Soul on Fire. . . .

My People,

Good Morning! I love music. It has the capacity to soothe your soul, manner of speaking.

Matthew 5:43-45 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”

I love ABBA, my comfort zone.  Whenever I was troubled as a child or really lonely, just knowing ABBA played in the background somewhere, would relax me completely.
Today when I listen to them, it’s the feeling of walking in clouds. I absolutely love ABBA. The attachment was the name.
I know it was Abba Father, relaxing me with His presence even when I did not know how to reach to Him. HE is my walk in Heaven. My, Abba Father.

No one can ever predict how things will be. Each day is different. I quote Winston Churchill: never give in, never give in, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.

This is a song of Jason Mraz and it’s called ‘Love Someone’. It’s a very beautiful song, I promise you, you will love the words, and if you listen to it, it is magical. If you listen you will feel like you have been transported to Paradise. The lyrics are

Love is a funny thing
Whenever I give it – it comes back to me
And it’s wonderful to be giving with my whole heart
As my heart receives your love

CHORUS 1: Oh, ain’t it nice this life we got each other
I am right beside you
More than just a partner or a lover,
I’m your friend
CHORUS 2: When you love someone
Your heartbeat beats so loud
When you love someone
Your feet can’t feel the ground
Shining stars all seem to congregate around your face
When you love someone
It comes back to you

And love is a funny thing
It’s making my blood flow with energy
And it’s like an awakened dream
Oh what I’ve been wishing for is happening
And it’s right on time

REPEAT CHORUS 1
REPEAT CHORUS 2
When you love someone

I gonna give myself to love tonight
I'll lift you up to touch the moonlight
And we will savor every second we
suspend together you and I will

We're gonna give ourselves to love tonight
Lifting up to touch the starlight
And we will savor every second we
Suspend together you and I will
You and I will, you and I will

When we oppose a proposed (thing that needs to be done) action, we are in opposition to the Will of God. At that moment we are doing that which is our desire. In reality it is our will that we serve.
We pray for God’s will to be done. Mostly the difficult part is accepting anything other than what we want. Humanly, to do Gods will - that would be impossible.
We need to pray, for God’s help, given His Grace – we will find the strength to do what we thought or think we can’t.
Philippians 4:13 states - I can do all things in him who strengthens me.

Change comes from accepting the will of God in our lives.
Change is never the easiest thing to accept.

When the Holy Spirit brings about a message of change in our lives, it will be somenting that we need to adapt to. It’s not going to feel good. It may sting. Simply said-All I need to do is trust in God, and believe that whatever the circumstance that I’m currently going through is meant for my betterment and is not here to destroy me. I have to trust in God’s faithfulness.

Change is necessary – it’s a part of life.… And it rarely occurs to us that we need to change.
You can’t keep doing things the way you’ve always done them and not expect to get a different result.
I’ve learnt that things in your life will change when you first change your pattern of thinking (your mindset).
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

The Word of God reflects – It shows us the way we should be and the way we are.
The Word of God has the power to change us. All we have to do is be patient and persevere.

I’m learning by the grace of God – I am, each and every single day.
Everything is subject to change except God Himself. Nothing about us ever remains the same.
Start saying what the Word says: “All things are possible with God!”

CHANGE must be accepted with faith and a joyful heart.
This is what I believe in : ‘I am subject to change.’

People always have a false notion of what change really implies. It is certainly not to be taken as to deal with the wrongs done to you. I would never ever say something like that. No, do not deal with wrong and do not bear evils done to you or anyone for that matter. You can bear patiently, for a cause. But that would be a topic for some other day.

Be BOLD in your prayers before God and come to Him saying: I believe there’s nothing You can’t change in me. Here I am, I want to be everything you want me to be.”

Love is mighty. It can build and it can topple the whole universe.
It gives you courage and it is Who we call GOD because all love, all goodness comes from HIM. All that is GOOD is GOD.

Exercising is a wonderful way to increase your stamina. It builds you up and to a certain extent it boosts your confidence. Correct me if I’m wrong?

To believe in miracles, is something that not everyone willingly or whole heartedly believes in. How do you believe in miracles? How do you believe that you will have your prayers answered?

