

And when I love, I have to love with all of my heart, never keeping the wrongs they did me, but rather love like I have never been hurt by them.  Love till every broken part of my heart feels the love and only love. Love like there is no option, and like it is the only option. Love until my heart aches with wanting to love even more. Love passionately.

Love till our hearts are set on fire with for and in love.

The Priest raises the Host, and proclaims that this is the Lamb of God. We as a people respond together- ‘Lord, I am not worthy to receive you, but only say the word and I shall be healed.’

 

Down the building I stay, during a week of dandiya, I have loved watching the entire community celebrate. The celebration was organized by the people, from the chawl. I have never ever witnessed such togetherness and rejoicing. I enjoyed watching them. I was thinking, if I who don’t know them am so happy watching them being happy, how much more does God in Heaven rejoice over the happiness of His children?

 

The heart must ache with an intensity to do good to others and with love.


When God breaks our heart it’s not because of something we did wrong, but to show us the love we’ve always longed for.
We don’t always understand His ways or how breaking down means being restored again.
We won’t always understand how He will use the pain to make us stronger than before.
But this I know you will experience a deep sense of Joy and Peace. You will feel contentment because you have learnt to trust God. When you do your heart becomes His residence.

 

The one person who will stand by you no matter what; The one person you can count on for a lifetime, The one person who knows you, sometimes better than you know yourself, is the same person who's been standing beside you all along.

Oh Jesus teach us to love everyone in the same way that You have loved us. Bring a change to our hearts, and let it flow through us to the people of the world so that our lives will be enkindled with the fire of love.  

 

As you walk along life’s path, don’t wonder as to what the next moment holds. Leave that thought to God. Life is full of surprises and everything works out to the best for him who believes.

We get disappointed when we miss out on certain events, or things don’t work out the way we planned or they don’t work out at all.
I have learnt when things don’t go my way - to not lose heart.

We need to never feel disappointment, because when we do we don’t trust God the way we need to. It is that clear. Too many times when I felt disappointed and saddened, I believed in God, but yet those were times I too fell short.

For the last 3 weeks, on Wednesdays, I would hurry up with all my work, and somehow make it to Mt. Carmel’s Church for the Bible Study and after reaching there, would meet up with someone or the other, who would tell me that there are no classes. No disappointment there, my immediate thought would be to attend mass. When God, wants you to be somewhere you will be. 

So I can miss my train now, things can get delayed, I might not get things to happen at that precise moment, but you know what I don’t feel saddened, and why should I? If you look closely the Sun is always shining?

Only thing, we need to change is our perception (the way we see things)? Because when you do, you will understand that the Earth rotates and so we have the sunlight for certain hours and then it is the turn of another part of the continent to see the sunlight.

The Sun never stops shining on me and you.

This is what I’m saying, you have a Dream, hold on to it, keep your gaze fixed onto Jesus. No matter what happens above, below and beyond, you remain still – you keep believing. You are unstoppable in your race and yes you will get there on God’s wings. No person has ever lost, he who has believed in God. Go ask the prophets, the Saints they echo in unison. If you could - I think we should all hear HEAVEN echo with an astounding YES from God, Yes I’m with you and everything is possible. I won’t ask for you to believe, I’ll just say, BELIEVE!

 

When God breaks my heart, it is for me to know and understand His. Oh Abba Father, for everytime your heart breaks, let mine break with yours. 

IF and When you feel your heart break, imagine God holding you close in His arms and whisper, ‘I love you this much’.
