Eucharistic Adoration-Reflection - Psalm 139

This is The Eucharistic Adoration (now in words here) i most love and enjoy in the Whole Wide World. I love to return to It every time.
I love the way Fr. Reuben explains everything so perfectly and with a warmth and tenderness in His Words.
Of all the things, we think we know, come and enjoy the Eucharistic Adoration like you've never ever experienced before.
I have attached the Link towards the end of this passage.
Walk with Jesus and be with Jesus in this Holy Hour(here in words). This i will say, every time i listen - i am encouraged beyond words.
I bring before you my world of treasures: - in the Words of Fr. Reuben Tellis.

Fr. Reuben Tellis begins the Eucharistic Adoration with:
Father, we Adore You, lay our lives before You,
how we Love You!
Jesus, we Adore You, lay our lives before You,
how we Love You!
Spirit, we Adore You, lay our lives before You,
how we Love You!

As we gaze at Jesus in the Blessed-Sacrament we thank God for the opportunity to pray to reflect to surrender.
There is much that we have to thank God for, to praise him and thank him for his mercy his compassion his love and his generosity. So let us use this time to express our gratitude to him who provides for our every need.
I invite you to make a mental list of gratitude at this moment. Bring to mind everything that you are grateful to God for.

With a grateful heart let us give thanks to God our loving Father.
Give thanks with a grateful heart,
Give thanks to the Holy One,
Give thanks because he's given Jesus Christ his Son.
Give thanks with a grateful heart,
Give thanks to the Holy One,
Give thanks because he's given Jesus Christ his Son..
And now let the weak say I am strong.
Let the poor say I am rich.
Because of what the Lord has done for us (2*)
Give Thanks!

As we verbalize everything that we are grateful to God for - our response is:

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O lord.
We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O lord.
We thank you Lord for the gift of life, for the roof over our heads, for the food we enjoy each day, for family and friends who bring us Joy. For neighbours who are kind and helpful.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord. Together:

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
We thank you for Peace in our home and even if there is no Peace we thank you for the reminder that we are human and there are times when we are Joyful and times when we can be morose.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
We thank you for our Faith, to the Church we belong to, for our Priests who Shepherd us, for the Sacraments we Participate in, for our communities and associations, for the Spiritual Nourishment we receive.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord. Together:

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
We thank you for our country-for our leaders, for policies drawn up for development of all citizens.
We thank you for municipal workers, for those who have been in the forefront during this time of insecurity caused by the pandemic.
For those who run the various transport services.
For those who reach out to people in need.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord. Together:

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
We thank you for our occupation, for the finances our work provides.
We praise you for the provisions we have.
We thank you for all that we receive from your bounty, for the rest and relaxation. For good health and peace of mind for the facilities and privileges, we enjoy.

We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
We praise you, we bless you, we thank you O Lord.
You may now lift up your own prayers of thanksgiving.

Let us summarize our thanks and our praise as we sing together,
'What thanks O lord!'
What Thanks O Lord can I render thee
For all the gifts thou has showered on me
Each day I'll sing of Thy Praise and Glory,
Allelu, Alleluia!
Give thanks to the Lord upon the harp.
With a ten stringed lute sing him songs,
O sing Him a song that is new,
Play loudly with all your skill.
CHORUS
O sing to the glory of his name.
Say to God: "How great are thy deeds!
Burnt offering to Thee I will bring,
To Thee I will pay my vows".
CHORUS
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good,
Yes, eternal is His love.
Though I walk in the midst of affliction,
He stretches his hand to save.
CHORUS

⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶  I now invite you to reflect with me on - Psalm 139
⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶
O lord you have searched me, and you know me
You know when I sit and when I rise,
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down,
you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue,
you know it completely, O Lord.
You hem me in behind and before,
you have laid your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
too lofty for me to attain.

Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise in the wings of the dawn,
and settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
and your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say surely the darkness will hide me,
and the light become night around me,
even the darkness will not be dark to you.
The night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

For you created my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, because I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful!
I know that fully well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was made in that secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me,
were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts Oh God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake, I am still with you.

If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
Away from me you bloodthirsty people.
They speak of you with evil intent.
Your adversaries misuse your name.
Do I not hate those who hate you O Lord?
And abhor those who rise up against you.
I have nothing but hatred for them.
I count them my enemies.
Search me O God and know my heart.
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way of life everlasting.

Let us spend a few moments in silent and quiet reflection.
David’s Psalm is one of complete surrender to God. And his expression comes from the knowledge of knowing how faithful God is in all his relationships.
Let us drink in the comforting words of the Psalm which remind us of the complete trust and surrender we must make to a God who is ever loving and merciful.
O lord you have searched me, and you know me.
It is God who always comes searching for us. It is because of the sins we commit that we move away from God we break our relationship with him. God knows each and every one of us so well he touches the
depths of our hearts.
You have laid your hand upon me.
It is such a beautiful feeling to know that God's hand is always upon us.
If I go up to the heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise in the wings of the dawn
and settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.