  • In the above lines, I have mentioned that the Word of God has the power to change us. But it can only happen if and when I believe that the Bible is The Word (The Promise made by God). When I believe in the Bible, when I read and continue doing so, the word becomes alive and God becomes an intricate part of my being.
  • “All things are possible with God”. When the Priest places the Holy Communion (The Body of Christ)…... That is the most intimate moment, we have with Jesus. The moment I receive Jesus, this is what happens - I accept and admit Jesus being the Son of God, this is my way of receiving Him in my heart. It is a Jesus and me moment. It is what I believe that further strengthens and makes Jesus presence in my heart an ever growing and intimate presence.
  • I am subject to change. The moment Jesus enters my heart, I feel tenderness and I feel love. The One who is meek and humble of heart, is in residence in my heart, and I must diminish and Christ must increase.
  • Jesus meek and humble of heart make my heart like unto thine.

Everybody has a dream. We need to believe that when there is a dream in the heart, then there is a reason why its there.
When God places a dream in our hearts, there will be turbulent times too. The enemy will do all he can to keep us in fear and to keep us from moving forward.
When you step into what God has planned for you, His anointing makes the impossible possible. 1 John 2:27 says, “but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.

Be BOLD to follow God instead of your fears. We need to live life based on God’s Word and the vision He has planted in our hearts.
The Israelites went where God lead them to, shouldn’t we do the same?
If and when you loose your way, trust in God to bring you back.
Remember with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
Don’t let other people make your decisions. Follow God’s chosen destiny for your life. Embrace all that you’re meant to be in Christ. Choose BOLDNESS!

John 14:27, Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
The peace that Jesus gives is a peace that passes all understanding; it makes us peaceful when all natural reasoning says we should be upset.
Until we take complete responsibility for our actions we will never be able to break free from our struggles or bondages.
Most people just want to blame someone or something else for their problems - and make excuses for the way they are. But we can’t let the things from our past, or present, become an excuse to stay where we are or do what we do.
I am in an ever learning process. Things change when we take responsibility. It wasn’t easy and problems don’t just disappear, but I trust God to help me, and all I want to do is be a little more of Jesus with each and every passing day. I am learning to live with the peace that Jesus gives.
The devil is persistent and will do whatever he can to wear us out and keep us from God’s will. We need to have a never give up attitude and a faith in Jesus.
We are full of the Spirit of the living God, who makes us more than conquerors. Things are not always going to go our way and when it doesn’t, we can be prepared to stay in peace in the midst of it all.

This world we live in is a highly corruptible world. In this journey to life we forget that Love is the only essential aspect of our lives. It is how we need to live. It is our only Hope against all evil.
In a race that needs to be Heaven bound, we are all glued to being earthbound. We are stuck with being and making our earthly positions secure. We want everything that our eyes set themselves on.
And for the desires that we want to achieve how much of an unkind and inhuman people can we become? At the rate of achieving our goals we don’t mind ruining other peoples peace, we don’t mind stamping on their territories so long as our positions are secure. WHY?
But this is what JESUS has asked us to, HE has given us a commandment to Love: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Life can and will throw a lot of different things your way. But I want you to believe in JESUS, not just 1percent but give it your all. Believe because there is none who will love you the way Jesus does (The HOLY TRINITY does). Believe with all your heart.
I don’t ever doubt in the power of God. There is nothing, HE won’t ever do. The answers are all upto God. BELIEVE because they always are!
BELIEVE!
BELIEVE!
BELIEVE!

With all my Love,
For Love Prevails!

SOUL On FIRE

There are so many things I love to do.
But If I could make a wish I would wish my words would reach to you.
Memories they build the heart,
For destiny had it that I love you from the start.

The stars they always will shine,
The words of love from time were meant to be mine,
You have set my soul on fire,
For ever and ever you are my every desire.

PRAYER: Abba, Father, keep me obedient and always faithful. Remember, this your servant.
Mama Mary keep me humble, I pray. Amen.

Eternal Love!. . .

My People,

Good Morning! Love does amazing things in the life of a person. It fills your heart with gladness, removing all the sadness. It wipes away all traces of fear. Love lifts you up.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

The most valuable gift you can give to someone is your time. To purchase a commodity as a gift, does not say much. Does it? It just says you had the money and you purchased something that money could buy.
To walk miles-to be there for that special someone, that speaks volumes. When you give your time to someone, you give something of yourself to them. Isn’t that what love is? Isn’t that what love should do?

All the nations of the earth
Praise the Lord who brings to birth
The greatest star, the smallest flower-Alleluia.

Let the Heavens praise the Lord-Alleluia.
Moon and Stars praise the Lord-Alleluia.

