The WORLD: Refugee & Poverty!

The Universe-Mother Earth works in love. She is never in a hurry. We plunder her out of greed for all the resources we want. But love is all she knows. God built her with love. Mother Earth is our home.

UNICEF - What is child poverty? How many children live in poverty?
Children experience poverty when there is a lack of nutrition like food, water, shelter, education and health care. This describes a deprivation of multiple basic rights. Child poverty is a global issue
The extreme child poverty estimates in 2022:
333 million children living in extreme poverty (surviving on less than $2.15)
829 million children living below $3.65
1.43 billion children living below $6.85
At the end of June 2023, 110 million people worldwide were forcibly displaced from their homes due to persecution, conflict, violence, human rights violations and events seriously disturbing public order.
Poverty can last a lifetime for children, and the deficits they experience can be difficult to overcome later in life.
In India, 11.5% of children live in extremely poor households, which is about 52 million children

CONCLUSION:
All wealth-that one is blessed with, is not meant for one to lavish on oneself but is meant to share with those who are in need.
For example, a person has 4-5 houses in different parts of the country or in the world.
Is it necessary? No. A home is where a family comes to dwell under one roof.
What is the use of the 5 houses, one cannot live in all of them at the same time. And since you have one child, your child cannot at one time, in all common sense be living in all of them either. So, what is the point of the 4-5 houses.
The more we are given; the more is expected from us. And how we fail miserably.

GOD is The Greatest Mathematician!
When God distributes the Talents-the resources we are blessed with, (wealth, possessions, money, property). God knows where it must go and we know it, but we do not think it necessary to share our resources. God will send us reminders of what we must do. But we ignore all the messages. And failure to help means failing to help our brother or sister, who is in much need.
God desires for us to reach to our broken-hearted brothers or sisters.
God reached out to us; by blessing us with the resources-the wealth. God NOW expects for us to reach to our brothers and sisters in what God has blessed us with so that we would be a blessing to our poorer brothers and sisters. But we FAIL.

God does not expect equal results from everyone's work.
In the Parable of the Sower, one servant makes a return of five talents, while another makes two talents. The master praises both equally (Matthew 25:23). It's important to observe that both servants invest for the benefit of their master, and they return to him not only his original investment, but also what they make on his behalf. When we say that everything, we have is a gift from God, what it also means is, it belongs to God.
All our earthly belongings-possessions belong to God.
Therefore, this act of charity business thinking one can bribe God is sheer foolishness. You cannot give to God charity so that you can get forgiveness for all your sins.
Ask God for forgiveness and believe He will forgive. You don't need to bribe God. God does not think like you or me.
To be entrusted with talents, resources-wealth-money, and opportunities means to work toward God's purposes in the world and by doing so, we take our place among the faithful, trustworthy servants of God, no matter how big or small our accomplishments may seem.
We work unto The Lord!

The Reason i write... Part 1

Each one of us begins in a Family circle.
But we must be completely rooted in the Love of Christ. And the fragrance that permeates us brings us together in Love that not only builds me but looks to help in building one another. For this is The Love of Christ!

I have lived selfishly for most part of my life. It scares me when i recall the things of my past. The things that i could have done and failed to do. How selfish was my way of thinking, how hurtful my ways. I am sorry for each moment that i hurt people and i hurt the heart of God. I cannot undo the past. I cannot undo the hurt i caused. But i can in the grace of God, mend my ways. When i choose to do my will, it could be destructive to others. And i don't want to walk that way.
But there is a lesson we all must learn if not from others, then we must learn from our own mistakes (sometimes through heartache and pain and in the loss of a loved one) and in all earnestness pray for the grace of God to help us to never repeat the offenses again.
I have witnessed selfish acts and destructive behaviour and haven't we all at some point and it is not a good thing.

