The GIFT!

My People,

Hello! HOPE is about keeping our hearts open to endless possibilities.
I love the Christmas Season! To me Christmas is each and every day of the year, and I am always in this wonderful Season of HOPE!
Hope Gives! May it fill your heart with Peace, Love and Joy? It is Hope that brings us Home.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
God's gift of Jesus was a Gift of Love and Kindness. The real Joy is Jesus not just at Christmas Time but all through the year!
Christmas is ALL Love of the Father, the Love of the Son, the Love of the Spirit of God, and that’s the best present of all-The LOVE of GOD!

When we give gifts to each other, we remind ourselves of the greatest Gift that God has given us, His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ.
We cannot outdo God! Every Christmas we feel that Hope and Joy soaring in our hearts, it’s not because of what we do, but what God has done for us. This is what makes the season of Christmas so magical so special. We are loved and we know that. This is our Joy!
At Christmas children are taught what it feels like to give and receive gifts. But what really needs to be taught is to be giving with no expectations.

Born in a stable, cradled in a manger, He came from Heaven to live on Earth as man and to establish the Kingdom of God. He lived and He died for us that in Him we have Eternal life!
The message of Christmas is Timeless. Because Christmas is about the birth of God's Son – Jesus!
The magic of Christmas never ends and its greatest of gifts are Love, Hope and Joy!

I Love You Always Forever. One of my most favourite songs by Donna Lewis.
CHORUS(1)
I love you always forever
Near and far closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything (say it, say it again) I will do for you
I love you always forever
Near and far closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you

You've got the most unbelievable eyes I've ever seen
As we are under a blue sky with pure white stars
A sweetness a magical time
Say it, say it again

CHORUS(1)

Say you'll love, love me forever
Never stop, never whatever
Near and far and always
And everywhere and every
Say you'll love, love me forever
Never stop, never whatever
Near and far and always
And everywhere and every
Say you'll love, love me forever…..
And everywhere and everything

I love you always forever
Near and far closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you
I love you always forever
Near and far closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you
I love you always forever
Near and far closer together

This is one of my favourite Christmas Story. A story of True Love!
"The Gift of the Magi" is a short story by O. Henry first published in 1905.
ONE DOLLAR AND EIGHTY-SEVEN CENTS. Della counted it three times. There was nothing to do but fall on the bed and cry.
Della finished her crying and dried her face. She stood by the window and looked out. Tomorrow would be Christmas Day, and she had only $1.87 with which to buy Jim a gift. She had put aside as much as she could for months, with this result. Jim earned $20.00 a week, which does not go far. Expenses had been greater than she had expected. Many a happy hour she had spent planning to buy something fine and rare, something being worthy of belonging to Jim.
Suddenly Della turned from the window and stood before the glass mirror and looked at herself. Quickly she pulled down her hair and let it fall to its full length.