Oftentimes, as soon as we make the decision to step out in faith and obey God, the enemy brings in fear to try to stop us. 2 Timothy 1:7 states-“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
The enemy will do his best to keep us where we are.
Fear plays on our emotions and holds us back. In 1 John 4:18 we learn- There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love. When we receive God’s perfect love, we will have confidence about the future because we know His plans are for our good. Fear is a lie. Choose to believe in God’s love – it is in His Love that you will find the strength to overcome fear.

Our attitude should always be, ‘God watches over me’. Who should I be afraid of? Nothing I’m facing is a surprise to Him. Psalm 27:1 states-“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Remember, God has the final say. And when you put your faith and trust in Him, God will cause you to triumph. Be strong and of good courage. Keep God first place and know that He is working things out for your good.

The Scripture talks about how when any two of us agree, it shall be done. That’s a promise that God will do what He said. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
Don’t get into an agreement with fear. The only way it can come to pass is if God gives His approval. And if God does, you can rest assured it’s not going to work against you. It’s going to work for you.
Genesis 50:20 states- As for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, …..
If we keep our eyes on the Lord and not the circumstances, we will realize that everything that seems like a misfortune can be turned around to your good and to God’s glory. What the enemy means for evil in your life God means for good.

I don’t like politics. It never did interest me. We want just and honest people as leaders, but we need to be just and honest in our daily dealing with people-not by hurting or killing their feelings.
I believe when you want something real bad, you need to practise it with all your heart. If we want good leaders, we need to begin with a change from within us. Every person is duly responsible for a change no matter how small. Change never is easy - but it has to begin - and it always begins with a ‘me’ implementing it. I need to be the change-if I want to see one.
I got to be good to my neighbour. I got to love with all my heart. And I can love my neighbour only when I truly understand what it is to love God and when I am filled with a certainty that I’m loved by the Almighty God.

BELIEVE IN THE LOVE OF JESUS. LOVE CALLS FOR LOVE.

When you are standing right beside the one you love, there can’t be a better place than that in the world? And it is not a question. That is all-the place on this Earth.
You don’t need-no visa.
You don’t need-no passport.
All you need is God’s approval, a stamp that says "A-ok" - Certified.

St. Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. "I can do all things in him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
The merciful love of Jesus is without limits; His mercy is infinite.

Remember, the Prodigal Son where the father received him, not as a servant, but as a beloved son. Seeing him from afar, he runs to meet him; he presses him to his heart, and embracing him, he orders that there be dancing and music. This story shows us a father’s happiness at the return of his son who was lost. It shows us the Heart of God! It tells us of the gentleness of God. It tells us how good God is.

The good thief, rebuked the other criminal, saying, "Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”
"Then he looked at Jesus and said - "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
And he said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." Luke 23:40-43

The highest proof of love is to surrender ourselves completely.

Martha and Mary demonstrated their faith in Jesus at the bedside of the dying Lazarus by sending Him a message which stated: “Lord, he whom you love is ill.” Jesus permitted Lazarus to die, giving them the chance to demonstrate a confidence by an act of faith. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, while Mary sat in the house.
Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
Jesus reminds Martha who He is: "Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"
That is the great question, the condition for the miracle.
Martha makes the act of faith: She said to him, "Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, he who is coming into the world."
Jesus permits a greater trial. Jesus brought Lazarus back to life, but before He did so, He required, as always, an act of faith. - John 11
My prayer: "Lord, increase my faith!"

Jesus needs nothing but our humility because it is then we realize our unworthiness. The Canaanite woman, asks Jesus to cure her daughter who is possessed by a demon. Jesus tells her that He has come for the lost sheep of Israel and He has nothing to do with her. Humbly she accepts but insists, Lord, come to my aid. And Jesus shows Himself to be even sterner. Often Jesus acts in this way in order to test our faith.
He answers her, "Let the children first be fed, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
The Canaanite woman in her humility responds: "Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
She asks no more than a crumb at the banquet of merciful love!
Jesus says, "For this saying you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter." Mark 7:24-29
When Jesus tests your faith, be as determined and humble as the Canaanite woman.

Jesus call His Apostles, "Men of little faith!"
Jesus was asleep in a boat with His Apostles. A great windstorm blew up, and the waves poured into the boat. Seized with anguish, the apostles wake Jesus up. And rising up, He commands the sea, "'Peace! Be still!' And there was a great calm.
Then, turning to His Apostles, He asks, "Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?" Mark 4:40 Jesus scolds them with gentleness: What He meant to ask - I was in with you — and you were afraid and doubted. Do you not know with what tenderness my heart watches over you?
It is doubt that pains and offends Jesus most.