We are taught not to be envious of our Neighbour's good fortune. But when we look at the world, we see the devastation that is caused by wars, and the reason being greed. If each country begins to plunder their neighbouring country for their resources, what will remain of the world. Aren't we all part of this evil that is in the world. For we bother not of the other country(-my neighbour) or what happens to the people of that country as long as it happens somewhere else. Oh yes, definitely, we will pray ceaselessly for them, we will hold night vigils. And we feel so good about ourselves, but yet we will fail to do the right thing? I have learned Hypocrisy rules.
Injustice begins at home. And it has spread its tentacles like a virus into the world.
If we cannot be just of heart, we cannot be JUST at home.
In doing the Will of God, there is no pride involved, no ego.
There is an Obedience to God and who God has placed in our lives.
But 95% women don't follow this.
Many married, Catholic women don't listen to their husbands, and neither to the Priests. Obedience is a chosen-alien word to them. They believe obedience is only to God which makes them a kind of a hypocrite, because in saying this they can conveniently disregard others. There is a disobedience to God. And should you ever say anything - a hell is in waiting. Do you understand, when this person looks at the mirror, the reflection is that of a Saint. And when you know this, what is it that makes you speak?

The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world?
Well, if it is her son, she will rock the cradle with such love that time will want to stand still. And you would want to write on the great love of a mother. But don't brand her yet. For in the eyes of the son she can do no wrong. For to the son, she does no wrong.
But to the daughter she is completely blind and unjust. She can wreck the daughter, but no harm will ever come to the son.
All mothers are not the same. There are many kinds. And i write this because when the hand that rocks the cradle does it with love to her baby boy or baby girl, with no strings of difference, she brings a justness into the home-which moves into the world. For the love of God is JUST. God makes no difference. It is Love that is learnt at home and LOVE moves into the world. For it is here most applicably said, 'A hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.' For it is Love that brings the world together.
The world begins at home. If without a war you are in devastation, then nobody outside a war zone could understand a war as you can.
For there are real battles with scars where one is on the run and there are psychological battles (which have you run) that are equally destructive.

It is said “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” And quite honestly i don't see anyone attempt to stop the war. Is there no good man, then?
If the countries creating ammunition - continue to do so, then our praying to God to put an end to war is baseless.
For faith to work, it requires the deed. There must be a stop to creating weapons, then there will be an end to all wars.
The Road to PEACE is not laid with weapons.
The countries producing arms will want their ammunition to be sold and what better way than having reasons for wars to break open to the dismay of all. Some wars are ongoing, some never coming to a standstill.
Jesus in Matthew 7:24-27 says -“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; 25 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; 27 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”
We ought to be carefully listening to the Words of Jesus and putting It into practice. We need to be completely obedient.
A wise man built his house upon the rock - JESUS!
When we follow Jesus, our home, our lands - everything is blessed. But when we disobey then as Jesus said and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”

Look at the world around us, do you see the devastation of the wars. It is our greed and our hatred. Families and Homes destroyed; lives cut short. For many a people there is no home to run to.
All dreams - all hope shattered!
The calamity the world faces, is because of our wrong doings.
War brings in untold devastation. There are lives lost, families wiped out.
But we as a people, will dare not speak the truth or do the right thing. We will not correct the country or the persons that are in violation of the rules of the country or the world. As a world we sit hand in hand. Because as we sit, we watch and learn and understand, we are building ourselves to be what we have in silence watched and learned. We learn that war is the best reason to plunder with no penalties.
If all the nations fight against each other at some point in time, which is bound to happen, there will be no peace and all that one plunders will lay waste.
All that man plans-is not God's plan. Man proposes-God disposes.
For we are a foolish bunch. In sin we lie to ourselves and to others.
The world is a selfish place at times-but not all are foolish all the time.
But in all this madness, GOD keeps us, always guiding us to aim for PERFECTION!

