Choose Faith

Faith is the opposite of Fear. Fear is a lie. FEAR–stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. We miss out on God’s best, when we fear.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…1 John 4:18
Perfect love is what drives out all fear. When we truly understand how much God loves us, we will fear nothing. His love knows no limits. It has no boundaries. His love never changes. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you any more, and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you any less.

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.   Joshua 1:9
The more you fill your heart and mind with God's Word, the stronger your faith will be so you can stand against the powers of darkness.
Remember, the enemy (satan) will always play on your fears. He will block all your paths, because he knows that your greatest success is just around the corner. When thoughts come, choose faith by saying, 'I can do all things through Christ!'. Choose faith.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.  II Timothy 1:7
God's desire for us is that we continually progress.  But when we make the decision to believe and obey God, the enemy will bring in fear to try to stop us. He'll do his best to use fear to hold us back.
The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.  Proverbs 29:25
Fear affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are fighting fear.
Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life!

Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined]    I Peter 5:9
Don’t dwell on fears, and don’t think about all the reasons why you can't do what God is telling you to do. Don’t let fear grow.
In the Bible, when God told David to go fight Goliath, David moved quickly toward the battlefield. In other words, he didn't think about it. He didn't allow fear to grip his heart and talk him out of it. He just did what God wanted him to do.

Conclusion:
Every-body has tremendous potential, but they let the enemy talk them out of doing what God wants them to do. Every time they have a dream, the enemy brings in fear; and they just swallow his lies.
People today are missing out on God's blessings because they keep giving in to fear. They are afraid to make a decision, confront issues, or to step out in faith. They're afraid of the past, and of what the future holds. But as believers, we don't have to live in fear.
Fear is not from God. Refusing to deal with fear doesn't make it go away. Be strong-willed and determined knowing that the enemy is defeated.
Resist fear and boldly embrace every blessing the Lord has in store for you.

Prayer: Teach me oh Lord, to never fear. Teach me to never bend my knees before insolent might. Let me always come to You in Holy reverence.