With Jesus, I have nothing to fear? I shall remain in peace in the midst of the storm.

  • There is this lady who sits for alms outside the Church. She has a smiling face. One of the times when passing her, I saw a person after mass just took 3-4 of the ten notes and put it in her hand and walk away. No kind gesture, no look of the face. No affection shown. But the same lady later walks into Venus (takes all her time) to pick up what she wants to. Don’t we need to be a little more kind? Charity in whatever way is appreciated, but it needs to be done with love.

In the Church-I notice
  • Pianists seated when the Priest reads the Gospel.
  • The choir members offering and eating sweets in the Church.
  • People reading jokes on their cell and laugh – when the homily is being given.
  • Cells on a ringing mode - in the Church during the mass. No calls must be entertained. The cells should be on silent or switched off when in the Church.  Once or twice I have seen people answering the call. Isn’t that a shame?
  • People in the Church and gossiping away to glory.
  • And most important of what I noticed – during lent when the confessions were on, there was this person, who I suppose does the repair work of the mikes-was in a fury and blaming one of the choir members for some problem with the mike. That was highly uncalled for. Considering first and foremost, that it was lent season-and he was doing a work for the Church. Secondly this was in the Church-and the gesture should have been a loving one. Thirdly, that if he was such a good technician or whatever they call it, he would be able to repair the fault without making such a huge scene. Fourth, the mass was to begin in 5 minutes.
Do you see there are so many problems? We are in the Church, when the so called things happen. We need to take initiative to right the wrongs. We need to first and foremost pray for ourselves. We need to pray that God give us all the grace that we require to constraint ourselves from the wrongs we do to others and the wrongs we do before God. We need to PRAY….

I love being happy; I love to love and I can do all this with the knowing that I am forgiven. Peace is the certainty that we are forgiven because we are loved.
St. John declares, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity." 1 John 1:8-9
God has made Himself man, brought Himself down to our level and He has raised us up to Himself by sanctifying grace.

Let the Heavens praise the Lord-Alleluia.
Moon and Stars praise the Lord-Alleluia.

Day 10th of May, 2014 – The reason I write this, is because I heard of an announcement made that there is to be a performance by ABBA-Gold (something announced as-anyway ABBA is my favourite group). It was then that I asked Abba, Father, is this end of the signs? In other words, I was asking-Is my waiting over?
Day 11th of May, 2014 – I met one of my friends who I know since 9 years, because he used to work in the same company. His son’s name, as I asked was Raphael (Raphael -- Arch angel and also known as Angel of Love).
Day 15th of September, 2013- 15th September, 2013, on a Sunday on my way home from the Church, we were walking through the fair of the Mount, when all of a sudden I felt the flap of a heavy wing on the back of my neck. That very moment I knew it was an angel. (from my article WALK on for the date of September 30, 2013)
Both the 11th of May 2014 & 15th of September 2013 - happened at the same spot.

Sometimes all the heart needs is the reassurance that Heaven does hear and respond to our prayers. St. Raphael announced his name, in a way, giving me the reassurance and certainty of his healing presence! I feel blessed. Honestly this is what I have come to understand. I have waited for a very, very long time. Most important I know he is here with me. Yes I know.
Thank You, Abba Father and thank you, St. Raphael.(Tobit 444)
Raphael means "God heals". The healing archangel isn't subtle in announcing his presence. He wants you to know that he's with you, as a way of comforting you.
Holy Raphael says in the Book of Tobit, “Praise God and give thanks to him; exalt him and give thanks to him in the presence of all the living for what he has done for you. It is good to praise God and to exalt his name, worthily declaring the works of God. Do not be slow to give him thanks. It is good to guard the secret of a king, but gloriously to reveal the works of God. Do good, and evil will not overtake you." Tobit 12:6-7

Angels watch over us every minute of our life. We need to implore our guardian angels help in whatever we do.
"For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." - Psalm 91:11-12

An angel guards and protects us from all harm.
Psalm 34:7 states that- The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Angels are God's helpers who have been assigned the task to protect, defend, and deliver each one of us from all that is evil.

To my Guardian Angel,

Through the storms of every day,
I thank the Lord with the words I pray,
Where words are deep and the heart means more,
these and more are the words that I could say,
I am glad you are my Angel in lifes beautiful way!
I love you so!