There are many things in this lifetime that can be avoided but first we must decide to leave the notion, that everything i have is for me.
That done, one can, then in the grace of God see clearly.
29% of Earth's surface is land and that is a lot of land, the number 29 sounds small, but it isn't so. That means there is a lot of land for all of us, to live in Peaceably. If and when we give shelter to the war-torn people, we give them a hope, a dream-a chance to begin.
God is Abundantly Generous. We are meant to be like our Heavenly Father. But can i say, we are way too selfish to see the good for anyone or everyone? Sadly, we only think for ourselves.
When we are a blessing to others, the praise of the people we help goes directly to God, and the nation is blessed and is under Gods Sovereign protection, because they chose to be the Protectors of their broken-hearted Brothers and Sisters.
Matthew 25:34-46
34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? 38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? 39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ 41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?’ 45 Then he will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Wealth and Fame are not given to satisfy oneself endlessly.
Love is always going to be the greatest need; it is a hunger-like no other hunger in the world!
But as we live, you-me and everyone needs a family-a home to belong to, someone to call our own.
And food to eat and clean water to drink.
Wealth is given to share to distribute to the less fortunate. (When i make a mention of this, i say this from the perspective of hunger and the second thing everyone needs is a roof above their head.) This search to help begins with my family-immediate family, friends and if anyone is in need.
Fame is where you are catapulted to a place of recognition and being on the centerstage, you have a reach that can bring change. All fame is not just about you, but what you can do for others.
People use people to get famous.
There are people in the Church, who use God to get famous. It is a silly thing to say. But at the Eucharistic Adoration, most speakers get carried away and you will notice a lack of etiquette. They forget in WHOSE presence they are, and some things they speak on have no relevance. Some will speak of their husbands-wives. Some will speak of their children. Is that really necessary? Because it is not a retreat.
And then there is the hand pointing to others at the Mass by the lectors, then there is the hand flying here-there everywhere during the Eucharistic Adoration? Pointing out to someone or anyone is considered Bad manners. And we need to remember, we are in the Presence of God-and How must we come in His Presence
People talk about their kitchens, their business's, does that at all make sense during the Eucharistic Adoration. But this need to talk, my 15 minutes of fame is so much greater than God. And nobody tells them that it is wrong to do so. (Do you understand what i am saying and why i make a mention of this, because we fail to do the right thing at the right time. We are given the opportunity to do the right thing and we fail miserably.)
((Eucharistic Adoration is about my being with God, with Jesus, praying and asking Jesus to help me and that i may be of help to others.
Praying for others, asking graces for them.
Praying for our Priests and Nuns.
Praying for the souls in Purgatory.
Praying for the Countries in War, that Peace may Prevail.
Praying, praying and praying))
(But when online, i heard Women speakers talk about how they always got their family to come for the Eucharistic Adoration. They were not saying of how they forced their family to be there, so others could see how loving they were. Some would talk about their house renovation, some on how they conduct businesses, all totally unnecessary, what i felt was they knew Jesus was there, but they forgot what Jesus would love to hear them say.)

Why do we not care about God-that we hurt Him often?
Why do we want to please people so much that we fail to please God.
Those 15 minutes one gets is not to demonstrate how savvy one is. Because there are some speakers (at the Eucharistic Adoration) who get their laptops? This need-this compulsion to show how tech savvy one is, is totally unnecessary
This behaviour only demonstrates the lack of understanding that one is in the presence of Jesus, Himself, Who is in the form of a Host. Jesus is waiting for us, He is HUMBLE, and how much we can truly learn if we listen to HIM.
But we come before Him with our inflated egos always showing others, 'look at me, how great i am? always talking about myself and how my family comes with me everywhere' Not at all understanding Jesus, or how it is to be humble like our Lord and King?
And why is Jesus being in this form of a Host? What is it that Jesus is telling us?
It is a Eucharistic Adoration.
Do we at all care to know what A Eucharistic Adoration is? or is IT just an excuse to show off ourselves.

Holiness is not an act. We are on a mission, preparing in this lifetime, to learn to become Holy. I write, because we are unaware when this life ends, and all i am saying is you don't want to be in Purgatory to the end of time. Because none of us will enter Heaven on dying. (Only Priests & Nuns & Saints will enter Heaven directly.)
We live completely selfish lives. We don't love our brothers and sisters with a love of God. So yes, Heaven is not immediate.
The greater your wealth, the greater the time to get to Heaven (unless of course you did not let your wealth intoxicate you).
And most importantly not everybody will be going to heaven, at the rate of how we live our lives.
There has to be a transformation to the way we live and the manner in which we love and reach out to our brothers and sisters in need.

A few years back, it was shocking for me to learn about some cantors getting paid to sing at the celebration of the mass (for weddings or funerals). Forgive me if i have used the word cantors wrongly. But imagine my shock? I still do not understand how a lay person makes the celebration of the mass - a time for business. I can only write and tell you how wrong it is.
A camera man, a video editor are different lines. And they are there to do the recording. That is their business.
A cantor is one, who sings Praises to God and leads the congregation in singing. And getting paid to sing God's praises at a celebration of the mass, how low we fall. Sorry but it is the truth.