How comforting are these words to know that God is everywhere. That God knows what is best for us. That God's hand is leading us. That God's hand is holding fast onto us.
You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, because I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful!
I know that fully well.
God has created each and every one of us. He has knit us together in our mother's womb.
God's works are wonderful! Can you imagine that thought?
God's works are wonderful!
You and I are wonderful!
Because God has created us and it is with this thought that we must live our lives daily.

Sometimes we just give in to what people say things about us. We get worried about the prejudices that people show. There are judgments passed on us.
People have things to say about our bodies, our skin, our colour, our habits, but remember this, God has knit us together in our mother's womb. His works are wonderful!
And just as there are people around us who deceive us who say all sorts of things. There are even people who try to take us away from God who justify things that are happening and saying that if there is evil in the world it is because of God.
Search me O God and know my heart.
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
How wonderful it is to know that we have a God who searches for us.
He looks for the last the least and the lost. And this should reassure us each and every day of our lives.

All things are thine, Oh Lord.
We offer thee what we receive from thy hand. (2)
Blessed are thou O Lord, Israel’s God for all ages.
Thine is the power and glory and splendour.
CHORUS
Thou art the ruler, O Lord,
over the earth and the heavens,
only Thy hands give greatness and strengthens.
CHORUS
Therefore, this day, O Lord,
Praises and Thanks do we give Thee.
Thy Name be Blessed, Forever and Ever.
CHORUS

Come let us spend time gazing at the Blessed-Sacrament and reviewing the situations we are in. Is there anything that is worrying you making you anxious? Something about your health your family your relationships your finances, general fears?
The Psalm which we prayed just now gives us an insight into surrendering to God and placing him at the center of our lives. As you sit in silence gazing at the Blessed-Sacrament, what is uppermost in your mind which you would like to surrender to God?
Can you hear the lord saying why do you confuse yourself by worrying. Leave the care of your affairs to me and everything will be peaceful. I say to you in truth that every act of true blind complete surrender to me produces the effect that you desire and resolves all difficult situations.
Surrender to God does not mean to fret, to be upset or to lose hope, nor does it mean offering to God a worried prayer asking him to follow you and change your worry into prayer.
It is against this surrender, deeply against it to worry to be nervous and to desire to think about the consequences of anything. It is like the confusion that children feel when they ask their mothers to see to their needs and then try to take care of those needs for themselves, so that their childlike efforts get in their mother's way.
Surrender means to gently close the eyes of the soul to turn away from thoughts of tribulation and to put yourself in God's care. So that only he actsSo, when you say you take care of it you are surrendering to God
'You take care of it!'

Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.
Together: Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.
God does a lot when the soul in so much spiritual and material need turns to him and implores him, You take care of it then closes its eyes and rests.
In pain we pray for God to act but then we expect that he should act in the way we want. We do not turn to God instead we want him to adapt our ideas. We are not sick people who ask the doctor to cure us but rather sick people who tell the doctor how to cure us.
As you gaze at the Blessed-Sacrament, reflect on what your prayer has been like. Even in moments of difficulty and struggle have you surrendered to God. Have you told God, You take care of it?
Human as we are, there are times when we expect God to go along whatever we want to happen. But we are being invited to surrender to God saying, You take care of it.
Together: Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

So, we must not act this way but pray as Jesus taught us in the "Our Father".
Hallowed be thy name - that is be glorified in my need.
Thy Kingdom come - that is let all that is in us and in the world be in accord with your Kingdom.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven - that is in our need decide as God sees fit for our temporal and eternal life.
If we say to God truly thy will be done which is the same as saying you take care of it. He will surely intervene with all his power and will resolve the most difficult situations.
Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

If you see evil around, you growing instead of weakening.
Do not worry close your eyes and say to God with faith,
Thy will be done, You take care of it!
God says to you that he will take care of it and that he will intervene as does a doctor and he will accomplish miracles when they are needed.
Do you see that the sick person is getting worse do not be upset but close your eyes and say God you take care of it. God says to you that he will have taken care of it. And that there is no medicine more powerful than his loving intervention.
Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