With all my Love,
For Love Prevails!

A LOVE so perfect . . . .

My people,

Good Morning! Isn’t it the most fantastic word that you have heard? Thank God, on a Sunday you get to meet The One you love.

Paul in Colossians 1:10 says: “Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in knowledge of God”.

I am truly sorry. After Church and home this is my next favourite stop. I missed you. I was terribly sick and am still a lot stressed out due to illness. My family has gone for two days and I feel like a week has already passed. I love people. I love the chatter. Call me crazy. I think that’s what happens when you live with Cancerians-you get their emotional side (which is good). My mum, my cousin, my brother and the rest of them-all cancerians. This week, starting Thursday, I have got a week’s off from work and the reason being-health issues. And I think the break will do me good.

So I’ll begin the way my French teacher used to ‘In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit’, Amen.

What do you do when you love someone? How do you tell them what they mean to you? What do you do? How do you let them know, what do you say?
Ill be loving you forever
Deep within my heart,

Deep within my soul,
You are everything I want,
You are everything I need
and from that moment until forever I will always love you!

Words they make the world a better place to live in, if we only choose them wisely.

I can now understand why this song was such a rage in its time and why the Beatles sang, ‘I want to hold your hand’ and isn’t that what is felt when you are with your beloved. Isn’t that what you want to do?

You are my fire
The one desire
You are, you are, you are.
So if I say, I love you, if I said you are everything I desire, If I told you-you are my world to me, that you are all the words I write, what would you say?
You my love, are my beloved. Would you understand?

I love the words taken from Westlife’s song-I’ll be lovin you.
If I wrote the words - I have to write-on love, the words in a lifetime would never be enough. So these are part of the words from the song, for now let it suffice.
You are the sun,
You are my light,
And you’re the last thing on my mind,
Before I go to sleep at night.
You’re always around,
When I’m in need,
When trouble's on my mind,
You put my soul at ease,
There is no one in this world,
Who can love me like you do,
That is the reason that I,
Wanna spend forever with you.

Love is amazing. One look from your beloved and one look at him makes your heart pound. The very sight of him makes any place of the earth a wonderful place to be in. When you see him smile, it brings happiness untold.
To catch a glimpse of him, you know you could walk a million miles you could walk to the ends of this earth.
And every minute with him is so precious that the heart aches with an ache that you never want to think off when you are away. It is a terrible ache – a pain, indefinable.

If there is ever anything that I could say to you-among the many things, that could be said-this would be one of the so many things, ‘You are the only one my heart will ever want.’

Sometimes a situation looks impossible to the human eye-It could look to be beyond human hope. Just remember, when you understand Love, you will know ‘Nothing is Impossible.’

As Christians, we are not asked to do something complex-as we love to make it sound. Jesus has given us the command to love, really how difficult is that?
Jesus chose to suffer with love in doing the will of God. He chose to suffer the crown of thorns, the nails on His hands and feet and being whipped while tied to the pillar. He was spat on, mocked at. He was made to carry the Cross through the streets. Yet in all His love, never did He ever feel humiliated-He loved us so much-that His heart bled to do well (good). Isn’t it why it is called Good Friday?
Jesus, the Son of God with all the LOVE in the world-died to save us from sin. On a Friday, Love did win. Love triumphed over evil.
Now is it really difficult? Give LOVE a chance …..

Matthew 22:37-40 states- And Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the great and first commandment.
And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets."

John 13:34 states- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

John 15:13 states- Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Paul tells us-Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Colossians 3:12-13
Am I becoming more like Christ? Examining your walk with Christ means looking not so much at what you are doing, as at what you are becoming. Such a walk cannot be achieved by human effort alone. It happens by the work of the Holy Spirit, through faith in His Word.

Day 4th May, 2014 – Fr. Alvaro gave his shortest homily ever. It comprised only for a span of two minutes. And he chose to speak on – Did not our hearts burn. Listening to Fr. Alvaro's shortest homily did make me miss hearing him, so much. Whatever, Fr. Alvaro said touched my heart, so here goes,
Luke 24:32 states-They said to each other, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?"
Jesus had fulfilled that which had been prophesied; of His passion and triumph of life over death.
On the Emmaus road Jesus approaches the two disciples and joins the conversation. Jesus wasn’t there besides them simply to help them to find solutions. Jesus told His two listeners, "Did not the Christ have to suffer these things..."