The reason I write
Before i could ever start writing, all i could think was how best to mend a broken life. All i ever wanted to do was to show the way, to dream again. I firmly believed and i do believe that 'no dream is impossible when one dreams through God'.
God is our greatest Encourager.
These days when you watch movies, there is not much difference between movies and reality because one is used to the notion of people talking in an aggressive tone. It sounds like one is ready to attack if given a chance. The songs too carry this notion that might is right. Everybody is so aggressive.
But the only time you will really understand the difference is when you watch a movie of the 60's. From the 1960's-1990's, there is in many a movie a manner of speaking that is warm.
The sound of kindness is so unreal now, in this day and age.
I am a woman and i like to see women succeed, it is a wonderful blessing. But when you put the whole picture of LIFE before you, there is the woman who is at the centre of all conversation. She is the Wife-She is the Mother. And it is she, who brings in the gentleness and the four walls-though just walls, become a Home. It is often said, and i believe 'a Home is where the Heart is'. One can live their entire lives under the shade of a bridge, but if that is where love begins, then the heart races to be there. That is the warmth of a human heart. That is the warmth of a mother's heart.

'MARY'

In Matthew 12:50 Jesus says - For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.”
Was this an offensive statement, considering that someone had conveyed the message to Jesus, that His Mother and brothers are waiting outside.
Certainly not!
But is there something that Jesus wanted us to understand.
Jesus speaks in Parables. Is this not the shortest one?
*Mary said YES to the Will of The Father.
*She lived in silence always in the Will of The Father.
Jesus speaks of His Father in Heaven-His Home. And how truly wonderful it is that Jesus desires for us to be with HIM!
Could this then be the reason that Jesus sits waiting for us in The Eucharistic Adoration, to come and draw strength from Him. To understand His Ways and to be filled with Him and live Holy lives, so that when it is our time to leave the world-we would come to be with Jesus in Heaven our Home!
It is our Yes, our surrender to the Will of the Father, it is the strength of Jesus, that will bring us Home!
Home is where the Heart is, and Jesus's Heart is Mary!
Matthew 12:50 and Mary said YES to the Will of The Father.

At the Transfiguration, we hear the Father, "This is my Beloved Son, Listen to Him." Mark 9:7
Listen to the Words of Jesus carefully, whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.
When you follow the Words of Jesus, your heart is filled with God. You are never apart from God.
Mary said YES and lived it in complete submission.
Mary says in John 2:5 - "Do whatever he tells you."
To Listen is Faith,
To Do is Deeds.
In both cases OBEDIENCE sets everything in motion.

Therefore we cannot just PRAY for Peace and not follow it with DEEDS.
“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock;
When we follow the Words of Jesus, Heaven is here on Earth.

When Jesus was twelve, and He went with His Parents to Jerusalem, Jesus stayed behind. His Parents supposed that Jesus was with relatives, but after a days journey, on not finding Him, they returned back. After 3 days, they found Him in the Temple.
Luke 2:48 - and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously.”
They did not understand the words Jesus spoke in reply to them. But v51 says And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them;
Mary was obedient to Joseph. And look at the words of respect for her husband, “Behold, your father and I”. Jesus is obedient to His Parents.
[[The woman of today. Her words would be, 'I, I and I. Nothing about her husband.']]
Therefore, what must we learn from this?
(Answer is OBEDIENCE to God and the people-who, God has placed in charge of us!
  • Our Priests!
  • Parents and all Elders.
  • To the Husband---An obedient Wife---
  • Teachers.
  • Obey the Law.
An obedient Wife: When a woman willfully disrespects her husband- The children, learn to be disrespectful.
When a woman thinks that listening to her husband makes her a servant, then it is a power struggle-a craving to control.
The desire for power begins with a lack of understanding of God and the Ways of God. Jesus says it very clearly, in Mark 10:45For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

It all starts with Obedience to God and a Perfect understanding of living in His Will. To His Death on the Cross, Jesus, obeyed to Perfection the Will of His Father!
Everything we learn-we learn in the Grace of God. The Holy Spirit counsels us perfectly.
No one learns everything at one go.
One step at a time.