Despite being poor, the young Dillingham's loved each other and possess two items they value as treasures in their world:
  • Jim's Gold pocket watch, a family heirloom and
  • Della's shining knee-length brown waterfall of hair.
  • The 3rd and most valued possession: Their love for each other.
She stood still while a few tears fell on the floor. She put on her coat and her old brown hat. With a quick motion and brightness still in her eyes, she moved quickly out the door and down the street.
Where she stopped the sign read: "Madame Sofronie. Hair Goods of All Kinds." Della ran up the steps to the shop, out of breath.
"Will you buy my hair?" asked Della.
"I buy hair," said Madame. "Take your hat off and let us have a look at it."
Down came the beautiful brown knee length waterfall of hair.
"Twenty dollars," said Madame, lifting the hair with an experienced hand.
"Give it to me quick," said Della.
The next two hours Della looked in all the stores to choose a gift for Jim. She found it at last. It was a chain, simple round rings of silver. It was perfect for Jim's gold watch. As soon as she saw it, she knew that it was like him-Quiet and with great value. She gave the shopkeeper twenty-one dollars, and she hurried home with the eighty-seven cents that was left.
When Della arrived home, she began to repair what was left of her hair. Within forty minutes her head was covered with tiny round curls of hair. She looked at herself in the glass mirror long and carefully.
"If Jim does not kill me before he takes a second look at me," she said to herself.
At seven, Jim’s dinner was kept tobe prepared. Jim was never late coming home from work. Della held the watch chain in her hand and sat near the door where he always entered. Then she heard his step in the hall. She had a way of saying a little silent prayer about the simplest everyday things, and now she whispered: “Please God, make him think I’m still pretty.”
The door opened and Jim stepped in. He was only twenty-two—and he had to care for a wife! He needed a new coat and gloves to keep his hands warm.
Jim stopped inside the door; His eyes were fixed upon Della. It was not anger, nor surprise, nor anything she had been ready for. He simply looked at her with that strange expression on his face. Della went to him. "Jim, my love," she cried, "do not look at me that way. I had my hair cut and sold because I could not have lived through Christmas without giving you a gift. My hair will grow out again. I just had to do it. My hair grows very fast. Say 'Merry Christmas!' Jim, and let us be happy. You do not know what a beautiful, nice gift I have for you."
“You’ve cut off your hair?” asked Jim slowly. He seemed not to feel sure he knew. “Cut it off and sold it,” said Della. “Don’t you like me now? I’m me, Jim. I’m the same without my hair.”
Jim looked about the room as if he were looking for something.
"You say your hair is gone?" he asked.
"You need not look for it," said Della. "It is sold and gone, too. It is Christmas Eve. Maybe the hairs of my head were numbered," she went on with sudden serious sweetness, "but nobody could ever count my love for you.
Shall I put the meat on, Jim?" Jim put his arms around his Della.
From inside the coat, Jim took something tied in paper. He threw it upon the table.
"Do not make any mistake about me, Dell," he said. "I do not think there is any haircut that could make me like my girl any less. But if you will open that package, you may see why you had me frightened at first."
Her fingers quickly tore at the string and paper. There was a scream of joy; and then, tears and cries, requiring the man of the house to use all his skill to calm his wife.
For here were the Combs—the combs that Della had seen in a shop window and loved for a long time. Beautiful ornamental combs, made of shells with jewels at the edge, perfect for her beautiful hair. They cost a lot of money, she knew, and her heart had wanted them without ever hoping to have them. And now, the beautiful combs were hers, but the hair that should have touched them was gone.
But she held them to her heart, and at last was able to look up and say: “My hair grows so fast, Jim!”
And then she jumped up and cried, “Oh, oh!” Jim had not yet seen his beautiful gift. She held it out to him in her open hand. The silver chain seemed so bright.
"Isn't it wonderful, Jim? I looked all over town to find it. You will have to look at the time a hundred times a day now. Give me your watch. I want to see how it looks on it."
Jim sat down and smiled. “Della,” said he, “let’s put our Christmas gifts away and keep them a while. They’re too nice to use now. I sold my gold watch to get the money to buy the set of combs for your hair. And now, why not put the meat on."

The MAGI- were wonderfully wise men— who brought gifts to the Christ child. They were the first to give Christmas gifts.

But let me speak a last word to the wise of these days:
Of all who give gifts, these two were the most wise.
They most unwisely sacrificed for each other the most valuable thing he-she owned in order to buy a gift for the other. It’s about how completely they love each other.

For Love Prevails!

A Hearts SONG!

Love is a forever song that two hearts across the universe know it as theirs. It is the love song of all ages.

I've got a never-ending love for you
From now on, that's all I want to do
From the first time we met
I knew I'd have a never-ending love for you.

I've got a never-ending love for you
From now on, that's all I want to do
From the first time we met, I knew
I'd sing my never-ending song of love to You.

This is a beautiful, happy love song. The words we believe to be true, when in love (In love, you say love is forever.) And isn’t it true? Love is forever and the song goes on. It is the Song of Hope, it is the Song of Joy, it is the Song of Love, it is the Song of Songs!

What makes a Perfect Love Song?

