Good Morning! May
the Peace and Love of Jesus and Mama Mary ever fill your heart.
Day
2 of January, 2014 - and what a wonderful start it has been. Begin everything
with love in your heart and you will never ever go wrong. Love is the answer to
everything. Say it out loud, “LOVE PREVAILS”. Because what you say out loud, is
what you believe and when you believe it the way you say it-then yeah you will
be surrounded with love all over. Love will always, always win.
The below words are by Constance Parker Graham. Hope you love it.
Each
day has a gift to give,Small joys and great ones too.
Beauty to see and songs to hear,
And wonderful things to do.
Enjoy each to the fullest,
For
they add upto nothing less,
Than
a lifetime of lovely moments and
A
heart full of happiness.
We
all want to be stars. We want the magic formula to quick success. God made you the best you
can be, I want for you to believe and apply that in your life.
I
want for you to know that you are a STAR.
You
are worth dying for and Jesus did that on the CROSS. He
died for all of us.
I want for you to BELIEVE.
God bless-Whitney Houston’s soul. The following lines are from her song “One moment in time”; I love this song, I absolutely love the words here. My advice, give each day the best you got.
A day to give, The best of me;
I'm only one, But not alone,
My finest day, Is yet unknown.
What
are memories and why is it so important?
You
could call it as data collected and stored in our memory bank. But really it is
vital information linked to our brain-through our various experiences. Memories
motivate us.
I’ll
explain myself – placing myself in the picture, so that we both can understand,
what and why I am saying what needs to be said. Let’s speak about Christmas,
since this is the season.
Let’s
take the year 2005, the year my brother met with an accident and went to be
with the Lord. That year we celebrated Christmas, maybe not like other
Christmas’s. We had the Crib up and avoided putting up the Christmas tree,
because my brother loved that, and there were too many fond memories.
Christmas
is a season of hope. How can you kill HOPE? When you celebrate Christmas
together, you celebrate hope. You celebrate life. My brother’s death was a
tragedy. We hurt and were broken. We didn’t give in to tragedy, believing in
Jesus.
Too
many times, I hear people say of how they have lost somebody in the family (a
grand mother/grand father-uncle/aunt) and they are not celebrating Christmas
and I think why? Isn’t it the birth of JESUS?
You
don’t need to go shopping, you don’t need to decorate or jazz up the place. All
you need to do is visit the Church and wish JESUS a very ‘Happy Birthday’. How
difficult is that?
Death
is something that comes to all of us at some time or the other. Because of
Jesus we know we will see our loved ones at the end of this journey. Amen.
Children
they do not understand death. But they look forward to celebrations. It’s what
keeps them going. Sometimes I hear of parents who make their children go
through this routine of mourning. Why?
Who
can stop death? But why stop children-who do not understand what it is? And
besides they won’t be forever the same age. Give them memories – that seem
everlasting - so that when they face tomorrow - and that tomorrow can be
tough-they will have all the memories that strengthen them and make them know
that love is everlasting too. They will grow with a reassurance that no matter
what happens, life goes on and we can choose to make it beautiful for others
and ourselves as well. And in turn they will do right by their children. Isn’t
that what we are supposed to do in the first place?
Good
memories – gladden the heart.Good memories – strengthen the person.
Good memories – make a person know he or she is loved.
A heart that is glad sings praises to God.
Lead
your children to Jesus and He will forever keep them safe.

John 4:18 is one of my most favourite passages in the Bible and it states: There
is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with
punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love. (To my sons – Daniel & Emmanuel.)
Day
5 of January, 2014 - 1st death anniversary of Fr. Larry Pereira. I am not going
to say God rest his soul. I know he is in Heaven. …
This
also happens to be the day for the kids receiving their first holy communion.
I
wonder, maybe I’ll just go ahead and ask? I’m supposing you’re the kind, who
knows you have guests coming. It’s Christmas time and you have prepared a
wonderful menu keeping in mind the people you are preparing the meals for. Now,
its time and your guests arrive.
You
love to have people come in to your place. But these guests have taken you for
granted they don’t even have the courtesy to address you. Being polite is a
million miles away. It’s a big family with 7 kids. And you’re happy to see
them. The kids go run and jump on the sofa. The parents try to maintain some
order, and hence moving things around, so as to adjust the kid’s position of
sitting, not even once looking or asking what needs to be done. And you want to
say something but you’re too kind a person to say anything.
You
have been a perfect host having taken care of everything including keeping them
entertained. You gave with no appreciation shown. It hurts doesn’t it? You
worked your heart out. You loved as to not say anything.
God
is a perfect Host, taking care of all of our needs, we show no appreciation or
reverence ever. Have you ever
understood?

After
the 9:15 mass I sat in the Church to pray.