Then there are times when God leads us on a path different from the one that we see. And we must be assured that he will prepare us that he will carry us in his arms. Then he will let us find ourselves like children who have fallen asleep in their mother's arms on the other bank of the river.
What troubles you and hurts you immensely are your reason your thoughts and worry and your desire at all costs to deal with what afflicts you.
Imagine that image of the Good-Shepherd holding the lamb in his arms.
Imagine that image of a mother holding her baby.
It is very comforting to know that God himself is holding us, carrying us in his arms.
There may be a situation in your life where you have to take a different course, a different path. Remember how Abraham in the Old-Testament made that choice.
Very often we hold on to so many things about the past. We don't let go.
As you gaze at the Blessed-Sacrament keep repeating the words -
You take care of it!
You take care of it!
If there is an illness that you are facing at this moment or maybe someone in your family is suffering, you may be worried because you don't know what the future is, but have you surrendered to God?
Are you telling God in your prayer: You take care of it!
Together: Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

There are times when we spend sleepless nights worrying. We want to judge everything, direct everything and see to everything and we tend to surrender to human strength or worse to human beings themselves trusting in their intervention. This is what hinders God's words and views. And all that God needs is our surrender-To help us.
And how God suffers when he sees us so agitated. Satan tries to do exactly this to agitate us and to remove us from God's protection and to throw us into the jaws of human initiative.
So trust only in God rest in him. Surrender to him in everything.
Together: Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

God performs miracles in proportion to our full surrender to him. He sows treasure troves of grace when we are in the deepest of anguish.

No person of reason no thinker has ever performed miracles not even among the saints. God does divine works to whoever surrenders to him.
So surrender completely to a God who cares and is compassionate. He will take care of things, this is his Promise.
As you gaze at Jesus:
What is it that you are surrendering to God?
What is it that you are telling God to take care of?
Together: Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of God's grace. Close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future, just as you would from temptation. Repose in God believing in his goodness and say, You take care of it.
Of course, God will take care of it he will console you, liberate you and guide you.
Pray always in readiness to surrender and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards even when God confers on you the grace of repentance and of love.
Close your eyes and say with all your soul - You take care of it.
Do not be afraid the Lord will take care of things and you will bless God's name by humbling yourself.
A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender.
Remember this well!
Have thine own way Lord, Have thine own way.
Thou are the Potter; I am the clay.

⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶
As you gaze at the Blessed-Sacrament, you must imagine what the Lord did on earth. Jesus surrendered completely to God's will. Even though he was God he surrendered to his Father. Every moment of his living existence he surrendered to God the Father. Every prayer that he made he surrendered to God. This is the great truth of God's love for Jesus, for his people. Surrendering to God means that we are ready to allow God to do things to us, to keep us safe to protect us, to guide our journeys.
When the Lord was crucified on the Cross it was with his dying breath that he surrendered his life to God,
Father into your hands i commend my spirit!
All through his life Jesus surrendered to God. It is in our prayer that we surrender knowing that our God listens to our prayers.

As we spend a few moments in prayer and silent-adoration, let us offer ourselves in surrender to God and allow him to touch our lives to give us the strength to do extraordinary things for him.

I give my hands to do Your work

And, Jesus Lord, I give them willingly.
I give my feet to go Your way
And every step I shall take cheerfully.
CHORUS
O the joy of the Lord is my strength, my strength,
O the joy of the Lord is my help, my help.
For the power of His Spirit is in my heart,
And the joy of the Lord is my strength.
I give my eyes to see the world.
And everyone in just the way You do.
I give my tongue to speak Your words.
To spread Your name and freedom giving truth.
CHORUS
I give my mind in every way.
So that each thought I have will come from You.
I give my Spirit to You, Lord,
And every day my prayer will spring anew.
CHORUS
I give my heart that You may love.
In me Your Father and the human race.
I give myself that You may grow.
In me and make my life a song of praise.
CHORUS

⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶⩶

Let us raise our right hands towards the Blessed Sacrament and repeat this prayer after me:
Oh God I lay my life at your feet and offer you all that I am
May my feet follow your leading,
May my mind be renewed with your truth,
May my heart be full of your grace,
May my words be full of your wisdom,
May my mind be full of your truth,
May my dreams be full of your vision,
And my soul full of your peace.
I lay my life at your feet and offer you all that I am. Amen.

Let us bow in adoration, To this Sacrament so great
Here is new and perfect worship,
All the old must terminate,
Senses cannot grasp this marvel,
Faith must serve to compensate.

Glory, honour, adoration; Let us sing with one accord,
Praised be God, Almighty Father,
Praised be Christ His Son our Lord,
Praised be God the Holy Spirit,
Triune Godhead be adored. Amen.

PRIEST: God our Father you sent your son into the world to be its true light pour out the spirit, he promised us to sow the truth in the hearts of all people and awaken in them obedience to the faith. May all men and women be born again to new life in baptism and so enter the fellowship of your one holy people. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
As we surrender ourselves to God and we lift up our prayers to him. May you experience his blessings all the days of your life. May almighty God bless you the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit?