Could it be the lyrics. Or maybe it takes you to an enchanted place or time, maybe somewhere where you feel complete relaxation. At certain time, it could be, the way your heart beats to the music-to the song.
This is a 1976 hit – You to me are Everything by The Real Thing.
I would take the stars out of the sky for you
Stop the rain from falling if you asked me to
I'd do anything for you, your wish is my command
I could move a mountain when your hand is in my hand

Words cannot express how much you mean to me
There must be some other way to make you see
If it takes my heart and soul, you know I'd pay the price
Everything that I possess I'd gladly sacrifice

Oh, you to me are everything
The sweetest song that I could sing
Oh, baby, oh, baby

So maybe we agree, in this song, it is the words, but what if I tell you that the music to the song is equally good. Give it a ear…listen!
You cannot have a song with just mere words. There is always a music that goes with the words. From what we know and see in the world, for a love song to be a hit, it has to be the lyrics of the song and the music that accompanies it.
And yes, in the world we live, words have lost their meaning, because somewhere, people have lost themselves. They have forgotten what it means to be true. But to a few of us. Love means EVERYTHING!

A “tender,” heart is always gentle, kind and compassionate! It is selfless in its outlook and puts the other first. It is the spirit of giving that feels cheerfully excited in giving.

Get rid of all bitterness, wrath, anger, evil speaking, and malice, for these things only exist in a hard-hearted person. Bitterness is the death of tender-heartedness.

Human nature is selfish. Most people are not sensitive to the situations and needs of others, and they do not make the effort to consider them. Jesus has given us two commandments in ONE:
Matthew 22:37-39 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
The second commandment is to love others as ourselves. We need to be sensitive to other people's concerns and feelings. Consider others more important than yourself in your own thoughts.

Lead by example being tender hearted always and let Love pave the path to a loving Tomorrow.

We are all links in a chain, a bond that takes its flight to the Heavens, and connects us all to the Heart of God! In the words of Helen Keller: Alone We Can Do So Little. Together We Can Do So Much.
Love is a never-ending song. Think about it:-
  • It begins the first moment you open your eyes and see.

  • The little rays of light from the Sun, when you wake up-albeit you can’t hear it. (like The Birds)
  • The Birds they sense the beginning of day, and they chirp away joyously. It is their RESPONSE to the SUN! J
  • The breeze, the winds they know, they move. (A response)
  • The Sea flows through rivers and streams. The flow is continuous.
  • The trees and plants their motion is that of a slow dance.
  • The Moon and stars they are the last to sing, but they do so with their guiding light.
Everything in nature SINGS. Each one with love calls to the other. And the other responds.

Love is not put in the heart to stay. Love is not Love, until its given away.
For love is the sweetest song that is sung and heard all around the universe and through creation. It has been so from Time Immemorial!

My heart is in rhythm with Yours. It always was, is and forever to eternity, will be!

The Seven's - Part 1

Tell it like it is! - The GOSPEL Truth!

I have seen the number 77 at every place, no matter where I go.

Matthew 18:21-22 - Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.

I wish to mention The Archangels, because they are most important to me. My Grand-Father’s name was Michael. He lived to a good 100 years.
Gabriel is the name of my cousin.
Archangel Raphael is always with me. His sign of letting me know of his presence is the number 444 which is also the numberless page in my Bible. It Is a chapter on Tobit.
The first time, He let me know his presence was with a flap of His wing on my head. There was nothing anywhere near to me. I remembered that day, but it was much later, that I realized it was Archangel Raphael.

46 Books are from the Old Testament.

27 Books are from the New Testament.

73 Books in all. 73 is a reversal to 37.

In the grace of God, i take This a bit further as I now understand. I learnt about the number 46 about 2 years back, and there was so much I needed to know. Yesterday when I heard Fr. John, that possibly He is leaving, it saddened me and every number came into its place. 46+67+72+37=222 (Fr.DF,Fr.RT,Fr.JnP,Fr.CG)

A Covenant is a sacred agreement between God and His children.
In making a Covenant, God sets the terms of His covenants and God promises a blessing for obedience.
As the story of the Bible unfolds, we see God is a covenant making, covenant keeping, and covenant fulfilling God.

   The Seven Covenants of GOD
1. The Adamic Covenant.
2. The Noahic Covenant.
3. The Abrahamic Covenant.
4. The Mosaic Covenant.
5. The Davidic Covenant.
6. The New Covenant.
7. The Eternal Covenant.