In
the 3 years, that I have been for the 10:30 - first holy communion mass, the first 4 rows are
always booked for the kids and their families. I understand that. You know this
puzzles me, why would anyone have 3 kids sitting in a pew when it can easily
accommodate 5 that too most comfortably.
The
shocking part for me really was watching the ladies stick (numbers/name) on the
pew. Do you remember going for the board exams and following the numbers so
that you know exactly where you are seated? Well this was exactly like that.
We
need to remember we are in the HOUSE of GOD.
You
can always direct the kids as to where they have to be seated. But this was by
means just plain bad………
At
the end of the day, you may just go ahead and justify this? I give you that. But
if what is an error is justified as right, it’s no wonder then that nobody says
anything to anyone. When you live doing what is wrong, one more addition to the
list will not seem like wrong. Will it?
And
if you do understand this to be wrong, but for being so cautious to maintain
your relationship and standing with others you chose to be quiet, then you do
wrong by God and yourself.
Revelation
3:15-16 states- I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish
that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor
cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
The
Church is a place of worship and a place of reverence in which Abba Father,
Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwell. Remember to show REVERANCE.
To
be filled with zeal is to grow in “holy boldness” for the glory of God. The
Lord our God is “a consuming fire”.
Zeal
must be tempered by love. True zeal effects positive change and a greater life.
Jesus
found in the temple area those who sold sheep, doves etc as well as the
money-changers seated there. He made a whip out of cords and drove them all
out, and he said, “Take these out of here, and stop making my Father’s house a
marketplace.” His disciples recalled the words of scripture, “Zeal for your
house will consume me.” At this the Jews answered and said to him, “What sign
can you show us for doing this?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this
temple and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews said, “This temple has
been under construction for forty-six years, and you will raise it up in three
days?”
The
first thing the crowd at the temple courts and even Jesus disciples did not
understand was the idea of the body being a temple.
The
other thing the people did not understand was the sign Jesus would give was
that He would die and then rise again on the third day. If they knew that Jesus
was the temple they would destroy and that He would rise up from the grave,
they might have understood why Jesus cleared the temple. You and I can rejoice in what it says about God’s
love for us.
In love, let your
life be consumed with zeal for the house of the Lord.
Jesus
was never a push-over; neither, should we be. Let us cast out every obstacle
that places itself in-between us and the true worship of God.
My
question is this… Are you with belief, ready to say “All for Jesus,” even
if you don’t fully understand what Jesus has done for you? Jesus love endures
for us-forever.
You are my every wish,
My every desire, my every dream come true,
When
you love someone you are mighty proud (a state of happiness for their well
being) of the person they are. It hurts to be missing their best moments and
not be a part of it.
The
wonderful thing about the Holy Spirit is,
no
matter how time and space keeps the both of you apart,
love
engraves you forever in each others heart.
What
I have learnt over time, is that when the Holy Spirit brings you together, you
will be led by Divine Wisdom. There is no information that will ever go
unnoticed. When I think things are beyond me, it’s never beyond the power of
the ‘Holy Spirit.’ He is the greatest power in the world.
I
believe in soul mates. I believe in true love. I believe in the word sacrifice.
I believe in total surrender to God.
If
we maintain close fellowship with God, He will lead us and guide us. If a
person is truly seeking His will, if we submit to Him and follow Him, God will
lead us to our “soul mate”. True soul mate oneness is only possible by
following the bible.
That
simply means give God your highest priority. Understand how to revere Him out
of the love in your heart.
And
when you do, then you will be an obedient wife/a caring husband, wonderful
parents and so on. You will be faithful to God and each other.
Being
in Church and participating in all the Church activities is a wonderful thing
to do, but never at the cost of not doing your household chores.
I
have heard of families, especially women who participate in all the activities of the Church and then go home and place an
order for food. Love means making an effort.
I
believe in a world of love and that love is possible when you love God with a
total reverence to Him. When you love God you will love everyone. No questions
about that.
From
the Beginning…
You are my strength,
my every desire.
You fill my heart, I know I've finally found my life’s missing part.
Whenever you need
me, I will be here.
At your call to talk and I'll be here to care.
At your call to talk and I'll be here to care.
As I look back on the dreams I left behind;
Buried there in all my thoughts, It is you I always find.
I write, for my
words are few,
I pray God, to keep me with you.
The bonds of love they grow strong,
No other can stir my heart so deep,
And in my dreams – to eternity is a promise, God will keep.
I pray God, to keep me with you.
The bonds of love they grow strong,
No other can stir my heart so deep,
And in my dreams – to eternity is a promise, God will keep.
When I look back to times gone by
There is one sure thing I know
There is no other my soul will ever love,
‘From the beginning it has always been you’.
With
all my Love,
For Love Prevails!AnitA.
