The women to be named as Doctors of the Church: 

• St. Teresa of Avila (called Saint Teresa of Jesus) and St. Catherine of Siena in 1970 by Pope Paul VI. 

• Followed with: St. Thérèse of Lisieux (known as the Little Flower of Jesus, or simply the Little Flower.) by Pope John Paul II. And St. Hildegard of Bingen by Pope Benedict XVI.