Each of these covenants has four elements-including promises, terms, blood, and a seal. They reveal God’s faithfulness to His people and His Redemptive Plan throughout history.
Promises: Each covenant includes specific promises made by God to His people. For example, the Abrahamic Covenant promised land, descendants, and blessings for all nations.
Terms: Covenants have terms or conditions that both parties must fulfill. The Mosaic Covenant, for instance, included the Ten Commandments and other laws.
Blood: Blood signifies the seriousness of the covenant. In the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed, symbolizing the covenant’s binding nature. Jesus’ blood represents the New Covenant.
Seal: A seal confirms the covenant’s authenticity. For instance, circumcision served as a seal for the Abrahamic Covenant, while the Holy Spirit is the seal of the New Covenant.

Fr. Reuben Tellis taught us this Prayer:
Oh! God I lay my life at your feet and offer you all that I am
May my feet follow your leading,
May my mind be renewed with your truth,
May my heart be full of your grace,
May my words be full of your wisdom,
May my mind be full of your truth,
May my dreams be full of your vision,
And my soul full of your peace.
I lay my life at your feet and offer you all that I am. Amen.

Matthew 27:

42 Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
43 But know this, that if the householder had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

The Seven's - Part 2

John's SEVEN SIGNS and their SIGNIFICANCE!
The result was a deepening belief in Jesus as the Christ, the Giver of Eternal Life.

1. Turning the water into wine. The Wedding at Cana. 2:1-11

Jesus is Lord of Nature.

The transformation of water into wine.
Jesus is able to change every human life that willingly surrenders to Him.

2. The healing of the nobleman’s (official’) son. 4:46-54

Jesus is Lord of Life.

Jesus is able to give life on the one condition of faith.
Jesus tested the man's faith and challenged the official to believe in Him. Although his son lay dying at Capernaum, this man believed in Jesus and stayed in Cana for the night. The next morning as he approached Capernaum his servants came to meet him with the joyful news that his son was living.
The father asks them the hour when he began to heal. On their reply, the father knew that was the hour when Jesus said to him, "your son will live".

3. The healing of the man who was paralyzed for 38 years. (He waited by the pool of Bethesda.) Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your pallet, and walk.” 5:1-15

Jesus is the Restorer of Lost Powers.

No matter how sinful a man is, Jesus gives life on the one condition of belief.
The man tells Jesus that it is impossible for him to get into the pool. The first word of Jesus "Rise". This was the very thing the paralysed man could not do. Jesus called him to do the impossible.
No matter how hopeless the case may be. When Jesus commands all we need to do is OBEY.
"take up your pallet" (mattress). The man is on his feet, he is completely cured. What this means is make no provision for returning to your old life, whatever that may be.
"and walk" - which means don’t expect others to carry you.
This man at the pool hadn't walked for 38 years. Because he believed in Jesus and obeyed Jesus', new life flowed into him.

4. The feeding of the five thousand.

Five Loaves & Two Fish.
6:1-14

Jesus is the Food by which we live.

Jesus can Sustain the spiritual life He creates.

5. The walking on the water. 6:15-21

Jesus is our Help.

No barriers kept Jesus away from His Apostles then, no barriers will keep Him from coming to us now when we call on Him in our time of need.
No matter how the storm rages, when we call on the Holy Mighty Name of Jesus. Jesus will we be with us in the boat and through the storm.

6. The healing of a man born blind. 9:1-41

Jesus is our Light.

Obedience to Christ will lead to a greater truth.
The man born blind says "The man called Jesus" - that was all he knew of Jesus at the beginning of the miracle.
Confronted by the Pharisees the healed man received stronger faith.
"What do you say about Him, since He has opened your eyes?" He said, "He is A PROPHET." He told the Pharisees "That though I was blind, now I see." So, they cast him out.
The healed man-"If this man were not of God, He could do nothing." Jesus found him and said, "Do you believe in the Son of man?" He answered, "And who is He, sir, that I may believe in him?" Jesus said to him, "You have seen Him, and it is He who speaks to you," He said, "Lord, I believe"; and he worshipped Him.

7. The raising of Lazarus. 11:1-57

Jesus is Lord of Eternal Life.
His gift of life does not end with death of the physical body.
Through the 7th sign, we know, death has lost its sting and victory.

John 20:30-31 - “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name.”

"My Lord and my God!" John 20:28.