Jesus explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
Jesus started with Moses and worked His way to the prophets.
Moses represents the Law… The Law pointed to Jesus!
The prophets revealed prophecy… They spoke of Jesus!
As Jesus revealed these things to these men, He ignited a fire within their hearts.
These men reached their destination and they invited Jesus to remain with them. Their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him. They were simply excited about how Jesus explained the scriptures and revealed the truth about the Messiah to them and they desired for Him to continue.
Have you sat down to hear a sermon and when it was over you felt that you wanted more? When you encounter the risen Savior you will NOT want that experience to end! There will be a “spiritual hunger”. And when we possess that spiritual hunger Jesus will remain with us just as He remained with these men on the Road to Emmaus.
He broke the bread, gave thanks, and suddenly He was no longer a stranger. Their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus in the breaking of the Bread. Their hearts were burning inside of them. The source of a burning heart is a walk with Jesus.
The word “burn” means to set on fire. When we have a burning desire for Jesus in our heart and we have a spiritual hunger Jesus is there. Not only is He there but He will make His presence known.
And if you are going to grow in your walk with the Risen Savior it REQUIRES time in His Word! Believing the Word of God requires faith!
Jesus knows all your doubts and concerns. He sees your heartbreak, and He wants to take you further in your faith.
These are truly the basics of a walk with Jesus:
Spending time with Him – in prayer. And
Spending time in the Scriptures – The Bible.
Let the love of Jesus set your heart on fire. Let the flame ever burn.

The trusting heart always says, "All my steps are ordered by the Lord. He permits my sufferings, temptations and trials—but never more than I can bear. He is Lord over every event and situation of my life."
A perfect heart is also a broken heart!
The Psalmist David said, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite [crushed] spirit" Psalm 34:18
Brokenness means more than sorrow and weeping, more than a crushed spirit, more than humility.
This is truly a broken heart: one that first sees the church and families in ruin and feels the Lord's anguish. Such a heart grieves over the reproach cast on the Lord's name. It also looks deep inside and sees, as David did, its own shame and failure. But there is a second important element to this brokenness, and that is hope. The truly broken heart has heard from God:"I will heal, restore and build.“

Day 12th May, 2014 - I was a little bit hurt. After the 7:30 mass as I was walking and I looked into the sky there was this beautiful phase of the moon and I thought I have never seen it so beautiful. This happens to me mostly, it is a recurrence as such-after the moon there is always a 111. I do not understand. Abba, Father, please help me understand. Your will be done.

We see what we want to see. We speak about the apostles not being good listeners. So if you do not listen-then how will you understand? Listening and understanding go hand in hand.
On looking deep into their hearts, Jesus chose these men as His Apostles, He knew them. They were every bit lovable, they were His and only Jesus knew them.
On the mission, the 3 years with Jesus and untold number of miracles, that the apostles witnessed, yet they did not understand.
And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. Mark 14:27
The disciples all forsook Jesus and fled, when they saw him in the hands of His enemies. They felt fear and doubt for the moment if whether He was indeed the Son of God. They fled like frightened sheep. When our Lord, Jesus rose from the dead, He found them all in the same place; and then He revived their faith and courage.

To be Apostles from being fishermen or tax collector, it’s a different lifestyle.
So for the Apostles, it was a gradual transition. In reality it was a process through which they were growing. They were just fishermen, used to the hard life, being days on end in the sea, facing storms, not knowing when and if they would come home. Jesus knows.
After the resurrection, Jesus did not suddenly appear to His followers and terrify them. He came to them where they did not at first recognize Him. Like on the road to Emmaus.

Love does not condemn. Jesus did not treat them like deserters. Jesus understood. See if I run a day, and the One who loves me, JESUS is crucified and killed, and I realize what I have done. I recall the wonderful times, the words, the miracles, part of the prophecies. I know I should have stood by Him.
When Jesus came and stood with His Apostles, he greeted them with these words “Peace be with you.”

With this greeting, Jesus showed them Perfect love. He held nothing in His heart other than love. The other name for Love is Peace. When you experience this Christ like love you will feel a boldness that is in no comparison to anything else. That’s what the Apostles experienced.
Once the Apostles received the infilling of the ‘Holy Spirit’, they were never the same. Their lives were forever changed.
Jesus always knew - there was never any doubt. Love always wins! Amen.

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. 2 John 1:6

With all my Love,
For Love Prevails!
